Cauon This hood is for general venlang use only. Do not use to exhaust hazardous or —
explosive materials and vapors.
To reduce the risk of injury to persons in the event of a range top grease re, observe the
following:
A. Smother ames with a close-ng lid, cookie sheet or metal tray, and then turn o the burner.
BE CAREFUL TO PREVENT BURNS.
B. If the ame do not go out immediately ,EVACUATE AND CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
C. NEVER PICK UP A FLAMING PAN---you may be burned
D. DO NOT USE WATER including wet dishcloths or towels a violent steam explosion will result. –
E. Use an exnguisher ONLY if:
1. You know you have a class ABC exnguisher, and you already know how to operate it.
2. The re is small and contained in the area where is started
3. The re department is being called.
4. You can ght the re with your back to an exit.

WARNING To reduce the risk of a range top grease re: ---
A. Never leave surface units unaended at high sengs. Boilovers cause smoking and greasy
spillovers that may ignite.
B. Turn hood ON always when cooking at high heat or when cooking aming foods
C. Clean venlang fans frequently. Grease should not be allowed to accumulate on fan or lter
D Use proper fan size. Always use cookware appropriate for the size of the surface element .
E Constantly check food frying to avoid that the overheated oil may become a re hazard. .
F Disconnect the electrical plug prior to any maintenance. .
G. This appliance is not intended for use by young children or inrm persons without
supervision.
H. Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
I. There shall be adequate venlaon of the room when the rangehood is used at the same m e
as appliances burning gas or other fuels.
J. There is a risk of re if cleaning is not carried out in accordance with the instrucons
K under the hood allow the use of up to 6 stoves. .
