Lesen Sie die Anleitung. Alle Anwendungshinweise müssen vor der
Verwendung des Geräts gelesen werden.
• Kinder ab 8 Jahren, psychisch, sensorisch und körperlich eingeschränkte
Menschen dürfen das Gerät nur benutzen, wenn sie vorher von einer für
sie verantwortlichen Aufsichtsperson ausführlich mit den Funktionen und
den Sicherheitsvorkehrungen vertraut gemacht wurden und die damit

• Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung für den späteren Gebrauch auf.

Einlegen der Batterien in die Fernbedienung
Önen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel.
Setzen Sie die mitgelieferte Batterie entsprechend der im Batteriefach
angegebenen Polung ein. Schieben Sie die Batterie beim Einsetzen oder
Entfernen in Richtung der (-) Batteriepole.
Schließen Sie den Deckel.
Vorsicht
• Entfernen Sie die Batterie, wenn das Gerät über einen längeren
Zeitraum nicht benutzt wird. Dadurch werden potenzielle Schäden
durch Auslaufen der Batterie verhindert.
• Verwenden Sie keine wiederauadbare Batterie (Nickel-Cadmium-
Batterie usw.).
• Eine falsche Installation des Akkus kann zu Fehlfunktionen des Geräts
führen.
• Batterien (Akkupack oder installierte Batterien) dürfen nicht
übermäßiger Hitze wie Sonneneinstrahlung, Feuer oder ähnlichem
ausgesetzt werden.
Bedienhinweise
• Ersetzen Sie die Batterie, wenn sich der Arbeitsabstand verringert oder
der Betrieb unregelmäßig wird. Kaufen Sie eine Batterie der Größe
"AAA" (UM-4/SUM-4 Größe ähnlich).
• Reinigen Sie den Sender auf der Fernbedienung und den Sensor auf
dem Gerät regelmäßig mit einem weichen Tuch.
• Wenn der Sensor auf dem Gerät starkem Licht ausgesetzt wird, kann
der Betrieb beeinträchtigt werden. Ändern Sie in diesem Fall die
Beleuchtung oder die Ausrichtung des Geräts.
• Halten Sie die Fernbedienung von Feuchtigkeit, Hitze, Stößen und
Vibrationen fern.

ANSCHLUSS DES SYSTEMS
Netzanschluss:
Nachdem Sie überprüft haben, dass alle Verbindungen korrekt hergestellt
wurden, stecken Sie das Netzkabel dieses Geräts in die Wandsteckdose.
Hinweis:
Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose, wenn das Gerät über einen
längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt wird.
DAB/FM-Antennenanschluss
Mitgelieferte DAB/FM-Antenne:
Schließen Sie den DAB/FM-Antennendraht an die DAB/FM-Buchse an und
positionieren Sie den DAB/FM-Antennendraht in der Richtung, in der das
stärkste Signal empfangen werden kann.
Hinweis: Wenn die Antenne auf dem Gerät oder in der Nähe des Netzkabels
angebracht wird, kann es zu Störgeräuschen kommen. Stellen Sie die
Antenne für einen besseren Empfang vom Gerät entfernt auf.

MONTAGE
Wandmontage
Vorsicht
• Achten Sie bei der Wandmontage sehr sorgfältig darauf, dass das Gerät
(2,1 kg) nicht herunterfällt.
• Prüfen Sie vor der Montage die Wandstärke. (Nicht auf den Furnierputz
oder die gekalkte Wand legen, das Gerät könnte herunterfallen.)
Wenn Sie sich unsicher sind, wenden Sie sich an einen qualizierten
Servicetechniker.
• Montageschrauben werden nicht mitgeliefert. Verwenden Sie geeignete
Schrauben.
• Prüfen Sie alle Wandbefestigungsschrauben auf Lockerheit.
• Wählen Sie einen guten Standort. Andernfalls kann es zu Unfällen
kommen oder das Gerät kann beschädigt werden.

Machen Sie mit einem Bohrer ein Loch in die Wand, indem Sie den
Schraubenpunktmarkierungen auf der Papierschablone folgen.
Befestigen Sie einen Dübel zur Wandmontage mit einem Hammer in der
Bohrung, bis er bündig mit der Wandoberäche abschließt.

BEDIENUNG
Ein/Aus-Schalter - Inbetriebnahme des Sytems:
1. Drücken Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste zum Einschalten des DAB-Digitalradios.
Wenn das DAB-Digitalradio zum ersten Mal eingeschaltet wird, startet
es den DAB-Modus. Es sucht automatisch nach den verfügbaren
Radiosendern.
2. Halten Sie die Einschalttaste 2 Sekunden lang gedrückt, um den
Standby-Modus zu aktivieren.’
Fernbedienung
Tippen Sie im Aus-Modus (Standby) auf die POWER-Taste auf der
Fernbedienung, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Das Gerät schaltet sich ein.
Einstellen und Stummschalten der Lautstärke
Drehen Sie den Lautstärkeregler, um die Lautstärke zu erhöhen oder zu
verringern.
Bedienung des Equalizers
Sie können verschiedene Equalizer-Eekte wählen.
1. Halten Sie die Menü-Taste auf dem Gerät oder der Fernbedienung
gedrückt und drehen und drücken Sie das Naviationsrad um
'Systemeinstellungen' zu wählen.
2. Drehen und drücken Sie das NAVIGATE-Einstellrad auf oder verwenden
Sie die Auswahltasten auf der Fernbedienung, um den 'Equalizer'
auszuwählen.
3. Drücken Sie die OK-Taste auf dem Gerät oder der Fernbedienung, um

