The hob guard prevents children from reaching the
hob.

Follow these safety instructions when using
the accessory.

Intended use
Please read the information on intended
use to ensure that you use the accessories
correctly and safely.
Only a trained expert or service personnel
authorised by the manufacturer may install
the accessory on the hob.
Install and use the accessory in accordance
with the installation instructions.
You can only use the appliance safely if the
accessory is installed and used in accord-
ance with the installation instructions.
Incorrect installation may result in serious
accidents and damage to the appliance.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for
damage of this kind.
Only use the hob guard to
¡keep children away from the hob.

Safe use
Follow these safety instructions when using
the accessory.
WARNING‒Risk of fire!
Flammable objects on the hob guard may
catch fire.
▶Never place flammable and combustible
objects, such as dishcloths and towels,
on the hob guard.
WARNING‒Risk of burns!
The hob guard may heat up.
▶Never cover the ventilation slots above
the hob guard.
▶Keep pots and pans away from the hob
guard to prevent the hob guard from heat-
ing up.
Steam that escapes steam from pots and
pans may heat up the hob guard.
▶Exercise caution when using pots and
pans.
WARNING‒Risk of injury!
An unsecured appliance may slip and tip
over. A hob guard on a tilted appliance may
cause danger.
▶Only install the hob guard on the hob of
an appliance that is secured to the wall.
An unsecured hob guard may cause
danger.
▶Secure the hob guard fully to the hob.
Preventing material damage
To prevent material damage to your accessory, ob-
serve the following information.
ATTENTION!
Forces acting on the hob guard lead to deforma-
tions.
▶Do not hang on or pull the hob guard with force.
Scope of delivery
After unpacking all parts, check for any damage in
transit and completeness of the delivery.
Installing the hob guard
1. Release the connection thread (T20) for the hob
on the right and left side of the appliance.

2. To install the hob guard, remove the connection
thread (T20) for the hob on the right and left side.

Cleaning the hob guard
To ensure that your accessory works correctly for a
long time, clean and maintain it carefully. Clean the
accessory only in accordance with the instructions
and using suitable cleaning agents.
Requirements
¡Read the information on cleaning agents.
¡Ensure that the hob and hob guard are cold.
¡If you remove the hob guard for cleaning, make
sure that you install it correctly before reuse.
1. Clean the accessory using hot soapy water and a
dish cloth. In the event of excessive soiling, soak
the dirt in water.
2. Dry the accessory with a soft cloth.

monteret og anvendes i overensstemmelse
med installationsvejledningen.
En forkert montage kan medføre alvorlige
ulykker og skader på apparatet.
Producenten påtager sig ikke ansvar for så-
danne skader.
Kogesektions-barriere må kun anvendes til
¡at holde børn væk fra kogesektionen.
Sikker brug
Overhold disse sikkerhedsanvisninger, når
tilbehøret anvendes.
ADVARSEL‒Brandfare!
Brændbare genstande, som opbevares på
kogesektions-barrieren, kan antændes.
▶Læg aldrig antændelige og brændbare
genstande, som karklude eller viskestyk-
ker på kogesektions-barrieren.
ADVARSEL‒Fare for forbrænding!
Kogesektions-barrieren kan blive meget
varm.
▶Ventilationsåbningerne over kogesektions-
barrieren må aldrig dækkes til.
▶Sørg for, at gryder og pander ikke berører
kogesektions-barrieren, så kogesektions-
barrieren ikke bliver opvarmet.
Damp fra gryder og pander kan opvarme
kogesektions-barrieren.
▶Anvend gryder og pander med forsigtig-
hed.
