SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION! DO NOT connect to an ungrounded outlet. DO NOT use with 2-wire extension cords or

adapters. This surge suppressor is designed for indoor use only. Install the surge suppressor away

from heat-emitting appliances such as radiators or heat registers. Do not install where excessive

moisture is present. Do not plug extension cords into it. Never install electrical, telephone, network

or coaxial wiring during a lightning storm. Do not drill into any part of the housing or open the

housing for any reason. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.

Important Safety Instructions

• Use of this equipment in life support applications where failure of this equipment can reasonably

be expected to cause the failure of the life support equipment or to significantly affect its safety

or effectiveness is not recommended. Do not use this equipment in the presence of a

flammable anesthetic mixture with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide.

Installation

Mount Your Surge Suppressor

(Optional Installation, TLP606USB Only): If desired, mount your surge suppressor on a wall

or other sturdy, vertical surface. However, you must mount the surge suppressor prior to

connecting your equipment. Place a sheet of paper over the surge suppressor’s mounting holes

and mark their centers with a push pin. Next, place this template over the desired area and mark

with the push pins. Install screws (user supplied) into the marks until ¼ in. (0.6 cm) of the screw

heads are exposed. Mount the surge suppressor over the screw heads and slide into place.

(Installation, TLP606DMUSB

Only): This suppressor features a

built-in clamping system for

attaching the unit to desks,

tables and work benches. To

install, loosen the two mounting

clamps, then slide the suppressor

firmly onto the edge of an

appropriate surface. Retighten

the mounting clamps.

Connect Your Surge Suppressor to

the AC Power Line: Plug the surge

suppressor’s power cord into a

standard, 3-wire grounded 120V AC

outlet.

Turn Your Surge Suppressor ON:

Press the surge suppressor’s power

switch to “ON” or “RESET” (depending

on model). Select models feature an

illuminated switch.
