1. Important safety issues

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above

and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or

lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision

or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and

understand the hazards involved.

• Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload the

appliance provided that they have been properly instructed.

• Children of less than 3 years of age should be kept away from the

appliance unless continuously supervised

1.1 Safe installation

1.1.1 WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock

Incorrect installation is dangerous.

• Connect and operate the appliance only in accordance with the

specifications on the rating plate.

• Connect the appliance to a power supply with alternating current only via a

properly installed socket with earthing.

• The protective conductor system of the domestic electrical installation

must be properly installed.

• Never equip the appliance with an external switching device, e.g. a timer or

remote control.

• When the appliance is installed, the mains plug of the power cord must be

freely accessible. If free access is not possible, an isolating switch must

be integrated into the permanent electrical installation according to the

installation regulations.

• When installing the appliance, check that the power cable is not trapped or

damaged.

If the insulation of the power cord is damaged, this is dangerous.

• Never let the power cord come into contact with heat sources.

1.1.2 WARNING: Risk of Fire

It is dangerous to use an extended power cord and non-approved adapters.

• Do not use extension cables or multiple socket strips.

• Only use adapters and power cords approved by the manufacturer.

• If the power cord is too short and a longer one is not available, please

contact an electrician to have the domestic installation adapted.

Portable multiple socket strips or portable power supply units may overheat

and cause a fire.

• Do not place portable multiple socket strips or power supply units on the

back of the appliance

1.1.3 WARNING: Risk of explosion

If the appliance's ventilation openings are sealed, a leak in the refrigeration

circuit may result in a flammable mixture of gas and air.

• Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in

structure, clear of obstruction.

1.2 Safe use

1.2.1 WARNING: Risk of electric shock

An ingress of moisture can cause an electric shock.

• Only use the appliance in enclosed spaces.

• Never expose the appliance to intense heat or humidity.

• Do not use steam- or high-pressure cleaners to clean the appliance.

1.2.2 WARNING: Risk of suffocation

Children may put packaging material over their heads or wrap themselves up in

it and suffocate.

• Keep packaging material away from children.

• Do not let children play with packaging material.

Children may breathe in or swallow small parts, causing them to suffocate.

• Keep small parts away from children.

• Do not let children play with small parts.

If the cooling circuit is damaged, flammable refrigerant may escape and

explode.

• To accelerate the defrosting process, do not use any other mechanical

devices or means other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

• If food is stuck to the freezer compartment, loosen it with a blunt

implement such as the handle of a wooden spoon.

Products which contain flammable propellants and explosive substances may

explode, e.g. spray cans.

• Do not store products which contain flammable propellants (e.g. spray

cans) or explosive substances in the appliance.

1.2.4 WARNING: Risk of re

Electrical devices within the appliance may cause a fire, e.g. heaters or electric

ice makers.

• Do not operate electrical devices within the appliance.

1.2.5 WARNING: Risk of Injury

Injury to the eyes caused by escaping flammable refrigerant and hazardous

gases.

• Do not damage the tubes of the refrigerant circuit or the insulation.

1.3 Damaged appliance

1.3.1 WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock

If the appliance or the power cord is damaged, this is dangerous.

• Never operate a damaged appliance.

• Never pull on the power cord to unplug the appliance. Always unplug the

appliance at the mains.

• If the appliance or the power cord is damaged, immediately unplug the

power cord or switch off the fuse in the fuse box.

• Call customer services.

Incorrect repairs are dangerous.

• Repairs to the appliance should only be carried out by trained specialist

staff.

• Only use genuine spare parts when repairing the appliance.

• If the power cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, the manufacturer's Customer Service or a similarly qualified

person in order to prevent any risk

1.3.2 WARNING: Risk of Fire

If the tubes are damaged, flammable refrigerant and harmful gases may

escape and ignite.

• Keep naked flames and ignition sources away from the appliance.

• Ventilate the room

• Switch off the appliance.

• Unplug the appliance from the mains or switch off the circuit breaker in the

fuse box.

• Call after-sales service.

