Thank you for purchasing Rocstor KS20T 104-Key Keyboard with Built-in Smart Card Reader. It is designed for use with

smartcard enabled identication system. It is ideal for providing a user authentication for applications such as network login,

e-government, e-commerce, healthcare and etc. This keyboard works with all smart cards that comply with ISO 7816 Class A,

AB and C memory and microprocessor smart cards (T=0, T=1).

Icon Function LED Behavior

To install the Rocstor KS20T,

1. Close any open applications and Shut Down the computer.

2. Plug USB and locate the appropriate connection receptacle on the computer.

3. Securely install the cable connector into the computer receptacle.

4. Re-start the computer.

When the Rocstor KS20T is powered, it performs a self test and initiation sequence with the computer.

The keyboard power LED will ash a few times when smart card insert into slot.

Other LEDs will show the status of the Scroll Lock, Num Lock, & Caps Lock functions.

Test the keyboard with normal use in a text editor like Microsoft Word.

Troubleshooting

1. The smart card reader does not output data;

The Power LED will fash few times and OFF when smart card insert into smart card slot. If not,

please try other ISO 7816 Class A, B and C smart card.

2. The smart card reader sometime can’t read;

Please make sure if the smart card is well inserted into card reader to the bottom position.

Or check if Rocstor KS20T, is connected to USB Hub. If so, please connect directly to PC.

3. The smart card reader cannot be recognized by Windows 10;

Please download latest version of PS/SC driver from your distributor or Microsoft.

4. PC cannot recognize Rocstor KS20T;

Please try other USB port or connect USB plug of keyboard to rear panel of USB port of PC.
