Before you begin: Read these instructions completely and carefully.
IMPORTANT: Save these instructions for local inspector's use.
IMPORTANT: OBSERVE ALL GOVERNING CODES AND ORDINANCES.
INSTALLER: Be sure to leave these instructions with the Consumer.
CONSUMER: Keep these instructions with your Use and Care Book for future
reference.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL
GAS:
• Do not try to light any
appliance.
• Do not touch any
electrical switch; do not
use any phone in your
building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a
neighbor’s phone. Follow the gas supplier’s
instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call
the re department.
Installation and service must be performed by
a qualied installer, service agency or the gas
supplier.
• Installation of this cooktop must conform with local
codes or in the absence of local codes with the
National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223. 1-Latest edition.
• Be sure your cooktop is installed properly by a
qualified installer or service technician.
• To eliminate reaching over surface burners, cabinet
storage above burner should be avoided.
• Do not install unit near an outside door or where a
draft may affect its use.
This cooktop has been design certied by the American
Gas Association. You'll nd safety precautions in your
Use and Care book. Read them carefully.

• 9/32" nut driver
FOR TILE COUNTERTOP INSTALLATION:
• 4 3/16" X 1 1/4" masonry screws
• Electric drill and a 5/32" drillbit
ADDITIONAL MATERIAL YOU MAY NEED:
• Gas line shut-o valve
• Pipe joint sealant
• 1/2" pipe nipple
For flexible connection where local codes
permit:
• Coated and approved exible metal tubing (same
3/4" or 1/2" I.D. as gas supply line)
• Adaptor or connector
For rigid connection:
• Pipe ttings or union as required