1.4 Environmental protection

Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with

household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check

with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice. This

appliance is marked according to the European directive on

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). By ensuring

this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent

potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which

could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product.

The symbol on the product indicates that this product may not be treated as

household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection

point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Disposal must

be carried out in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste

disposal. For more detailed information about treatment, recovery and recycling

of this product, please contact your local council, your household waste

disposal service or the retailer where you purchased the product.

CE declaration of confirmity

Hereby, Boretti B.V. declares that this appliance has been

manufactured to the standards of the CE guidelines and

directives applicable for CE conformity.

Your new wine cabinet is covered by warranty. Registration can be completed

online by visiting www.boretti.com. Spare parts are only available from Boretti

Service department and spare part authorized resellers.

2. Installation

2.1 Before use

Before connecting the wine cabinet to the power source, let it stand upright for

at least 6 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling

system from handling during transportation.

Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.

Read the instructions supplied with the appliance – failure to install or use of

the appliance in accordance with the instructions may invalidate any warranty.

Boretti does not accept any liability for damage caused through improper use,

or incorrect installation. Do not install this appliance if it has been damaged

during transportation. This includes the plug and supply cord.

Please keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.

2.2 Installation of the wine cabinet

1. Place you wine cabinet on a flat floor that is strong enough to support

it when it is fully loaded.

2. This appliance uses flammable refrigerant. Never damage the cooling

pipework during transportation and installation.

3. Locate the wine cabinet away from direct sunlight and sources of heat

(stove, heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating

and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Extreme cold

ambient temperatures may also cause the unit not to perform properly.

4. Avoid locating the unit in moist areas.

5. Put the plug of the wine cabinet into an appropriate socket. Should

the plug require changing, get help from a qualifed service technician.

6. Ensure the product is correctly ventilated (See section 1.3).

7. Plug the wine cabinet into an exclusive, properly installed-grounded wall

outlet. Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) pin

from the plug. Any questions concerning power and/or grounding should

be directed toward a certified electrician or Customer Service Boretti.

2.3 Ventilation

The MLWC82ZG and MLWC82GR is already equipped with a vent slot on the

front side. This model is also recessed to fit a kitchen plinth. If fitting a kitchen

plinth is desired, please remove the air grid by removing both screws in front.

A 55mm high vent slot is required in the plinth to ensure air is able to ventilate

properly. See the diagram below.

Failure to include this vent slot will invalidate the guarantee. Please note that

the appliance doesn’t come with a grille which slots-onto the kitchen plinth.

2.5 How to change the door opening MLWC82ZG (No handle)

Decorative nails

1. Open the door and remove the decorative nail (5) on the left side (Fig.A).

2. Remove all screws from the upper and lower hinge, and then remove the

door (Fig.A).

3. Install the door hinge removal in the lower left corner of the door, and the

lower hinge removal in the upper left corner of the door (Fig.D, E).

4. Fix the screw in the upper left corner of the case, and be careful not to

tighten it (Fig.B).

5. Put the door hinge into the screw in the upper left corner, align with the slot,

and tighten the screw to ensure that the door hinge is tight (Fig.C).

6. Install the decorative nail (5) in the upper right corner of the box (Fig.C).

2.6 How to change the door opening MLWC82GR (with handle)

1. Open the door and remove the decorative nail (2) on the left side (Fig.A)

2. Remove all screws from the upper and lower hinge, and then remove the

door (Fig.A).

3. Press the door lamp tablet (6) Remove and install it on the upper door

frame, and then rotate the door 180 degrees (Fig.D, E).

4. Fix the screw in the upper left corner of the case, and be careful not to

tighten it (Fig.B).

5. Put the door hinge into the screw in the upper left corner, align with the

slot, and tighten the screw to ensure that the door hinge is tight (Fig.C).

6. Install the decorative nail (2) in the upper right corner of the box (Fig.C).

2.7 Installing the appliance

Place you wine cabinet on a floor that is strong enough to support it when it

isfully loaded. The kitchen unit must be aligned horizontally and vertically.