Wenn Sie einen DAB- oder FM-Radiosender hören, können Sie die
Informationen ändern, die auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt werden.
Digitales Radio
Wenn Sie Digitalradio hören, drücken Sie die INFO-Taste auf dem
Gerät oder der Fernbedienung, um die auf dem Bildschirm angezeigten
Informationen zwischen Lauftext, Programmtyp, Ensemble, Kanal/Frequenz,
Signalstärke/Fehler, Bitrate oder Datum zu wechseln.
Wenn Sie Digitalradio hören, können Sie auch die OK-Taste drücken,
um die Anzeige umzuschalten und den Bildschirm "Now playing",
eine Vollbildschirmversion der Radiosendervorlage und einen
Bildschirm mit Informationen über die Sendung, die zusammen mit der
Radiosendervorlage ausgestrahlt wird, anzuzeigen.
FM-Radio
Wenn Sie FM-Radio hören, drücken Sie die INFO-Taste auf dem Gerät oder

DAB/FM-RADIO
Wechseln digitaler DAB-Sender
1. Drücken Sie die MODE-Taste auf dem Gerät oder der Fernbedienung,
drehen und drücken Sie das NAVIGATE-Einstellrad, um 'DAB-Radio' auf
dem Startbildschirm auszuwählen. Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal DAB-Radio
wählen, führt DAB einen automatischen Sendersuchlauf durch, um alle
verfügbaren Sender zu nden, und stellt nach Abschluss des Suchlaufs
einen Sender ein.

Manuelle Sendersuche
Drehen Sie den NAVIGATE-Drehregler nach rechts oder links oder drücken
Sie die TUNE- oder TUNE-Tasten auf der Frontplatte, um 0,05 MHz nach
oben oder unten zu gehen. Wenn Sie die Fernbedienung verwenden,
drücken Sie die Tasten TUNE ‹ › oder TUNE , um um 0,05 MHz vor oder
zurück zu gehen.
AUTO Scan
Sie können die Suchfunktion (Auto-Abstimmung) verwenden, um
automatisch nach neuen digitalen Radiosendern zu suchen und inaktive
Sender zu entfernen.
So führen Sie eine automatische Sendersuche durch:
Drücken Sie die Taste SCAN auf dem Gerät oder auf der Fernbedienung,
um 'Scan' zu wählen. Die Anzahl der gefundenen Sender wird während
des automatischen Abstimmens angezeigt. Wenn die automatische
Sendersuche beendet ist, wird der letzte Sender, den Sie gehört haben,
eingestellt. Wenn der letzte Sender, den Sie gehört haben, nicht mehr
verfügbar ist, wird der erste Sender in der alphabetischen Liste eingestellt.
Einen Sender auf einem Programmplatz speichern
Sie können bis zu 30 DAB-, 30 UKW-Sender für den schnellen Zugri
speichern.

So speichern Sie einen Sender schnell auf einer Speichertaste (1-10)
Stellen Sie den DAB- oder FM-Radiosender ein, den Sie speichern
möchten. Halten Sie eine der nummerierten Vorwahltasten (1-10) auf der
Fernbedienung zwei Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis eine Meldung erscheint,
die bestätigt, dass die Voreinstellung gespeichert wurde.
So speichern Sie einen Sender in der Voreinstellungsliste (11-30)
1. Stellen Sie den DAB- oder FM-Radiosender ein, den Sie speichern
möchten.
2. Halten Sie die Taste PROG auf dem Gerät oder der Fernbedienung
gedrückt, um die numerische Liste der gespeicherten Voreinstellungen

Sie können vorhandene Voreinstellungen überschreiben.
3. Drücken Sie die OK-Taste am Gerät oder auf der Fernbedienung, um die
Voreinstellung zu speichern
So rufen Sie eine Voreinstellung beim Hören von Digitalradio oder FM-
Radio auf
1. Um die Voreinstellungen 1 bis 10 einzustellen, drücken Sie die
entsprechend nummerierte Taste auf der Frontplatte oder auf der
Fernbedienung (1 bis 10).
2. Um mit der Fernbedienung auf die Voreinstellungen 11 bis 30
zuzugreifen, drücken Sie die Taste PROG und lassen Sie sie wieder los,
und verwenden Sie die Auswahltasten zum Scrollen und Auswählen
einer Voreinstellung.
3. Drücken Sie die OK-Taste am Gerät oder auf der Fernbedienung, um die
Voreinstellung zu speichern.
Verwendung des AUX-Eingangs
Sie können den Aux-Eingang verwenden, um beliebige Musik von Ihrem
Telefon oder Tablet abzuspielen.
Anschließen eines externen Geräts
Verbinden Sie den Line-Out- oder Kopfhöreranschluss Ihres externen Geräts
mit einem geeigneten Kabel mit der Aux-In-Buchse.

