find a description on how to use your in-ear head-
phones.
Safety inructions
• Read these operating inructions carefully and
completely before using the product.
• Do not use the product when it is damaged.
• beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG will not be liable if
any damage, injury or accident occurs due to
negligent, incorrect or inappropriate operation of
the product.
Avoid damage to your health and accidents
• When you connect the in-ear headphones,
please make sure that the volume level is set to
minimum. Adju the volume level only aer
inseing the eaips. To avoid possible hearing
damage, do not use your in-ear headphones for
extended periods of time at high volume. The
ability to hear your own voice while liening and
speaking normally with in-ear headphones can
serve as a measure of correct volume adju-
ment. In-ear headphones can be up to 6-9 dB
louder than classic headphones because they
are directly in the ear canal, increasing the risk of
hearing damage.
• If you suer from tinnitus, do not use headphones
or reduce the volume.
• Always ensure an adequate volume level. It is
advisable to keep liening times as sho as
possible at high volume levels. This also shows an
example from working life: According to the
Occupational Health and Safety Regulations of
German trade associations, noise pollution e.g. in

the workplace mu not exceed 85 dB (room
volume level) during a maximum permissible
liening time of 8 hours. If the volume level is
increased by 3 dB respectively, the permissible
liening time is cut in half, i.e. at 88 dB, the
liening time is 4 hours, at 91 dB 2 hours, etc.
• When using in-ear headphones, it is impoant to
clean the eaips, as they quickly become diy
and increase the risk of ear infection due to an
increased number of germs in the ear. Since the
in-ear devices isolate the ear canal, a warm and
humid “climate” is created in the ear increasing
the multiplication of germs.
• Keep small pas such as product, packaging and
accessories away from children and pets.
Accidental ingeion may cause suocation.
Danger to life!
• In-ear headphones draically reduce perception
of external sounds. Using headphones in road
traic can be potentially dangerous. The user’s
hearing mu not be impaired to the extent that it
causes road safety risks. Please also make sure
that you do not use the headphones in traic,
especially within an area of potentially
dangerous machines and tools.
• Fuhermore, avoid using headphones in
situations where hearing mu not be aected,
especially when crossing a railway crossing or at
a conruction site.
Risk of injury!
• Avoid sudden movements when using wired in-
ear headphones. You might seriously hu yourself
especially if you wear piercings, earrings, glasses,
etc., where the wire can get caught.

Changed acouic perception
• For many people, wearing in-ear headphones
needs getting used to, because acouic
perception of their own voice and of the body as
well as inner ear sounds which occur while
walking dier from the “normal” situation without
in-ear headphones. However, this initially range
sensation usually diminishes aer wearing them
for a while.

Compatibility playback device
The headphone cable has a remote control with
three buttons and one microphone.
You can use this remote control to control calls,
media playback and volume adjument on
compatible smaphones and tablets.
This requires that the pinout of the headphone jack
on the playback device meets the CTIA andard.
Only in this case are the functions described below
possible.
Connect the cable to the playback device.
How to set the volume
•Increase volume

to increase the volume by
one ep.
•Reduce volume
Briefly press the - button 햵
to reduce the volume.
Note
Please note that not every smaphone or tablet
features this function. A built-in jack socket is
required. On smaphones and tablets with an
Android syem, it is necessary that the playback
device suppos the so-called Wired Audio Headset

Disposal
This symbol on the product, in the
instructions or on the packaging means
that your electrical and electronic
equipment should be disposed at the
end of its life separately from your
household waste. There are separate

Maintenance
• To clean all pas of the in-ear headphones, use
a so cloth moiened with an alcohol cleaner.
Make sure that no liquid penetrates the housing
or flows into the transducer.
• Do not use cleaners that contain solvents as
they may damage the suace.
• Allow the cerumen protection to dry completely
before inseing it back into the earphone noz-
zle.