You will need to install a furniture door frame to the front of the wine cabinet

once wine cabinet has been installed.

The furniture door frame can be custom made (by the kitchen reseller) to line

up with your other furniture doors in the kitchen. The door must be finished on

both sides in order to prevent warping.

Steps

1. If you want to adjust the height over 820mm, please install the product

using the foot sliders provided. These are provided to help prevent the

feetcatching on the floor when sliding the appliance into the aperture.

2. To level your wine cabinet, adjust the front and back by leveling adjustable

legs at the bottom of the cabinet (to 4mm less than the recess or handlebar

height). Ensure it’s perfectly leveled, as this will minimize any vibrations and

noises.

3. Slide in the appliance until the front surface of the appliance door is behind

the cabinet fronts. Place the furniture door frame on the cabinet to determine

the right installation depth. Please make sure when sliding in the appliance,

that the power supply cord is not damaged.

4. The included bracket will keep the product secure and help prevent it moving

when in use. Line the fixing bracket with the two holes at the top of the wine

cabinet. Use the screws to secure into position. Use the screws to secure the

bracket to the side of the kitchen cabinet.

2.8 Permitted room temperature

The permitted room temperature depends on the appliance’s climate class.

Theclimate class can be found on the rating plate.

The appliance is fully functional within the permitted room temperature. If

an appliance with climate class SN is operated at colder room temperatures,

theappliance will not be damaged up to a room temperature of 5°C.

3. Usage of product

3.1 Touch control keys and symbols

To switch the wine cabinet on/off. Press and hold this button for

approximately 1 second to turn the wine cabinet on. Press and hold

this button for approximately 3 seconds to turn the wine cabinet off.

To turn the lock function on/off. Press and hold this button for

approximately 3 seconds to activate/deactivate. When activated

thesymbol will illuminate.

+/- Press this button to raise the temperature in 1°C increments. Once the

temperature reaches the highest temperature value for the upper zone or lower

zone, it will revert back to its lowest temperature value.

Upper zone = 5 -10°C

Lower zone = 10 -18°C

Once the required temperature is selected, the LED display will temporarily flash for

5 seconds, then reverts back to the normal display, and the temperature is now set.

Note

Press and hold for 3 seconds, to change the display from °C to °F.+/-

This button is used to toggle between the different light functions.

When selected, the relevant symbol will illuminate:

The internal light will switch on when the door is opened, and

off when the door is closed.

The internal light is continuously on. However after 3 minutes

the light will dim.

The internal light will remain on for 10 minutes once the door is

closed and then turn off.

This symbol indicates the brightness adjuster: Hold the light key

for 3 seconds until flashes. Then use the keys to adjust +/-

the brightness of the internal light.

This Button is used to toggle between the different operational

functions. When selected the relevant symbol will illuminate:

Standard Mode – Select this function to operate the wine cabinet in

standard mode.

ECO Mode – An energy saving mode where both the inner light and

control panel lights are off. The LED display is also switched off, until

you change the temperature using the and keys, this will be +/- +/-

displayed for5 seconds and then switch off again. The compressor is

also delayed 5minutes in order to save energy.

Intelligent mode – In Intelligence mode, the wine cabinet will adjust the fan

speed according to the ambient temperature. This will reduce noise levels

and save money.

DEMO Mode – When Demo mode is selected, the compressor and PTC

heater will be disabled, and the fan input voltage reduces to 9V. The HI/

LO temperature alarm is also disabled during DEMO mode.

The cooling symbol will illuminate to show when the wine cabinet is

currently cooling.

The alarm symbol will illuminate to show the alarm is on. This will

activate when either the door has been left open for a long period of time,

or the temperature has ﬂuctuated too high or low (HI or LO will also show

in display to confirm this).

3.3 Bottle Staking / Loading graphics

All MLWC82 models are fitted with a charcoal filter, which ensure optimum air

quality within the appliance. The charcoal filter should be replaced every 6-9

months depending on the unit’s exposure level to odour.