Ihrem BT-Gerät abzuspielen oder anzuhalten.
4. Drücken Sie die Taste , um den nächsten oder vorherigen Titel oder
auszuwählen.
5. Wenn Sie das auna Scala VCD mit einem anderen BT-Gerät koppeln
(verbinden) möchten, halten Sie die BT-Pairing-Taste auf der

Putting the batteries into the remote
1. Open the battery cover.
2. Insert the supplied battery according to the terminal indicated in the
battery compartment. When inserting or removing the battery, push it
towards the (–) battery terminals.
3. Close the cover.
Caution
• Remove the battery if the unit will not be used for a long period of time.
This will prevent potential damage due to battery leakage.
• Do not use rechargeable battery (nickel-cadmium battery, etc.).
• Installing the battery incorrectly may cause the unit to malfunction.
• Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to
excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the like.
Notes concerning use:
• Replace the battery if the operating distance is reduced or if the
operation becomes erratic. Purchase an “AAA” size battery (UM-4/SUM-
4 size similar).
• Periodically clean the transmitter on the remote control and the sensor
on the unit with a soft cloth.
• Exposing the sensor on the unit to strong light may interfere with
operation. Change the lighting or the direction of the unit if this occurs.
• Keep the remote control away from moisture, heat, shock, and
vibrations.

SYSTEM CONNECTIONS
Ac power connection:
After checking all the connections have been made correctly, plug the AC
power lead of this unit into the wall socket.
Note:
Unplug the AC power lead from the wall socket if the unit will not be in use
for a prolonged period of time.
DAB/FM aerial connection
Supplied DAB/FM aerial:
Connect the DAB/FM aerial wire to the DAB/FM socket and position the
DAB/FM aerial wire in the direction where the strongest signal can be
received.
Note: Placing the aerial on the unit or near the AC power lead may cause
noise pickup. Place the aerial away from the unit for better reception.

INSTALLATION
To mount the unit on the wall
CAUTION:
• Be very careful to prevent the unit 2.1 kg (4.2 bs.) from falling when
mounting on the wall.
• Before mounting, check the wall strength. (Do not put on the veneer
plaster or whitewashed wall. The unit may fall.) If unsure, consul a
qualied service technician.
• Mounting screws are not supplied. Use appropriate ones.
• Check all wall mount screws for looseness.
• Select a good location. If not, accidents may occur or the unit may get
damaged.
Driving screws: Installing the unit:
You may hang it on the wall. Use proper screws . See below for size and
type.
Installing the unit:
Fix the pattern paper to the wall in horizontal position as below.

OPERATION
Power button - Main unit operation:
1. Press the Power Button for Turn on the DAB Digital Radio . The rst
time the DAB Digital Radio is switched, it will start up DAB mode. It will
automatically scan for the available radio stations.
2. Press hold the Power Button for 2 seconds to switch ‘standby’
Remote control operation:
In O (standby) mode, tap the POWER Button on remote control to turn the
unit ON. The unit will turn on.
Adjusting and muting the volume
Turn the Volume dial to increase or decrease the volume.

Changing the information shown on screen
When listening to a DAB or FM radio station, you can change the
information that is displayed on the screen.
Digital radio
When listening to digital radio, press the Select dial to toggle the
information displayed on screen between Scrolling text, Programme type,
Ensemble, Channel / frequency, Signal strength / error, Bitrate or Date.
When listening to digital radio, you can also press the OK button to toggle
the display to show the ‘Now playing’ screen, a full screen version of the
radio station artwork and a screen that shows information about the show
that is being broadcast along with the radio station artwork.
FM radio
When listening to FM radio, press the INFO button on main unit or remote
control to toggle the information displayed on the screen between
‘Scrolling text’, ‘Programme type’, ‘Stereo/Mono’ and ‘Date’.

Changing digital DAB stations
1. Press the MODE button on main unit or remote control and turn and
press the NAVIGATE dial to select ‘DAB radio’ from the Home screen. The
rst time you select DAB radio,DAB will perform an auto tune to nd all
available stations and will tune into one when nished.
2. Press and hold the Menu button on main unit or remote control Select to
station List
3. Press the OK Button on main unit or remote control to change the
station.
Changing FM stations
Seek tuning
Press the NAVIGATE dial or the TUNE ‹ › or TUNE Button on the front panel
to seek to the next or previous FM radio station that has a strong signal. If
you are using the remote control press the TUNE or TUNE buttons on ‹ ›
the remote control to seek to the next or previous station.
Manual tuning
Turn the NAVIGATE dial right or left or press the TUNE ‹ › or TUNE buttons
on the front panel to step up or down 0.05 MHz. If you are using the remote
control press the TUNE UNE or TUNE buttons to step up or down 0.05 ‹ ›
MHz.
AUTO Scan
You can use the scan (auto tune) function to automatically scan for new
digital radio stations and remove inactive ones.
To carry out an auto tune:
Press the SCAN button on main unit or remote control to choose ‘Scan’.The
number of stations found will be displayed during the auto tune . When the
auto tune has nished, will tune to the last station that you were listening
to. If the last station you were listening to is no longer available, will tune
into the rst station in the alphabetical list.
Storing a preset
You can store up to 30 DAB and 30 FM for quick access.
To quick-store a station to a preset button (1-10)
Tune to the DAB or FM radio station you want to store. Press and hold one
of the numbered Preset buttons (1-10) on remote control for two seconds
until you see a message to conrm that the preset has been stored.

