Safety
• This product must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from physical or
mental impairment. This product should not be used by anyone without sufficient
experience or knowledge if they have not been instructed in its use by someone
who will take responsibility for their safety.
• The product must not be used by children. Ensure that theproduct and its mains
lead are kept out of children’s reach.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Never leave theproduct unattended during use. Never attempt to put out anoil fire
with water. Unplug out thepower lead and smother thefire using afire blanket or
wet towel.
• Ensure that theproduct is used with thecorrect voltage. Refer to theproduct’s
rating plate.
• This appliance must only be used with anearthed wall socket.
• Always unplug theproduct from thewall socket before cleaning it or when it is not
to be used for along time.
• Do not open thehousing. Certain components inside thecasing carry dangerous
electrical current. Contact with these components could result in electric shock.
• Do not use theproduct if themains lead or its plug is damaged. Do not use
theproduct if you have dropped it on thefloor, left it outdoors or dropped it into water.
• Do not pull or carry theproduct by its mains lead. Do not use thelead as ahandle and
do not let it fasten in door jambs. Do not pull thelead around sharp corners or edges.
• The product becomes very hot during use. Be careful not to touch any hot parts
with your bare hands. Never touch parts of theproduct other than thehandle.
• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent therisk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by themanufacturer, qualified service
facility or qualified technician.
• Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and that theproduct is switched
off before it is connected to thepower supply.
• Make sure that thelead does not come in contact with hot surfaces such as
cooker hobs.
• This product is only intended to be used and stored indoors.
• Be careful when moving thefryer when it contains hot oil.
• Never overfill thefrying basket.
