IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the
following:
Read all instructions.
Danger
- Always put the ingredients to be fried in the fry basket, to prevent them from coming into contact
with the heating elements.
- Do not cover the air inlet and the air outlet openings in the sides and bottom of the appliance.
- Do not fill the fry basket with oil as this may cause a fire hazard.
- To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other
liquid. D o not rinse it under the tap.
Warning
- Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you
connect the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or
has been damaged in any manner.
- Do not heat over 1 hour continuously, wait some minutes to cool down the machine before you
need to heat again.
- Do not put the aluminum foil, parchment paper, paper towel into fry basket or anywhere inside for
cooking.
- Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Keep the mains cord away from hot surfaces. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter,
or touch hot surfaces.
- Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket. Always make sure that the plug is inserted
into the wall socket properly. To disconnect, turn any control to “ ”off , then remove plug from wall
outlet.
- Always place and use the appliance on a dry, stable, level and horizontal surface. Do not place on
or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate
remote- control system.
- Do not place the appliance against a wall or against other appliances. Leave at least 10cm free
space on the back and sides and 10cm free space above the appliance. Do not place anything on
top of the appliance.