To store a station to the preset list (11-30)
1. Tune to the DAB or FM radio station you want to store.
2. Hold the PROG button on main unit or remote control to view the
numerical list of stored presets, then turn and press the NAVIGATE dial
or use the ∨ ∧ Select buttons on the remote control to choose any Preset
number between 11 and 30. You can overwrite existing presets.
3. Press the OK button on main unit or remote control to store the preset
To recall a preset when listening to digital or FM radio.
1. To tune to Presets 1 to 10, press the corresponding numbered button on
the front panel or on the remote control (1 to 10).
2. To access presets 11 to 30 using the remote control, press and release the
PROG button and use the Select buttons to scroll and select a preset.
3. Press the OK button on main unit or remote control to store the preset.
USING THE AUXILIARY INPUT
You can use the auxiliary input play any music from your phone or tablet.
Connecting an auxiliary device
Connect the line out or headphone socket of your auxiliary device to the Aux
In socket using a suitable cable.
Selecting the auxiliary input
1. Press the MODE button on main unit or remote control to select ‘Aux In’
from the Home screen.
2. On your auxiliary device, start to play the content that you selected on
your auxiliary device.
Using the bluetooth input
You can use Bluetooth to wirelessly connect to a device, such as a mobile
phone or tablet. You can then stream music from your mobile phone or
tablet through.
The rst time you connect a Bluetooth device, you need to pair them. After
you've paired a device , remembers it for the next time.
Listening to a Bluetooth device
1. Press the MODE button on main unit or remote control to select
‘Bluetooth’.
2. On your Bluetooth device auna Scala VCD, switch Bluetooth on and
connect.

3. Select your favorite song, tap the PLAY/PAUSE button on your BT device
or the PLAY/PAUSE button on the auna Scala VCD to play or pause the
song from your Bluetooth device.
4. Press the Button or Button to select the Next or Previous track.
5. If you want to pair (link) the auna Scala VCD with another Bluetooth
device, press and hold the BT Pair Button on the remote control a few
seconds. The “connected” will ash. The auna Scala VCD will go into
Pairing/Discoverable mode. Repeat steps 3 & 4
Note: For more information, see your Bluetooth device's user manual. If you
are asked to enter a passcode, enter 0000.
Disconnecting a BT device
To disconnect a BT device, do one of the following:
• Press MODE to switch to digital radio or FM radio.
• Switch o Bluetooth on the connected device.
CD OPERATION
Loading and Playing CD Disc
1. Press the MODE button on main unit or remote control to select to CD
mode.
2. Place an audio CD on the center spindle with its label side facing out
towards the CD DOOR,Close the disc compartment.
Play/Pause Control
To pause playback press the CD PLAY/PAUSE button. Press the PLAY/PAUSE
button again to resume playback.
Stop Control
To stop playback press the STOP button.
Skip Track: During playback press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to
search to the previous or next track.
Direct Select Track: Press the numeric buttons [1], [2], …, [0] to directly
select the desired track to play. For example when the button [3] is pressed
and then follow by pressing the OK button, it will jump to track 3 to play.
Or when the button [1] and then button [2] are pressed and then follow by
pressing the OK button, it will jump to track 12 to play.

High-Speed Music Search
During playback press & hold the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to start high-
speed searching.
When you release the PREVIOUS or NEXT button normal speed playback
will resume.
Repeat Playing
You can use the setting to repeat the track that is currently playing or the
entire CD. To change the ‘Repeat’ setting:
1. Press the buttons on the remote control to select one of the following
repeat options:
Repeat one: Select this option if you want to repeat the track that is
currently playing.
Repeat all: Select this option if you want to repeat the entire CD.
Normal: Select this option if you don’t want to repeat any tracks or the
entire CD.
Random Play
During playback press the button on the remote control to choose
‘Shule’. to play music in random order. The display will show . Press the
button again to resume normal playback.
Programmed Playback
This unit can be programmed to play a sequence of tracks selected.
1. Insert a disc and in stop mode press the PROG button. “P-01” is shown
with “01” ashing in “T-01” shown.
2. Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to select the desired track.
3. Press the OK button to save the desired track.
4. Repeat steps 2-4 to program up to 99 programmed tracks.
5. Press the CD PLAY/PAUSE button to play according to the programmed
track.
6. To clear the program play, press the STOP button twice or change to
another mode.
7. During program play you can also do the “Repeat One” or “Repeat All”
operation. But during the program play, random play is not supported.
ID3 Tag Display (MP3 le only in which the ID3 Tag information is included)
Press the INFO button will toggle the ID3 Tag display on/o. When it is on,
the MP3 track’s title, artist and album details will be displayed.

