Fitting

Please read all of this instruction before installing the

splashback.

The manufacture disclaims all liabilities for any

damage or injury caused as a result of not following

this instruction leaet.

To Fit the Splashback

This splash is intended to t behind a built in hob.

The wall should be at and clear of any obstructions.

The wall surface must be sound with no loose plaster

or aky paint and free from dust. If you intend to tile

the wall we recommend that the splash is tted rst

and the tiles are then tted up to the splash.

You will need the following equipment to complete

the splashback installation satisfactorily:

• Apencilormarker

• Arule

• Tileadhesive



Take care! The splashback is heavy and we

recommend at least two people should t it.



Beware of sharp edges. Use gloves when

handling the splashback.

Mark the intended splash position on the wall.

Applytileadhesive5mmthick therearoftheMDFto

in each corner and centre.

60 & 70 Splashbacks

Hold the splashback in your marked position.

Press splashback into position using rm pressure

to toallowtileadhesive takeup unevenwallany

surfaces.

Thetileadhesivemanufacturer’sinstructionwill

indicate how long it should be left for to cure.

Note: When tting a cookerhood along with

this splashback, please refer to the cookerhood

instructions for important tting dimensions.

Cleaning

NEVER USE PAINT SOLVENTS, WASHING SODA, CAUSTIC CLEANERS,

BIOLOGICAL POWDERS, BLEACH, CHLORINE BASED BLEACH

CLEANERS, COARSE ABRASIVES OR SALT.