6-9 dB lauter werden als klassische Kopfhörer, da
sie direkt im Gehörgang liegen, was das Risiko auf
Gehörschäden erhöht.
• Sollten Sie an Tinnitus leiden verzichten Sie besser
auf den Gebrauch von In-Ear-Kopfhörern bzw.
reduzieren Sie die Lautärke.
• Achten Sie ets auf eine angemessene Laut-
ärke. Als Fauformel gilt: je höher die Laut-
ärke, deo kürzer die Hörzeit. Das zeigt auch
ein Beispiel aus dem Arbeitsleben: Gemäß der
Berufsgenossenschalichen Vorschri für Sicher-
heit und Gesundheit bei der Arbeit BGV B3 da
die Lärmbelaung z.B. am Arbeitsplatz 85 dB
(Zimmerlautärke) nicht überschreiten bei einer
maximal zulässigen Hörzeit von 8 Stunden. Wird
die Lautärke jeweils um 3 dB erhöht, halbie
sich die zulässige Hörzeit, d.h. bei 88 dB beträgt
die Hörzeit 4 Stunden, bei 91 dB
2 Stunden usw.
• Wichtig bei In-Ear-Kopfhörern i die Säuberung
der Ohrpassücke, da diese schnell schmutzig
werden und durch einen erhöhten Keimpegel im
Ohr das Risiko auf eine Gehörgangsinfektion
eigern. Da die In-Ear-Geräte den Gehörgang
isolieren, bildet sich im Ohr ein feuchtwarmes
„Klima“, wodurch die Vermehrung der Keime
aneigt.
• Halten Sie Kleinteile wie Produkt-, Verpackungs-
und Zubehöeile von Kindern und Hauieren
fern. Beim versehentlichen Verschlucken beeht
Erickungsgefahr.
Lebensgefahr!
• In-Ear-Kopfhörer reduzieren die akuische
Außenwahrnehmung draisch. Die Verwendung
von In-Ear-Kopfhörern im Straßenverkehr birgt
großes Gefährdungspotenzial. Das Gehör des
Benutzers da auf keinen Fall so ark beein-

trächtigt werden, dass die Verkehrssicherheit
gefährdet i. Bitte achten Sie zudem darauf, dass
Sie die In-Ear-Kopfhörer nicht im Aktionsbereich
von möglicherweise gefährlichen Maschinen und
Arbeitsgeräten verwenden.
• Vermeiden Sie außerdem den Gebrauch von In-
Ear-Kopfhörern in Situationen, in denen das
Hörvermögen nicht beeinträchtigt werden da,
insbesondere beim Überqueren eines Bahnüber-
gangs oder auf einer Bauelle.
Verletzungsgefahr!
• Bei kabelgebundenen In-Ear-Kopfhörern sollten
Sie heige Bewegungen vermeiden. Sie könnten
sich ernha verletzen, insbesondere, wenn Sie
Piercings, Ohrringe, Brille usw. tragen, an denen
das Kabel sich veangen kann
Verändee akuische Wahrnehmung
• Für viele Menschen i das Tragen von In-Ear-

Ohrpassücke auswählen / wechseln
Im Lieferumfang des In-Ear-Kopfhörers befinden sich
mehrere Ohrpassücke in verschiedenen Größen.
Standardmäßig i die Größe M bei Auslieferung
montie. Wählen Sie die für Sie passenden Ohrpass-
ücke aus, um einen bequemen und sicheren Sitz,
gute Außengeräuschdämpfung und einen möglich
guten Klang zu erreichen.
• Ziehen Sie das Ohr-
passück vorsichtig
vom Ohrhörer ab.
• Schmutzige Schal-
lönungen können
Sie durch Enernen
des Cerumen-
Schutzes reinigen.
Achten Sie darauf,
dass keine Flüssigkeit
in die Schallönung
läu.
• Befeigen Sie das
neue Ohrpassück
am Ohrhörer nach-
dem Sie den Ceru-
men-Schutz wieder in
die Schallönung
eingesetzt haben.
• Bei regelmäßigem
Gebrauch empfehlen
wir, die Ohrpass-
ücke alle 3 Monate
zu wechseln.