SETTING CLOCK AND ALARM
Setting an alarm
1. Press and hold the Menu button on main unit or remote control and turn
and press the Select dial to select ‘Main Menu’.
2. Press Select to turn ‘Alarm’ to ‘On’.
3. Turn and press the Select dial to change the ‘Frequency’.
4. Select ‘Wake Up time’ by turning and pressing the Select dial, turn the
dial to adjust the hours and minutes, pressing Select to conrm each
section.
5. Turn and press the Select dial to select ‘Source’. Turn and press the
Select dial to choose between ‘Digital Radio’, ‘FM’, ‘CD’ or ‘USB’, then
press the Select dial to conrm.
6. If you’ve chosen ‘Digital Radio’ or ‘FM’ radio, turn and press the Select
dial to select ‘Preset’. To play the station you last listened to, turn and

press the Select dial to select ‘Last listened’ or turn and press the Select
dial to choose a radio station from the preset list.
Note: Skip this step if you are setting a Tone alarm.
7. Turn and press the Select dial to select ‘Duration’. Turn and press the
Select to set the duration that the alarm will sound in minutes.
8. Turn and press the Select dial to select ‘Volume’. Turn and press the
Select the dial to set the volume of the alarm.
Sleep function
This function allows you to program the unit to turn to standby mode by
itself after a set period of time.
1. Press and hold the Menu button on main unit or remote control and turn
and press the Select dial to select ‘Main Menu’.
2. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE or use the Select buttons on the
remote control to select ‘SLEEP’ .
3. To activate the sleep function, press the Select NAVIGATE or use the
Select buttons on the remote control to repeatedly. The time will
change in the below sequence on every press: Sleep o-15mins - 30mins
- 45mins - 60mins - 90 mins
Time and date settings
The clock will automatically set itself using your digital audio or FM radio
signal. If the time or date does not update automatically, you can manually
set it using this option.
Note: Any time or date updates received by a digital broadcast will override
manual settings.
Setting the time and date manually
1. Press and hold the Menu button to view the main menu.
2. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to select ‘System settings’ > ‘Time/
Date’.
3. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to choose ‘Set Time/Date’.
4. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to set the day of the month. Repeat
to set the month and year.
5. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to set the hour. Repeat to adjust the
minutes.
Note: If you have set the time format to 12 hour time format, make sure that
you select the ‘AM’ or ‘PM’ version of the hour before pressing the Select
NAVIGATE.

Time and date synchronization options
You can synchronize the time and date on the FM, or digital radio signal.
To specify the clock synchronization options:
1. Press and hold the Menu button to view the main menu.
2. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to select ‘System settings’ > ‘Time/
Date’.
3. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to choose ‘from any’.
4. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to choose between the ‘from any’
,from digital radio’, ‘from FM ’, and ‘No Update’clock synchronization
options.
Changing the time format
1. Press and hold the Menu button to view the main menu.
2. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to select ‘System settings’ > ‘Time/
Date’.
3. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to choose ‘Set format ’.
4. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to choose between ‘12’ or ‘24’
hours.
Changing the date format
1. Press and hold the Menu button on main unit or remote control and turn
and press the Select dial to select ‘Main Menu.
2. Turn and press the NAVIGATE dial to select ‘System settings’ > ‘Time/
Date’.
3. Turn and press the NAVIGATE dial to choose ‘Set date format’.
4. Turn and press the NAVIGATE dial to choose between ‘DD-MM-YYYY’
and ‘MM-DD-YYYY’.
Changing your preferred language
You can select the language for menus and options.
1. Press and hold the Menu button on main unit or remote control and turn
and press the Select dial to select ‘Main Menu’.
2. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to choose ‘System settings’ >
‘Language’.
3. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to select a menu language.
Backlight
You can adjust the duration that the screen is illuminated for and the

To adjust the duration of the screen backlight before dimming:

3. Turn and press the NAVIGATE dial to choose ‘100%’75%,50%,20%,0FF.
Dim level
1. Press and hold the Menu button on main unit or remote control and turn
and press the Select dial to select ‘Main Menu’.
2. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to choose ‘System settings’ >
‘Backlight’.
3. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to choose ‘Dim level’.
4. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to choose between ‘High’, ‘Medium’
or ‘Low’.
Carrying out a factory reset
Resetting removes all presets, stored stations, alarms and resets all other
options to default settings.
1. Press and hold the Menu button on main unit or remote control and turn
and press the Select dial to select ‘Main Menu’.
2. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to choose ‘System settings’ >
‘Factory Reset’.
3. Turn and press the Select NAVIGATE to select ‘Yes’ to reset factory
settings. Select ‘No’ if you do not want to reset to factory settings.
DAB settings
Manual tuning
To manually check the signal strength of a known channel:
1. Press and hold the Menu button on main unit or remote control and turn
and press the Select dial to select ‘Main Menu.
2. Turn and press the NAVIGATE dial to choose ‘Manual tune’.
3. Turn and press the NAVIGATE dial or use the <OK> buttons on
the remote control to choose the channel that the radio station is
broadcasting on.
4. Press the Menu button to return to the main menu.

