Getting started
• Follow the instructions and ensure to save all data and stop applications that are using
the current GPU before switching the GPUs.
• Your Notebook PC must be running Windows 11 24H2 or later version for the ROG XG
Mobile to function properly.
1. Open the kickstand, or use the bundled vertical desktop stand to keep your ROG
XG Mobile upright.
2. Plug the bundled AC power cord into the power connector of your ROG XG Mobile.
3. Plug your ROG XG Mobile into a 100V~240V power source.
4. Plug one connector of the bundled USB Type-C
®
cable into your ROG XG Mobile’s
Thunderbolt™ 5 upstream port.
5. Plug the other connector of the bundled USB Type-C
®
cable into your Notebook
PC’s Thunderbolt™ port. Once connected, the status indicator on your ROG XG
Mobile blinks white and the activation process starts.
6. When the activation is complete, the status indicator turns solid white and you will
see a notification on your Notebook PC.

NOTE: Make sure your computer supports at least Thunderbolt™ 4/USB4

with an x86/x64
processor. The status indicator lights up in red when this device is connected to a computer

for a full list of supported Notebook PC models.
