unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
•
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. For service information see
warranty page.

The use of accessory attachments not recommended by Focus Electrics may
cause injuries.
•
Do not use this appliance outdoors.
•
Do not let cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
•
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
•
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or
other hot liquids.
•
Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn any control to “OFF,” then remove plug from wall outlet. Only the
appropriate cord/connector must be used.
•
Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
•
To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or other electric parts
in water or other liquids.
•
Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself.
•
This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a
separate remote-control system.
•
Always check to ensure handles/legs are assembled and fastened properly.
Overtightening can result in stripping of screws or cracking of handles/legs.