Prune invalid
To remove inactive stations from the station list:
1. Press and hold the Menu button on main unit or remote control and turn
and press the Select dial to select ‘Main Menu.
2. Turn and press the NAVIGATE dial or use the <OK> buttons on the
remote control to choose ‘Prune invalid’.
3. Turn and press the NAVIGATE dial or use the <OK> buttons on the
remote control to choose ‘Yes’.will remove all inactive stations from the
station list.
Dynamic range control
Dynamic Range Control (DRC) is used to make quieter sounds in a digital
radio broadcast easier to hear at low volume or in a noisy environment.
Check with the broadcasters to nd out if they use DRC.
To change the DRC settings:
1. Press and hold the Menu button on main unit or remote control and turn
and press the Select dial to select ‘Main Menu..
2. Turn and press the Select dial or use the <OK> buttons on the remote
control to choose ‘DRC’.
3. Turn and press the NAVIGATE dial or use the <OK> buttons on the
remote control to choose between one of the following options:
DRC high: Applies maximum compression to the DRC level.
DRC low: Applies reduced compression to the DRC level.
DRC o: Removes DRC compression.

1. Tap the LIGHT ON/OFF button on main unit or remote control, the LED
light ON
2. Repeatedly tap the LIGHT ON/OFF button to select a LED light
brightness.The unit brightness turn 100%,70%,50%,20%.
3. Press hold LIGHT ON/OFF button long 2S on main unit or remote
control, Turns o the light.
4. Press AmbiLight COLOR button one time can change one color.(Color
options: cold white, warm white, green, blue, violett, red, orange(7
colors).
5. The color of AmbiLight showing is based on which color you stay on the
button.
Note: If the brightness is glaring, turn on room lights or turn o LED light
show.
Energy saving
Due to ErP stage 2 requirement and protect the environment, the unit will
turn o to the standby mode automatically once no music has been playing
around 15 minutes except in AUX mode. When the AUX mode is used for
more than 4 hours, the unit will switch to standby mode. 10 minutes before
entering standby mode you will be notied with “AUTO-OFF” ashing on
the display. To extend the AUX mode you can press BACK .
When the unit is power o due to ErP, you can press the STANDBY button to
turn on the unit again.
CARE OF COMPACT DISCS
Compact discs are fairly resistant to damage, however mistracking can

Insertion des piles dans la télécommande
Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment à pile.
Insérez la pile fournie en respectant la polarité indiquée dans le
compartiment à pile. Pour insérer ou retirer la pile, faites-la glisser dans le
sens des bornes (-) de la pile. Fermez le couvercle.
Attention
• Retirez la pile si l'appareil n'est pas utilisé pendant une longue période.
Cela évitera les dommages potentiels dus à une fuite.
• N'utilisez pas de pile rechargeable (pile au nickel-cadmium, etc.).
• Une mauvaise installation de la pile peut entraîner un
dysfonctionnement de l'appareil.
• Les piles (pack accu ou piles installées) ne doivent pas être exposées
à une chaleur excessive telle que la lumière directe du soleil, le feu ou
autre.
Conseils d'utilisation
• Remplacez la pile lorsque la distance de fonctionnement diminue ou
que le fonctionnement devient irrégulier. Achetez une pile de taille
"AAA" (taille UM-4 / SUM-4 similaire).
• Nettoyez régulièrement l'émetteur de la télécommande et le capteur de
l'appareil avec un chion doux.

Branchement sur le secteur :

Branchement de l'antenne DAB/FM
Antenne DAB/FM fournie : Branchez le l d'antenne DAB / FM à la prise

signal le plus fort possible.
Remarque : Si l'antenne est placée sur le dessus de l'appareil ou à proximité
du cordon d'alimentation, cela peut provoquer du bruit. Éloignez l'antenne
de l'appareil pour une meilleure réception.

Attention
• Lors du montage de l'appareil sur le mur, faites attention à ne pas le
faire tomber (2,1 kg).
• Vériez l'épaisseur de la paroi avant le montage. (Ne le placez pas sur
le plâtre de placage ou sur un mur chaulé, l'appareil pourrait tomber). Si

• Les vis de montage ne sont pas fournies. Utilisez des vis adaptées.

UTILISATION
Interrupteur de marche/arrêt - mise en marche de la chaîne :
1. Appuyez sur le bouton Marche / Arrêt pour allumer la radio numérique
DAB. Lorsque vous allumez la radio numérique DAB pour la première
fois, elle démarre en mode DAB et recherche automatiquement les
stations de radio disponibles.
2. Appuyez et maintenez le bouton d'alimentation pendant 2 secondes
pour passer en mode veille.

