level surfaces. This scale will not function correctly on carpet. The electronic sensors are
very sensitive; avoid dropping or jarring the scale, and please keep it where it will be
protected from impact.

INITIAL SETUP: CREATING & EDITING USER PROFILES
1. Remove the insulating plastic strip from the battery compartment. Ensure the batter-
ies are properly seated within the +/- terminals.
2. Press the button on the base of the scale to select your desired unit of meas-UNIT
ure; pounds (lb), kilograms (kg) or stones (st).
3. To set up a new user profile (or edit an existing profile) press and use the ENTER
LEFT RIGHT or arrow buttons located on the side of the scale to select a profile
number. Press to confirm. ENTER
4. “CLrN” will appear on display. Using the arrow buttons on the side, select “N” to con-
tinue, or “Y” to reset your profile. Press ENTER to confirm.
5. Select your gender using the or arrow buttons (Activate Athlete Mode LEFT RIGHT
by selecting your gender with the accompanied running figure). Press to ENTER
confirm.
6. Select your height using the LEFT RIGHT or arrow buttons and press to ENTER
confirm.
7. Select your age using the or arrow buttons and press to con-LEFT RIGHT ENTER
firm.
8. When the display shows zero weight, step on the scale with clean and dry bare feet.
The scale will measure your weight and then calculate your body composition.
Note: This body scale can save up to 8 unique user profiles. To program additional pro-
files, follow steps 3 through 8.
SHOULD I ACTIVATE ATHLETE MODE?
Activate Athlete Mode if you exercise at least 10 hours per week and have been doing so
consistently for the last 6 months, or longer.