1. Open the door and remove the top 2 shelves (see removing the shelves).

2. Turn the filter as per Fig . A

3. As per Fig , the filter should line up with the notches as shown. B

4. Pull filter out as per Fig. .C

5. Insert replacement filter and twist as per Fig. to lock into position. A

6. Re-install the shelves.

harmful ultraviolet rays causing discoloration to labels and unwanted reactions

The MLWC82 wine cabinet has an charcoal filter to assist in maintaining

perfect air quality which is vital for preserving and maturing wine.

1. Belangrijke veiligheidswaarschuwingen

• Dit apparaat kan worden gebruikt door kinderen van 8 jaar en ouder en

door mensen met beperkte lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of verstandelijke

vermogens of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, indien zij onder toezicht

staan of instructies hebben gekregen over het veilig gebruiken van het

apparaat en indien zij de eventuele gevaren begrijpen.

• Kinderen tussen de 3 en 8 jaar oud en personen met zware en complexe

beperkingen dienen altijd uit de buurt van het apparaat te worden

gehouden, tenzij ze voortdurend onder toezicht staan.

• Kinderen mogen zonder toezicht geen reinigings- en onderhouds-

werkzaamheden aan het apparaat uitvoeren.

1.1 Veilige installatie

1.1.1 WAARSCHUWING: Kans op elektrische schokken

Ondeskundige installaties zijn gevaarlijk.

• Het apparaat uitsluitend aansluiten en gebruiken volgens de gegevens op

het typeplaatje.

• Het apparaat uitsluitend via een volgens de voorschriften geïnstalleerd

stopcontact met randaarde op een stroomnet met wisselstroom

aansluiten.

• Het randaardesysteem van de elektrische huisinstallatie moet conform de

elektrotechnische voorschriften zijn geïnstalleerd.

• Nooit het apparaat via een externe schakelinrichting voeden, bijvoorbeeld

een tijdschakelaar of besturing op afstand.

• Wanneer het apparaat is ingebouwd, moet de netstekker van de

netaansluitkabel vrij toegankelijk zijn, of wanneer vrije toegang niet

mogelijk is, moet in de vast geplaatste elektrische installatie een

scheidingsinrichting volgens de installatievoorschriften zijn ingebouwd.

• Bij het opstellen van het apparaat erop letten dat het netsnoer niet wordt

afgeklemd of beschadigd.

1.1.2 WAARSCHUWING: Kans op brand

Het gebruik van een verlengd netsnoer en niet-toegestane adapters is

gevaarlijk.

• Geen verlengsnoeren of meervoudige stopcontacten gebruiken.

• Alleen door de fabrikant goedgekeurde adapters en netsnoeren gebruiken.

• Wanneer het netsnoer te kort is en er geen langer netsnoer beschikbaar is,

neem dan contact op met een elektrospeciaalzaak om de huisinstallatie

aan te passen.

Draagbare mobiele meervoudige stopcontacten of draagbare netvoedingen

kunnen oververhit raken en tot brand leiden.

• Draagbare mobiele meervoudige stopcontacten of draagbare netvoedingen

niet aan de achterkant van de apparaten plaatsen.

1.1.3 WAARSCHUWING: Kans op explosie

Wanneer de ventilatie-openingen van het apparaat zijn gesloten dan kan bij een

lek van het koude circuit een brandbaar gas-luchtmengsel ontstaan.

• Sluit ventilatie-openingen in de behuizing van het apparaat of in de

inbouwbehuizing niet af.

1.2 Veilig gebruik

1.2.1 WAARSCHUWING - Kans op elektrische schok

Binnendringend vocht kan een elektrische schok veroorzaken.

• Gebruik het apparaat alleen in gesloten ruimtes.

• Stel het apparaat nooit bloot aan grote hitte en vochtigheid.

• Geen stoomreiniger of hogedrukreiniger gebruiken om het apparaat te

reinigen.

Kinderen kunnen verpakkingsmateriaal over het hoofd trekken en hierin verstrikt

raken en stikken.

• Verpakkingsmateriaal uit de buurt van kinderen houden.

Kinderen kunnen kleine onderdelen inademen of inslikken en hierdoor stikken.

