Thank you for purchasing these headphones.
Before using these headphones, please read through
these operating instructions to ensure that you will use
the headphones correctly.
Caution!
•Never use the headphones while driving a car, riding a motorcycle or
bicycle or operating any other vehicle.
•Do not use the headphones in places where the inability to hear
ambient sound presents a serious risk (such as at railroad crossings,
train stations, construction sites or on roads where vehicles and
bicycles are traveling).
•This product effectively shields external sound, so you may not hear
sound around you clearly while wearing the headphones. Adjust the
volume to a level where you can still hear background sound and
constantly check safety around you while listening to music.
•Store the earpieces out of the reach of small children.
•If you begin to feel unwell while using this product, please
discontinue use immediately.
•To prevent damage to your hearing, do not raise the volume too high.
Listening to loud sound for an extended period may cause temporary
or permanent hearing loss.
•Discontinue use if skin irritation results from direct contact with the
product.
•Do not disassemble, modify or attempt to repair the headphones.
•When removing the headphones from your ears, check to make sure
the earpieces are still attached to the main unit. If the earpieces
become lodged in your ears and you are unable to remove them,
consult a physician at once.
•The earphones are designed to plug your ear cavities. If you feel any
discomfort, temporarily discontinue use. Wearing the supplied ear
pads may help alleviate discomfort.
•To ensure compatibility and correct usage, always consult the user
manual of any device before connecting the headphones to it.
•On public transport systems or in other public places, keep the volume
low so as not to disturb other people.
•Please minimize the volume on your audio device before connecting
the headphones in order to avoid hearing damage from sudden
exposure to excessive volume.
•When using this product in a dry environment, you may feel a tingling
sensation in your ears. This is caused by static electricity accumulated
on your body, not by a headphone malfunction.
•Do not subject the headphones to strong impact.
•Do not store the headphones under direct sunlight, near heating
devices or in a hot, humid or dusty place. Do not allow the
headphones to get wet.
•When this product is used for a long time, the headphones may
become discolored due to ultraviolet light (especially direct sunlight)
or wear.
•The cord may become caught or severed if product is placed in a bag
or pocket without adequate protection. Always store the product in
the included pouch.
•Connect/disconnect the cord by holding the plug. Pulling directly on
the cord can result in a broken wire and the risk of electric shock.
•Do not wind the cord around your portable audio device. This may
damage or sever the cord.
•Audio-Technica will not be liable in any way for any loss of data in the
unlikely event that such losses should occur while using this product.
•Lengthening the headphone cord requires a separate extension cord
available from your dealer.

1) Turn the volume of the device to the minimum level,
and connect the cord to the headphone jack of the
device.
2) Please make sure to position the earpieces
correctly. (Left / Right position)
3) Play audio on the connected device and adjust the
volume to the desired level.

Microphone
Get into the habit of regularly cleaning your
headphones to ensure that they will last for a long
time. Do not use alcohol, paint thinners or other
solvents for cleaning purposes.
lMain unit
Wipe the main unit with a dry cloth. Foreign matter
can accumulate within the earpiece attachment.
Continued use while dirty can cause the earpiece to
detach easily. Wipe the dirt away periodically. Avoid
touching the sensitive port that emits sound; doing so
can cause breakage or malfunction.
lCord
Wipe your cord with a dry cloth after use if there is
sweat or other dirt. Using an uncleaned cord
continuously will deteriorate and harden the cord,
resulting in headphone malfunction.
lPlug
Wipe your plug with a dry cloth if dirty. Using the plug
without cleaning it can cause sound skipping or
distortion.
nSizes of earpieces
Silicone earpieces of 4 sizes (XS, S, M, and L) are
included in this product. The M-size earpieces are
attached to the product at time of purchase. To enjoy
the best sound quality and comfort, you should
experiment with the size of the earpieces to nd the
best t for you. If the headphones are not properly
tted to your ears, audio quality may be diminished.
nCleaning
Remove the earpieces from your headphones and
wash them by hand with a mild cleanser mixed with
water. Air dry thoroughly before use.
nReplacing earpieces
Remove the worn-out earpieces. Turn the new
earpiece inside-out and position it diagonally, pushing it
rmly onto the headphone until it seats securely
around the groove on the shaft.
* The earpiece is designed to be difcult to remove so that
it does not come off inadvertently.