Lors de l'écoute d'une station de radio DAB ou FM, vous pouvez modier les
informations qui s'aichent à l'écran.
Radio numérique
Lorsque vous écoutez la radio numérique, appuyez sur INFO sur l'appareil
ou la télécommande pour faire basculer les informations aichées à
l'écran entre le texte délant, le type de programme, l'ensemble, le canal /
fréquence, la force / erreur du signal, le débit binaire ou la date.
Lorsque vous écoutez la radio numérique, vous pouvez également appuyer
sur OK pour basculer l'aichage et aicher l'écran Lecture en cours, une
version plein écran du modèle de station de radio et un écran aichant des

Recherche manuelle de stations
Tournez la commande NAVIGATE vers la droite ou la gauche ou appuyez
sur TUNE+ ou TUNE- du panneau avant pour monter ou descendre de 0,05
MHz. Si vous utilisez la télécommande, appuyez sur TUNE ‹ ou TUNE › pour
avancer ou reculer de 0,05 MHz.
AUTO Scan
Utilisez la fonction de recherche (recherche automatique) pour rechercher
automatiquement de nouvelles stations de radio numériques et supprimer
les stations inactives.
Comment eectuer une recherche automatique de stations :
Appuyez sur SCAN sur l'appareil ou la télécommande pour sélectionner
Scan. Le nombre de stations trouvées s'aiche pendant la recherche
automatique. Lorsque la recherche automatique des stations est terminée,
la dernière station écoutée sera réglée. Si la dernière station que vous avez
écoutée n'est plus disponible, la première station de la liste alphabétique
sera réglée.
Enregistrer une station sur un emplacement de programme
Vous pouvez enregistrer jusqu'à 30 stations de radio DAB, 30 FM et 30
stations de radio Internet pour un accès rapide.
Pour mémoriser rapidement une station sur une touche de préréglage (1-10)
réglez la station radio DAB, FM ou Internet que vous souhaitez mémoriser.

1. Pour écouter les préréglages 1 à 10, appuyez sur la touche numérotée

Vous pouvez utiliser BT pour vous connecter sans l à un appareil tel qu'un

La première fois que vous vous connectez à un appareil BT, vous devez le
coupler. Une fois jumelé, l'appareil sera mémorisé pour la prochaine fois.
Écoute d'un appareil BT
1. Appuyez sur MODE sur l'appareil ou la télécommande pour sélectionner
BT.
2. Allumez AUNA Scala VCD-IR BT sur votre appareil BT et établissez une
connexion.
3. Choisissez votre titre préféré, appuyez sur sur votre appareil BT ou sur ⏯
l'AUNA Scala pour lire ou mettre en pause la piste depuis votre appareil
BT.
4. Appuyez sur la touche ou ⏮ ⏭ pour sélectionner le titre suivant ou
précédent.
5. Si vous souhaitez coupler (connecter) l'AUNA Scala VCD-IR avec un autre
appareil BT, maintenez le bouton de couplage BT de la télécommande
pendant quelques secondes. Le témoin "connecté" clignote. L'AUNA
Scala VCD-IR passe en mode d'appairage / détection. Répétez les étapes
3 et 4.
Remarque : Vous trouverez de plus amples informations dans le manuel
d'utilisation de votre appareil BT. Si vous êtes invité à entrer un mot de
passe, entrez 0000.
Pour déconnecter un appareil BT
Pour vous déconnecter d'un appareil BT, eectuez l'une des opérations

Insertion et lecture d'un CD
1. Appuyez sur MODE sur l'appareil ou la télécommande pour sélectionner
le mode CD.
2. Placez un CD audio sur l'axe central avec l'étiquette tournée vers
l'extérieur vers le plateau de CD et fermez le compartiment de CD.
Lecture / Pause
Pour interrompre la lecture, appuyez sur la touche CD PLAY / PAUSE. Pour
reprendre la lecture, appuyez à nouveau.
Stop
Pour arrêter la lecture, appuyez sur STOP.
Saut de pistes : pendant la lecture, appuyez sur la touche - ou pour ⏮ ⏭
rechercher la piste précédente ou suivante.
Sélection directe d'une piste : Appuyez sur les touches numériques [1], [2],
.., [0] pour sélectionner directement la piste que vous souhaitez lire. Si vous
appuyez par exemple sur [3] puis sur OK, l'appareil lit la piste 3. Si vous
appuyez sur [1] puis sur [2] puis sur OK, le programme passe à la piste 12
pour lire ce titre.
Recherche rapide
Pendant la lecture, maintenez la touche ou pour lancer la recherche ⏮ ⏭
rapide.
Lorsque vous relâchez , la lecture reprend à vitesse normale⏮ ⏭ ou
Répétition de la lecture
Ce réglage vous permet de répéter la piste en cours de lecture ou tout le
CD. Pour modier le paramètre de répétition, appuyez sur la touche de la
télécommande pour sélectionner l'une des options de répétition suivantes :
• Répéter une piste : sélectionnez cette option si vous souhaitez répéter
la piste en cours de lecture.

Cet appareil peut être programmé pour lire une série de pistes
sélectionnées.

2. Appuyez sur ou pour sélectionner le titre souhaité.
3. Appuyez sur OK pour enregistrer le titre souhaité.

Réglage d'une alarme
1. Appuyez sur la touche Menu de l'unité principale ou de la télécommande

2. Appuyez sur le sélecteur pour régler Alarme sur Oui.
3. Tournez et appuyez sur la molette pour changer la "fréquence".

