customer for 90 days from date of retail purchase,
against defects in material and workmanship.

PRODUIT
Cette unité thermoélectrique est conçue pour être un récipient d’entreposage portatif pour les bois-
sons froides et nourriture froide. L’unité peut refroidir approximativement à 20 °C / 36 °F au-dessous
de la température ambiante, chauffe à 65 °C/149 °F par le thermostat de point de consigne. L'unité est
actionnée par un système de C.C. de 12 volts tel qu'un véhicule, ou peut être actionnée à partir d'un
système à C.A. de 110 volts.
ENTRETIEN
• La condensation devrait être enlevée régulièrement, et le gel devrait être enlevé au besoin. Avec le
soin et le nettoyage ce refroidisseur peut être employé sans interruption.
• Le moteur, le ventilateur et les fentes du panneau de commande doivent être nettoyés périodique-
ment. Lorsque l’appareil est débranché, nettoyer les pales du ventilateur et l’arbre du moteur à
l’aide d’un pinceau ou toute autre brosse àpoils doux. Enlever toute accumulation de saletés, de
poussière ou de cheveux.
• Pour le nettoyage, essuyer l’intérieur avec un linge humide tiède ou une éponge. Ne pas utiliser
des nettoyants puissants ou abrasifs. Une solution savonneuse devrait suffire mais si les odeurs
persistent, ajouter un javellisant domestique ou du bicarbonate de soude à la solution de lavage.
Laisser le couvercle ouvert pendant plusieurs heures après le nettoyage pour permettre que
l’intérieur sèche bien et pour éviter des odeurs dans la glacière.
• Pour le rangement à long terme, placer un petit contenant rempli de bicarbonate de soude ou de
charbon à l’intérieur afin d’absorber les odeurs désagréables.
MODE DE SÉLECTION
FROID - Glisser l’interrupteur à la position “COLD” (froid), l’appareil refroidira, et un voyant
lumineux verts’allumera.
ARRÊT - Glisser l’interrupteur à la position centrale, l’appareil s’arrêtera.
CHAUD - Glisser l’interrupteur à la position “HOT” (chaud), l’appareil réchauffera, et un voyant
lumineux rouge s’allumera.
AVIS IMPORTANT
• Lors d’utilisation dans l’automobile, il y aura un drain sur la batterie de la voiture, si le moteur est
arrêté.
• S’assurer que le ventilateur peut tourner en tout temps.
• Gardez 6 pouces d’espace sur chaque bord de votre glacière pour s’assurer un va et vient de
circulation d’air pour les ventilateurs.
PRODUCT
This thermoelectric unit is designed to be a portable storage container for cold drinks and cold food.
The unit can chill to approximately 20°C/36°F below ambient temperature, heats to 65°C/149°F by
set-point thermostat. The unit is powered by a 12V DC system such as a vehicle, or can be powered
from a 110V AC system.
MAINTENANCE
• Condensation should be removed regularly, and frost should be removed as required. With care
and cleaning this cooler can be used continuously.
• The motor, fan and control panel vents should be cleaned periodically. While the unit is unplugged,
clean the fan blades and motor shaft using a paint brush or other soft bristled brush. Remove all
hair, dirt, or dust that may have accumulated.
• To clean, wipe the inside with a warm damp cloth or sponge. Do not use harsh or abrasive clean-
ers. A mild soap should be sufficient, but if stains or odours remain, household bleach or baking
soda may be added to the washing solution. Keep the lid open for several hours after cleaning to
allow the interior to thoroughly dry and to prevent odours from forming in the cooler.
• For long periods of storage, a small container of baking soda or charcoal, placed inside, will elim-
inate objectionable odours.
MODE SELECTION
COLD - Move the sliding switch to “COLD", the unit will cool and a green light will be on.
OFF - Move the sliding switch to center position, the unit will be off.
HOT - Move the sliding switch to “HOT", the unit will warm and a red light will be on.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
• When using in the car, there will be a drain on the car battery if the engine is off.
• Ensure the fan is able to rotate at all times.
• Keep 6” clearance on all sides of unit to ensure air circulation to and from the fan.