• Kleine onderdelen uit de buurt van kinderen houden.

• Kinderen niet met kleine onderdelen laten spelen

1.2.3 WAARSCHUWING - Kans op explosie

Door beschadiging van de koudemiddelkringloop kan brandbaar koudemiddel

lekken en exploderen.

• Gebruik voor het versnellen van het ontdooien geen andere mechanische

inrichtingen of andere middelen dan diegene die door de fabrikant zijn

aanbevolen.

• Maak vastgevroren levensmiddelen met een stomp voorwerp los, bijv. met

een steel van een houten lepel.

Producten met brandbare drijfgassen en explosieve stoffen kunnen exploderen,

bijv. spuitbussen.

• Bewaar geen producten met brandbare drijfgassen en explosieve stoffen in

het apparaat.

1.2.4 WAARSCHUWING - Kans op brand

Elektrische apparaten binnenin het apparaat kunnen tot een brand leiden, bijv.

verwarmingsapparaten of elektrische ijsbereiders.

• Gebruik geen elektrische apparaten binnenin het apparaat.

1.2.5 WAARSCHUWING - Kans op letsel

Letsel aan de ogen door lekkend brandbaar koudemiddel en schadelijke

gassen.

• De buizen van de koudemiddelkringloop en de isolatie niet beschadigen.

1.3 Beschadigd apparaat

1.3.1 WAARSCHUWING: Kans op elektrische schok

Een beschadigd apparaat of een beschadigd netsnoer is gevaarlijk.

• Nooit een beschadigd apparaat gebruiken.

• Nooit aan het netsnoer trekken, om het apparaat van het elektriciteitsnet te

scheiden. Altijd aan de stekker van het netsnoer trekken.

• Wanneer het apparaat of het netsnoer is beschadigd, dan direct de stekker

van het netsnoer uit het stopcontact halen of de zekering in de meterkast

uitschakelen.

• Contact opnemen met de servicedienst.

Ondeskundige reparaties zijn gevaarlijk.

• Alleen daarvoor geschoold vakpersoneel mag reparaties aan het apparaat

uitvoeren.

• Er mogen uitsluitend originele reserveonderdelen worden gebruikt voor

reparatie van het apparaat.

• Als het netsnoer van dit apparaat beschadigd raakt, moet het ter vermijding

van risico's worden vervangen door de fabrikant, de servicedienst of een

andere gekwalificeerde persoon.

1.3.2 WAARSCHUWING: Kans op brand

Bij beschadiging van de leidingen kunnen brandbaar koudemiddel en

schadelijke gassen ontsnappen en ontsteken.

• Houd vuur en ontstekingsbronnen uit de buurt van het apparaat.

• Ventileer de ruimte.

• Het apparaat uitschakelen.

• De stekker van het netsnoer uit het stopcontact trekken of de zekering in

de meterkast uitschakelen.

• Neem contact op met de service-afdeling.

1.4 Milieubescherming

Afgedankte elektrische producten mogen niet met het huisvuil

worden weggegooid. Gelieve te recyclen waar er faciliteiten

zijn. Neem contact op met uw plaatselijke overheid of winkelier

voor advies over recycling. Dit apparaat is gemarkeerd

overeenkomstig de Europese richtlijn betreffende afgedankte

elektrische en elektronische apparatuur (WEEE). Door ervoor te

zorgen dat dit product op de juiste manier wordt verwerkt, helpt

u mogelijk negatieve gevolgen voor het milieu en de menselijke gezondheid

te voorkomen, die anders worden veroorzaakt door onjuiste afvalverwerking

van dit product. Het symbool op het product geeft aan dat dit product niet als

huishoudelijk afval mag worden behandeld. In plaats daarvan moet het worden

ingeleverd bij een verzamelpunt voor recycling van elektrische en elektronische

apparatuur. Verwijdering moet worden uitgevoerd in overeenstemming met de

plaatselijke milieuvoorschriften voor afvalverwijdering. Voor nadere informatie

over de behandeling, terugwinning en recycling van dit product kunt u contact

opnemen met uw gemeente, uw afvalophaaldienst of de winkelier waar u het

product heeft gekocht.