Dynamic Range Control
Le contrôle de la plage dynamique (DRC) sert à renforcer les sons plus

Pour modier les paramètres de la RDC :
1. Appuyez sur la touche MENU de la télécommande ou appuyez et

Réglages de l'eet d'éclairage
• Appuyez sur LIGHT ON / OFF de l'appareil ou de la télécommande, le
voyant LED s'allume
• Appuyez à plusieurs reprises sur LIGHT ON / OFF pour allumer une LED
• Sélectionnez la luminosité de l'éclairage. La luminosité de l'appareil est
réglée sur 100%, 70%, 50%, 20%.
• Appuyez et maintenez LIGHT ON / OFF sur l'appareil ou la
télécommande pendant 2 secondes pour éteindre la lumière.
• Appuyez une fois sur AmbiLight COLOR pour changer une couleur.
Options de couleur : blanc froid, blanc chaud, vert, bleu, violet, rouge,
orange (7 couleurs).
• La couleur de l'écran AmbiLight dépend de la couleur que vous gardez
sur le bouton.
• Remarque : lorsque la luminosité est forte, allumez la lumière dans la

Fonction d'économie d'énergie
En raison de l'exigence de niveau ErP 2 et pour la protection de
l'environnement, l'appareil passe automatiquement en mode veille si
aucune musique n'a été lue pendant environ 15 minutes, sauf en mode AUX.
Si le mode AUX est utilisé pendant plus de 4 heures, l'appareil passe en
mode veille. 10 minutes avant d'entrer en mode veille, vous en serez averti
par le clignotement "AUTO-OFF" sur l'aichage. Pour prolonger le mode
AUX, vous pouvez appuyer sur RANDOM. Si l'appareil s'éteint pour cause
d'ErP, vous pouvez appuyer sur STANDBY pour le rallumer.
ENTRETIEN DES CD
Les disques compacts sont assez résistants aux dommages, mais des
problèmes d'alimentation peuvent se produire en raison de l'accumulation
de saleté sur la surface du disque. Pour tirer le meilleur parti de votre
bibliothèque de CD et de votre lecteur de CD, suivez ces instructions.
• N'écrivez pas sur les deux faces du disque, en particulier sur la face sans
étiquette à partir de laquelle les signaux sont lus. Ne marquez pas cette
surface.
• Gardez vos disques à l'abri de la lumière directe du soleil, de la chaleur

• Sustituya la pila cuando se reduzca la distancia de trabajo o el
funcionamiento sea irregular. Compre una pila del tamaño "AAA" (UM-
4/SUM-4 o tamaño similar).
• Limpie el transmisor del mando a distancia y el sensor del aparato con
frecuencia con un paño suave.
• Si el sensor del aparato se ve expuesto a una luz intensa, el
funcionamiento puede verse afectado. En este caso, modique la
iluminación o la orientación del aparato.
• Mantenga el mando a distancia alejado de la humedad, el calor y las
vibraciones.

MONTAJE
Montaje en pared
Atención
• Durante el montaje en pared, asegúrese de que el aparato (2,1 kg) no se
caiga.
• Compruebe la solidez de la pared antes de realizar el montaje. (No
colocar en paredes encaladas o con paneles de yeso, el aparato podría
caerse). Si tiene alguna duda, contacte con un técnico de servicio
cualicado.
• Los tornillos de montaje no están incluidos. Utilice los tornillos
adecuados.
• Compruebe que los tornillos de jación no estén ojos.
• Seleccione un emplazamiento óptimo. De lo contrario, pueden
producirse accidentes o el aparato se puede dañar.

Puede colgar el aparato de la pared. Utilice los tornillos adecuados.
Consulte el tamaño y el tipo a continuación.

Visualización del menú

Entrada BT
Puede utilizar el BT para establecer una conexión inalámbrica con un
aparato, como un teléfono móvil o tableta. Posteriormente, podrá transferir
música desde su teléfono o tableta mediante el streaming.
Si establece por primera vez la conexión con un dispositivo BT, es necesario
sincronizarlo. Una vez esté sincronizado, el ajuste se memorizará para la
próxima vez.
Escuchar desde un dispositivo BT
1. Pulse el botón MODE del aparato o del mando a distancia para elegir
"BT".
2. Encienda su dispositivo BT AUNA Scala VCD-IR BT y establezca la
conexión.
3. Seleccione su música favorita, toque el botón en su dispositivo BT o ⏯
el botón X del Auna Scala para reproducir o detener una pista desde su
dispositivo BT.
4. Pulse el botón o para seleccionar la pista anterior o siguiente.⏮ ⏭
5. Si desea sincronizar el AUNA Scala VCD-IR con otro dispositivo BT
(conectar), mantenga pulsado el botón de sincronización BT en el
mando a distancia durante unos segundos. El "conectado" parpadea. El
AUNA Scala VCD-IR entra en modo sincronización/detección. Repita los
pasos 3 y 4.
Nota: Puede encontrar más información en el manual de usuario de su
dispositivo BT. Si se te pide que introduzcas una contraseña, introduce
0000.
Cancelar la conexión con un dispositivo BT
Para cancelar la conexión con un dispositivo BT, realice los siguientes
pasos:
• Pulse MODE para elegir entre radio digital y radio FM.
• Desactive el BT del aparato conectado.
