out any maintenance, repairs or service.
Inspect thearea to be raked before
starting work. Remove any sticks,
stones or debris that could be thrown
by therotating drum from thepath
of thelawn raker. If you notice any
objects in thepath of theraker, switch
it off and remove theobjects before
continuing work.
Keep bystanders at
asafe distance.
Keep themains lead
away from therotating
cuttingblade.
Always wear approved safety
glasses/visor and hearing
protection.
Wear protective gloves.
Wear safety shoes with steel
toecaps and slip-resistant
soles.
Unplug themains lead
immediately if thecable has
become damaged.
Always work across
theface of slopes,
never up and down.
