1. Intended Use
This product converts 230V electrical supplies to a 110V output.
It can be used intermittently for loads up to the rated value or
continuously at 60% of its maximum load, and is centre-tapped
to earth.

3. Health and Safety Information
• Check the product and power cables for signs of damage and

DO NOT use the product if it is damaged
in any way.
• use this product in environments where ammable DO NOT
or explosive substances are present.
• ALWAYS ensure that this product is compatible with the
intended power supply; it is intended ONLY for connection to
domestic power supplies rated at 230V AC.
• This is a Class I appliance: there be an earth MUST
connection in the power supply.
• ALWAYS ensure that this product is compatible with the
appliances to be connected; it is ONLY intended to supply
110V AC power.
• DO NOT connect an extension cord to the 230V power
supply; extensions cords may ONLY be used with the 110V
outputs and must exceed 50m in length.NOT
• If the external exible cable or cord of this transformer is
damaged, it shall be replaced by the manufacturer or his
service agent or a similar qualied person in order to avoid
a hazard.
• DO NOT pull or carry the product by the power cable or use
the cable to remove the plug from a socket.
WARNING!
This product becomes very hot during use.
DO NOT touch or cover the product during or
immediately after use and allow the product to cool
thoroughly before handling or storing it.
• Use this product ONLY on heat-resistant surfaces.
• Keep this product out of reach of children.
• DO NOT expose this product to liquids, wet environments
or frost.
• NEVER exceed the maximum load of the product.
• ALWAYS operate, transport and store this product in an
upright position.
4. Use Modes
The transformer can accommodate dierent loads according to
the way in which it is used:
• When used intermittently for short periods, a load of up to
the maximum rated power may be applied to the transformer.
Important: NEVER exceed the maximum rated load of
the product.
Important: When used intermittently, the product be MUST
allowed to rest for minutes after every minutes of use.15 ve
• When used continuously, a load of up to 60% of the
maximum rated power may be applied to the transformer.
Important: Continuous use is intended for low-wattage
appliances ONLY. Continuous use to power higher-wattage
appliances will overload the product and may cause
signicant damage to the circuitry.

5. Thermal Cut-Out
The transformer is equipped with a thermal cut-out to prevent it
from overheating. If the thermal cut-out is tripped, switch o
and disconnect all appliances and allow the transformer to cool
before gently pressing the reset button.
If the thermal cut-out trips frequently, contact Draper Tools
for support.
6. Disposal
At the end of its working life, dispose of the product responsibly
and in line with local regulations. Recycle where possible.
• DO NOT dispose of this product with domestic waste; most
local authorities provide appropriate recycling facilities.
• DO NOT incinerate this product.as this may release toxic or
corrosive substances.
7. Warranty
Draper Tools products are carefully tested and inspected before
shipment and are guaranteed to be free from defective materials
and workmanship.
Should the tool develop a fault, return the complete tool to
your nearest distributor or contact Draper Tools directly.
Contact information can be found at the back of this manual.
Proof of purchase must be provided.
If, upon inspection, it is found that the fault occurring is due to
defective materials or workmanship, repairs will be carried out
free of charge. This warranty period covers parts and labour for
12 months from the date of purchase. Where tools have been
hired out, the warranty period covers 90 days from the date
of purchase.
This warranty does not apply to any consumable parts,
batteries or normal wear and tear, nor does it cover any damage
caused by misuse, careless or unsafe handling, alterations,
accidents, or repairs attempted or made by any personnel other
than the authorised Draper Tools repair agent.
In all cases, to make a claim for faulty workmanship or materials
within the standard warranty period, please contact or return
the product to the place of purchase. Proof of purchase may
be required.
