COOKING TIPS
REHEAT & COOK
Microwave presets and sensor cooking
automatically track the cooking progress of
your food for select presets and adjusts the
cook time to help you get just the right amount
of heat and time.
TIP: Place a microwave-safe container in the
center of the glass turntable to achieve best
results.
VEGGIES
From frozen or room temperature,
place food in microwave-safe
container.
Add 2 tablespoons water to 1-2 cups,
add 4 tablespoons water to
3-4 cups. Cover the dish, leaving an
air ventilation. Stir and let stand
2-3 minutes after cooking.
MELT/SOFTEN
Easily melt ingredients like chocolate, butter
and more. Go from solid to soft in a few button
presses with Soften preset.
TIP: Place a microwave-safe container in the
center of the glass turntable to achieve best
results.
DEFROST
Spend less time waiting for foods to
thaw with our microwave preset defrost
settings that adjust the power levels of your
microwave for defrosting, so you can get an
ideal thaw for frozen foods.
TIP: Use small pieces of aluminum foil to
shield parts of the food, such as for chicken
wings and fish tails.
POPCORN
Automatically get the settings you
need to cook popcorn right and
help prevent burning. Or pop it
right the first time with Popcorn
Preset.
TIP: Listen for popping to slow to
one pop every 1 or 2 seconds, and
then stop the cycle.
KEEP WARM
Keep food warm and ready to serve for up
to 60 minutes while you wrap up the rest of
your meal using the low-heat keep warm
setting.
TIP: Use a microwave safe container for this
keep warm cycle.

COOKING INSTRUCTION DEMO MODE
To activate demo mode: Hold the number
“3” on the keypad for a few seconds.
To deactivate demo mode: Hold the
number “3” again on the keypad for a few
seconds.
Place food inside the microwave.
Press POWER/TIME.
Use the number buttons to enter power
level.
Press POWER/TIME again.
Use the number buttons to enter a custom
cook time.
Press Start to begin cycle.
Close the oven door.
Find your favorite recipe (see the cooking
guide label inside your microwave).
Press keypad once or repeatedly to select
your favorite recipe.
Use number keypad to input food weight/amounts.
Press Start to start the cooking.
During cooking, press the CANCEL keypad
once to pause cooking time. Press the CANCEL
keypad twice to cancel cooking time.

OVEN VENT
SETTING POWER LEVEL
AND COOK TIME
Ensure optimal cooling by keeping oven vent clear for
proper air circulation.
Always use oven mitts or pot holders when removing dishes from
the microwave ovens.
Aluminum foil and some metal can be used in the microwave
oven (Follow manufactuer recommendations). If not used
properly, arcing (a blue flash of light) can occur and cause
damage to the microwave oven.
The Grease Filter is on the underside of microwave
oven.
Clean monthly.
Instruction:
1. Disconnect power.
2. Remove the grease lter by sliding it out of the
bottom plate.
3. Clean the grease lter with a mild cleanser and
scouring pad, or clean it with dishwasher.
4. After cleaning, dry it up, reattach the grease
lter back to the bottom plate.
The charcoal filter is behind the vent grille at the top
front of the microwave oven. It cannot be cleaned and
should be replaced every 6 months.
Instruction:
1. Disconnect power. Open the door.
2. Remove 2 screws attached to the vent grille, slide
the vent grille to the left, tilt it forward, lift it out, and
set the vent grille aside.
3. Pushing the right holding plate to the right, release
the old charcoal lter from the two hooks, and lift it
out.
4. Insert the new charcoal lter into the unit, make sure
the mesh side is facing out.
5. Return the vent grille to the unit by inserting the
3 bottom latch hooks of the vent grille into the front
holes, tilt the vent grille backwards, slide it to the
right.
6. Secure the vent grille with the screw.

Heavy soil
Mild, nonabrasive soaps and detergents:
Heat 1 cup (250 mL) of water for 2 to 5 minutes in microwave
oven. Steam will soften soil. Rinse with clean water and dry with
soft, lint-free cloth.
Odors
Lemon juice or vinegar:
Heat 1 cup (250 mL) of water with 1 tablespoon (15 mL) of either
lemon juice or vinegar for 2 to 5 minutes in microwave oven.
