manufacturer’s recommended attachments and

• Do not use unit with damaged cord or plug. If

appliance is not working as it should, has been

dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped

into water, call customer service at 1-800-

321-1134 prior to continuing use.

• Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a

handle, close door on cord, or pull cord around

sharp edges or corners.

• Do not place product on cord.

• Do not use this fan with any solid-state speed

control device.

• Do not place the unit near sources of heat such

as stove tops, radiators, or computers.

• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug

grasp the plug, not the cord.

• Do not handle plug or unit with wet hands.

• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use

with any openings blocked; keep free of dust,

lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air ﬂow.

• Keep hair, loose clothing, ﬁngers and all parts

of body away from openings and moving parts.

• Do not use the unit in an enclosed space where

ﬂammable, combustible, or explosive gases

are present.

• Do not use without ﬁlters in place.

• Do not use in an area where toxic vapors,

ﬂammable dust or oxygen tanks are present.

Doing so may result in serious injury or death.

Check the location and make sure these

elements are not present.

• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover

cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar

coverings. Arrange cord away from trac area

and where it will not be tripped over.

• Do not block or partially block the air intake

or air exhaust grilles. Ensure that there is

adequate airﬂow around the unit.

• Unplug the cord from the outlet when not in use

or before any routine cleaning or maintenance.

Turn o all controls before unplugging.

• Keep the unit away from heaters/ﬁreplaces and

other hot objects/locations.

• Do not place any items on top of the unit or sit

on the unit.

• Never open the bottom cover while the unit is

plugged into a wall outlet.

• Keep personal and loose objects (such as jewelry,

loose ties, long hair etc.) away from unit.

• Never use compressed gas dusters, canned air,

ﬂammable or aerosol cleaners on this product.

Some cleaning agents may combust causing

serious injury and/or property damage.

• Keep children and pets away from the unit.

• Do not place open ﬂames, including candles,

directly in front of the air puriﬁer.

• Use only the supplied Dirt Devil power source

(Part No. 440015814) to power the unit.

It is important to consider the following when

deciding on where to locate the air puriﬁer:

• Position the air puriﬁer on a ﬂat, solid, stable

surface. Never place the unit on soft surfaces

such as a bed or sofa.

• Position the air puriﬁer where the dirty air is not

drawn across your head or body while sitting

or sleeping.

• Position the air puriﬁer so the plug on the

power cord reaches a standard electrical outlet.

DESKTOP AIR PURIFIER

USER MANUAL

MODEL: WD10100V

IMPORTANT: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE ASSEMBLY AND USE.

This air puriﬁer is intended for household use only. If used commercially, warranty is VOID.

OPERATION

1. Carefully remove your air puriﬁer from the

packaging box and plastic bag.

2. Remove the ﬁlter from the unit, remove the

ﬁlter element bag, and re-assemble the ﬁlter

to the unit

3. Place it on a ﬁrm, level and ﬂat area.

• For proper air ﬂow, locate the unit at least 1

foot / 30 cm away from any wall of furniture.

• Make sure none of the grilles are blocked.

4. Plug the power adapter into an appropriate

voltage AC outlet.

IMPORTANT: When moving the air puriﬁer,

always lift the unit ﬁrmly by both hands.

IMPORTANT: Remove all packaging from the

unit and ﬁlter inside before operating.

Press to turn the unit on and o

FAN

Press fan icon to adjust the speed of the fan.

LOW MEDIUM HIGH

LIGHT TOP LIGHT

BOTTOM LIGHT

Press Night Light icon to cycle through dierent

lighting options:

• All lights on: Bottom light only

• All lights o: Top light only.

TIMER

Set timer by pressing Timer icon to cycling

through the timing options:

2hr, 4hr, 8hr, 10hr, 12hr, No timer

Air puriﬁer will automatically turn o after the

set amount of time.

SLEEP MODE

Press moon icon to activate sleep mode.

Fan speed will automatically go to the lowest

setting. Night Light will turn o after 10 seconds

while activated and resume last fan speed when

deactivated.

MAINTENANCE

Best practice replace ﬁlter every 4-6 months

CHANGE FILTER INDICATOR

When the HEPA media ﬁlter reaches 2500 hours

of life, the ﬁlter indicator will begin to ﬂash.

REPLACING HEPA MEDIA FILTER

CAUTION: Do not use without ﬁlters

in place

Unplug the unit and ﬂip the unit upside down to

access the ﬁlter

Twist to the left and lift the ﬁlter up and out of

the unit. To install a new ﬁlter, insert the ﬁlter

into the unit and twist to the right to lock into

place.

TO RESET THE FILTER INDICATOR

Twist to the left and lift the ﬁlter up and out. To

reset ﬁlter icon, press and hold Night Light button

until the icon disappears.

accessories, parts and ﬁlters should be used

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE WHAT TO DO

Unit does not turn on. 1. Power cord not ﬁrmly plugged

into outlet.

1. Ensure the adapter is properly connected

to the machine.

2. 2. Bottom panel is not secure. Ensure bottom panel is ﬁrmly closed.

3. 3. No voltage in wall. Check fuse or breaker in home.

4. Blown fuse or tripped breaker. Replace fuse/reset breaker in home.4.

No airﬂow in the air

intake. 1. Packaging removal or exces-

sive debris.

1. Check ﬁlter for any blockage and

remove debris or replace ﬁlter.

Noise increases. 1. Check for any debris inside the

air puriﬁer.

1. Check to see if there is any loose debris

inside of the unit and replace the ﬁlter

if excessive debris is present.

WARRANTY

TTI Floor Care North America (Dirt Devil) gives you the following limited warranty for this product only if

it was originally purchased and solely used residentially, not for resale, from Dirt Devil or an Dirt Devil

Authorized Retail Dealer. Dirt Devil will repair or replace, free of charge, to the original purchaser, any

part that is found to be defective in material or workmanship within one (1) year following the date of

purchase for all residential models. NOTE: Warranty is void if used in a commercial setting. This limited

warranty does not cover the replacement of expendable or consumable parts such as ﬁlters, cartridges,

and other parts subject to normal wear unless they are defective in material or workmanship. This

limited warranty does not apply to any part subjected to accident, abuse, commercial use, alteration,

misuse, damage caused by an act of God, the use of voltages other than on the data plate of this

product or service of this product by other than Dirt Devil or a participating Factory Authorized Service

Center. Dirt Devil does not authorize any person or representative to assume or grant any other warranty

obligation with the sale of this project. The Dirt Devil limited warranty is valid only if you retain proof of

purchase from Dirt Devil or an Dirt Devil Authorized Retail Dealer for this product. If you purchase this

product from any other source, your purchase is “AS IS,” which means Dirt Devil grants you no warranty,

and that you, not Dirt Devil assume the entire risk of the quality and performance of the product,

including the entire cost of any necessary servicing or repairs of any defects. The Dirt Devil liability

for damages to you for any costs whatsoever arising out of this statement of limited warranty shall be

limited to the amount paid for this product at the time of original purchase, and Dirt Devil shall not be

liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to

use this product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential

damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED
