To help protect the environment, when the
product has reached the end of its life,
please dispose of the product properly, not
in household waste. Please contact your

Defective or used batteries must be
recycled in accordance with Directive
2006 / 66 / EC. Return batteries and / or
the device to the provided recycling
facilities.
Warranty
The device has been manufactured to strict quality
guidelines and meticulously examined before deliv-
ery. In the event of product defects you have legal
rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal
rights are not limited in any way by our warranty
detailed below.
The warranty for this device is 3 years from the date of
purchase. Should this device show any fault in materi-
als or manufacture within 3 years from the

Remove the battery compartment screw 4 and
remove the battery cover 7.
Insert new batteries as shown in figure A (models
114444-15-01, 114444-15-02 and 114444-
15-03) or figure B (model 114444-15-04).
Note: Please note the correct polarity and cor-
rect battery type. Both are indicated inside the
battery compartment 2 and in figures A and B.
Close the battery cover.
Secure the battery cover with the battery
compartment screw.
Trouble-shooting
The device contains delicate electronic components.
This means that if it is placed near an object that
transmits radio signals, it could cause interference. If
the display indicates a problem, move such
objects away from it.
Electrostatic discharges can lead to malfunctions. In
cases of the appliance failing to work, remove the
batteries for a short while and then replace them.
Cleaning
Do not use chemical or corrosive cleaning agents.
Never immerse the product in water or other liq-
uids. The product may otherwise be damaged.
Clean the product with a duster.
Before use
Note: The product is supplied with the batteries
already inserted.
Lift up the product fabric to expose the battery
compartment 2.
Remove the insulating strip 6 from the battery
compartment.
Start-up
Hang the product by the hanger 1 so it hangs
freely.
Slide the ON/OFF switch 5 to the ON position
to switch the product on. This will trigger an
animation demo. Be sure not to block the legs
(model 114444-15-01 and 114444-15-02),
arms (model 114444-15-03) or wings (model
114444-15-04).
Note: All models emit a „Halloween howl“.
On models 114444-15-01 and 114444-15-02
the legs move, on model 114444-15-03 the
arms, on model 114444-15-04 the wings.
Models 114444-15-02, 114444-15-03 and
114444-15-04 also have a light effect.
After completing the test cycle, the animation is
triggered whenever the electronics detect a loud
noise (e.g. clapping).
Replacing the batteries (Fig. A–B)
Replace the batteries if loud noises no longer
trigger a product animation.

Risk of battery leaking
In the event of a battery leak, immediately re-
move it from the device to prevent damage.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. In the event of contact with battery
acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with clean
water and seek immediate medical attention.
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and tem-
peratures, which could affect the batteries, e.g.
above radiators/in direct sunlight.
Remove the batteries from the device if they have
not been used for a long period.
Risk of property damage
Only use the specified battery type!
When inserting the battery ensure that it is
inserted the right way round! This is indicated
inside the battery cover.
If necessary, clean the battery and device
contacts before inserting the battery.
Promptly remove drained batteries from the product.

As pilhas avariadas ou gastas têm de ser

Depois do ensaio inicia sempre a animação
assim que o sistema eletrónico regista um ruído
alto (p. ex., bater nas mãos).
Substituir as pilhas (fig. A–B)
Substitua as pilhas se o produto já não reage
com uma animação depois de um ruído alto.
Remova o parafuso do compartimento das
pilhas 4 e retire a tampa do compartimento das
pilhas 7.
Coloque, como indicado na figura A (para os
modelos 114444-15-01, 114444-15-02 e
114444-15-03) ou figura B (para modelo
114444-15-04) as pilhas novas.
Nota: Tenha em atenção a polaridade correta e
o tipo de pilha correto. Ambos são indicado no
compartimento das pilhas 2 e nas figuras A e B.
Volte a fechar o compartimento das pilhas.
Proteja a tampa do compartimento das pilhas
mediante o parafuso do compartimento das
pilhas.
Resolução de problemas
O aparelho contém componentes eletrónicos sensí-
veis. Por isso, é possível que um aparelho que fun-
cione com sinais via rádio na proximidade do relógio
interfira com o funcionamento deste. Se aparecerem
indicações de erro no visor, afaste tais aparelhos da
proximidade do aparelho.
Cargas eletroestáticas podem causar interferências
no funcionamento. No caso deste tipo de

Batterien wechseln (Abb. A–B)
Wechseln Sie die Batterien, wenn das Produkt auf
laute Geräusche nicht mehr mit einer Animation
reagiert.
Entfernen Sie die Batteriefachschraube 4 und
nehmen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel 7 ab.
Legen Sie, wie in Abbildung A (für die Modelle
114444-15-01, 114444-15-02 und 114444-15-03)
bzw. Abbildung B (für Modell 114444-15-04)
gezeigt, neue Batterien ein.
Hinweis: Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Pola-
rität und den korrekten Batterietyp. Beides wird im
Batteriefach 2 sowie in den Abbildungen A und
B angezeigt.
Schließen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder.
Sichern Sie den Batteriefachdeckel mittels der
Batteriefachschraube.
Fehler beheben
Das Gerät enthält empfindliche elektronische Bauteile.

Inbetriebnahme
Hängen Sie das Produkt am Aufhänger 1 so
auf, dass es frei hängt.
Schieben Sie den ON-/OFF-Schalter 5 in die
Position ON, um das Produkt einzuschalten. Es
erfolgt sofort ein Probedurchlauf der Animation.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie die Beine (Modell
114444-15-01 und 114444-15-02), die Arme
(Modell 114444-15-03) bzw. die Flügel (Modell
114444-15-04) nicht blockieren.
Hinweis: Alle Modelle geben ein „Halloween-
geheul“ von sich.
Das Produkt muss außerhalb der Reichweite von
Kindern angebracht werden.

Vermeiden Sie extreme Bedingungen und Tempe-
raturen, die auf die Batterien einwirken können z.
B. auf Heizkörpern / direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.
Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn sie längere Zeit
nicht verwendet worden sind, aus dem Gerät.
