aremade Carefulbyinsertingthepinsintothematerialbeingmeasured. useofthis

meterwillprovideyearsofreliableservice.

Cautions

 This             device is not a toy and must not reach children’s hands. It contains

TakingReadings

Thefollowingprocedureisusedtomakerelativeor ofcomparativereadings the

moisturecontentinwood,wallboardorothermaterials.Thereadingsyouwillobtain

arerelativeindicationsofthemoisturelevelNOT % moisture

   content.To freeze a

readinginthe thedisplay,press HOLDbutton.

1. SlidetheswitchtoTEST.

2. Toestablish a benchmarkforthe thematerialyouarereadingInsert sensor's

testpinsinto a knowndry(oracceptable)areaofthematerialbeingtested.

Insertionshouldbeas asdeep possible.Notethis‘dry’reading.

3. Then materialinsertthe thesensor'stestpinsinto a knownwetareaof  being

tested.Insertionshouldbeasdeepaspossible.Notethis‘wet’ reading.

4. Use referencethesedry‐to‐wetreadingsas pointstowhich

  subsequent readings

canbecompared.
