●To prevent fire, do not cover the ventilation of this
apparatus with newspapers, table-clothes, curtains, etc.
●Do not expose this apparatus to drips or splashes.

on this apparatus.
●Do not install this apparatus in a confined space such as a
bookcase or similar unit.
●Install this apparatus only in places where ventilation is

●In case of emergency, disconnect the USB cable from your
computer quickly.

●Be sure to purchase the appropriate conversion plug
adapter when connecting to headphones with other than
φ3.5 mm stereo headphone plug.
●Firmly insert each plug all the way into its base.
●Before connecting, turn the volume level down of this
product and the devices to which this product is connected.
●A rectangular optical digital cable is required when
connecting to the optical output jack.
●A line cable is required when connecting to the line output
jack. Please purchase an appropriate cable according to the
connected device.
●Before connecting or disconnecting the cable, turn the
connected computer off.
● This product is not compatible with monaural headphones.
●Noise may occur depends on inner ear headphones.
Operation
Computer settings
*Refer also to the user manual of each device to which this
product is connected.
*Before connecting, make sure the power of each device to
which this product is connected is off.
*This product is powered by USB bus power.
1. Connect to a computer or each device you use as shown
below.
2. Turn on the power of the computer. The power indicator of
this product lights up.
3. Configure the computer settings according to ''Computer
settings'' of each OS.
4. Play music using a computer. Adjust the volume level of the
sound heard from a connected headphone.
*This product cannot adjust the volume of devices which are
connected to the line output jack and optical output jack.
*This model utilizes an analog volume control circuit; as a result
you might experience a slight difference in audio level
between the right and left channels at the minimum volume
setting.
1. This product is registered automatically as an audio
device at first time connection.
2. [START]->[Control panel]->[Hardware and sound
settings]->[Sound]->[Play]
Select [AT-HA40USB] and click [Reset] and then click
[Apply].

2. [START]->[Control panel]->[Sound and audio property]->
[Audio]
Select [AT-HA40USB] in [Previously-defined device] of
[Sound reproduction] and click [OK] and then close the

2. Open [System environmental setting] in [Application].
