Rose User Guide Addendum (Beta 3.0)

Presets

The Rose pedal has 5 banks of presets to choose from, each bank containing 5 presets for a

total of 25 presets.

Loading Presets Using the Footswitches

To Load a Preset from the currently selected Bank

- Press ACTIVE + HOTSWITCH (Footswitch LEDs = Orange)

- Tap HOTSWITCH to select Preset Slot indicated by the PRESET ladder

- Press ACTIVE to load Preset

To Change Preset Bank

- Press ACTIVE + HOTSWITCH (Footswitch LEDs = Orange)

- Hold HOTSWITCH alone until SHAPE LED is lit.

- Tap HOTSWITCH to select Preset Bank indicated by the SHAPE ladder

Loading Presets Using the Buttons

To Load a Preset from the currently selected Bank

- Momentarily press PRESET (PRESET + SHAPE LEDs are blinking)

- Press PRESET Button to select Preset Slot indicated on the PRESET ladder

- Preset loads when PRESET + SHAPE LEDs stop blinking

To Change Preset Bank & Load Preset

- Momentarily press PRESET (PRESET + SHAPE LEDs are blinking)

- Press SHAPE Button to select Preset Bank indicated by the SHAPE ladder

- Press PRESET to select a Preset Slot indicated on the PRESET ladder

- Preset loads when PRESET + SHAPE stop blinking

Saving Presets

- Press & Hold PRESET Button until PRESET + SHAPE LEDs are blinking

- Press SHAPE Button to select target Preset Bank

- Press PRESET to select target Preset Slot

- Hold PRESET Button until PRESET & SHAPE LED flashes rapidly

- Preset is now saved in selected Bank and Slot

MIDI Clock:

- Hold ACTIVE + PHI until all LEDs are on

- Press PHI to enable MIDI clock (bottom most Shape ladder LED lit) or disable MIDI clock

(all SHAPE ladder LEDs off)

- Press ACTIVE or HOTSWITCH to exit

Bypass Mode/Kill-dry Mode:

- Hold ACTIVE + PHI until all LEDs are on

- Press PRESET to toggle different Bypass Modes (Buffer, Relay or Input Kill)

- Each Bypass Mode can stand alone or be paired with Kill-dry Mode

- Kill-dry is indicated by the bottom LED on the PRESET ladder

- Press ACTIVE or HOTSWITCH to exit

Hotswitch/Tap Tempo Divisions:

- Hold SHAPE Button until SHAPE + PRESET are blinking

- Press SHAPE Button to assign HOTSWITCH function to Tap Tempo (first LED)

- Press PRESET Button to select tap tempo/tap LFO divisions

- Available divisions are ¼ (top LED of Preset Ladder lit), ⅛, dotted ⅛ and triplet

- Press ACTIVE or HOTSWITCH to exit

AUX Switch:

- Hold HOTSWITCH + DELTA until PRESET and SHAPE are blinking

- Press SHAPE Button to cycle through Tap, Inf Rpt, Mod Hold, Mod Rst, A/B, PHI,

DELTA, Bypass, Preset Load, Decrement Preset (Hotswitch LED green), Increment

Preset (Hotswitch LED red) and Unassigned

- To assign AUX to BYPASS press SHAPE until ACTIVE LED is red

- To assign AUX to Preset Load press SHAPE until ACTIVE LED is yellow

- Press ACTIVE or HOTSWITCH to exit

Envelope Detune Effect:

- Press SHAPE Button to select Envelope Modulation on SHAPE ladder

- Set RATE knob fully counterclockwise

- Change DEPTH value using knob, Exp Pdl or MIDI