CE-verklaring van overeenstemming

Hierbij verklaart Boretti B.V. dat dit apparaat is vervaardigd

volgens de normen van de CE-richtsnoeren en richtlijnen die

van toepassing zijn voor CE-conformiteit.

Garantie

Uw nieuwe wijnkast valt onder de garantie. Registratie kan online worden

voltooid op www.boretti.com. Reserveonderdelen zijn alleen verkrijgbaar

bij de afdeling Boretti Service en bij geautoriseerde wederverkopers met

reserveonderdelen.

2. Installatie

2.1 Vóór gebruik

Voordat u de wijnkast aansluit op de stroombron, moet u deze ten minste

6uur rechtop laten staan. Dit vermindert de mogelijkheid van een storing in

het koelsysteem als gevolg van het transport.

Reinig de binnenkant met lauw water met behulp van een zachte doek.

Lees de instructies bij het apparaat door – het niet installeren of gebruiken van

het apparaat in overeenstemming met de instructies kan de garantie ongeldig

maken.

Boretti aanvaardt geen aansprakelijkheid voor schade die veroorzaakt is

door oneigenlijk gebruik of onjuiste installatie. Installeer dit apparaat niet als

het tijdens het transport beschadigd is. Dit geldt ook voor de stekker en het

netsnoer.

Bewaar deze instructies op een veilige plaats voor toekomstig gebruik.

2.2 Installatie van de wijnkast

1. Plaats de wijnkast op een vlakke vloer die sterk genoeg is om de kast

tedragen wanneer deze volledig geladen is.

2. Dit apparaat maakt gebruik van brandbaar koudemiddel. Beschadig de

koelleidingen nooit tijdens transport en installatie.

3. Plaats de wijnkast uit de buurt van direct zonlicht en warmtebronnen

(kachel, verwarming, radiator, enz.). Direct zonlicht kan de acrylcoating

beïnvloeden en warmtebronnen kunnen het elektrische verbruik verhogen.

Extreem koude omgevingstemperaturen kunnen er ook voor zorgen dat het

toestel niet goed werkt.

4. Plaats het apparaat niet in een vochtige omgeving.

5. Steek de stekker van de wijnkast in een geschikt stopcontact. Mocht de

stekker vervangen moeten worden, neem dan contact op met een bevoegd

onderhoudstechnicus.

6. Zorg ervoor dat het product goed wordt geventileerd (zie paragraaf 1.3).

7. Sluit de wijnkast aan op een exclusief, correct geïnstalleerd geaard

stopcontact. Knip of verwijder onder geen enkele omstandigheid de derde

(geaarde) pool van de stekker. Eventuele vragen over stroom en/of aarding

moeten gericht worden aan een gecertificeerde elektricien of de afdeling

Klantenservice Boretti.

2.3 Ventilatie

De MLWC82 is al uitgerust met een ventilatiesleuf aan de voorkant. Dit model

is ook geschikt voor een keukenplint. Als u een keukenplint wilt plaatsen, moet

u het luchtrooster verwijderen door de twee schroeven aan de voorkant los

te draaien. Een 55 mm hoge ventilatiesleuf is vereist in de plint om ervoor

tezorgen dat de lucht goed kan ventileren. Zie het diagram hieronder.

Het niet toevoegen van deze ventilatiesleuf zal de garantie ongeldig maken.

Houd er rekening mee dat het apparaat niet is voorzien van een rooster dat

opde keukenplint past.

2.5 De draairichting van de deur wijzigen (greeploze variant)

1. Open de deur en verwijder de sierdopjes (5) aan de linkerkant (Fig. A)

2. Verwijder alle schroeven van het bovenste en onderste scharnier en verwijder

vervolgens de deur (Fig. A).

3. Demonteer en monteer de scharnieren door middel van de schroeven zoals

aangegeven in Afbeelding D en E.

4. Bevestig de schroef in de linkerbovenhoek van de behuizing en let erop dat je
