by the user must not be performed by children unless they are older than 8 years of age and under supervision.
Keep this appliance and the power cord out of reach of children that are younger than 8 years of age.
■Children must not play with the appliance.
■Before connecting the electric kettle to apower socket, check that the voltage stated on the rating label
matches the electrical voltage in the socket.
■Connect the electric kettle only to aproperly grounded socket.
Attention:
This electric kettle is not designed to be controlled using aprogrammed device, external timer switch or
remote control.
■The electric kettle is designed for domestic use and similar places such as:
– staff kitchens in stores, offices and other workplaces;
– hotel or motel rooms and other living areas;
– bed and breakfast establishments;
– agricultural farms.
■Do not use the electric kettle outdoors.
■Do not place the electric kettle on window sills or on unstable surfaces. Always place the electric kettle on
astable, even and dry surface.
■Never use the electric kettle in the near vicinity of abath, shower or swimming pool.
■Only use the electric kettle with the base that was supplied with it. Do not use the base supplied with this
electric kettle for other types of electric kettles.
■Take care not to spill water on to the connector when placing the kettle on to the base or when taking it off
the base.
■Use the electric kettle only for boiling water.
■If the electric kettle is overfilled, then boiling water could splash out.
■Don’t move the kettle lid or open it while the water is boiling.

Incorrect use may lead to injuries.
■Pay extra attention when handling akettle filled with hot water.
■The electric kettle is protected against damage caused by accidentally running it without water.
