Safety Instructions

Be careful when handling and operang the machine, as the blades are very sharp. Always keep your hands

away from the blades. When not in use, use the ring pin to secure the machine in the down posion.

Operation

1) Remove ring pin from lockdown posion hole.

2) Insert ring pin into hole on handle.

3) Li and hold the handle in the upright posion and place a head of leuce on the blade surface.

4) Remove hands and ngers from the cung area.

5) Firmly push the handle down so that the push plate forces the product completely through the blades.

6) Clean the machine aer chopping is complete using the cleaning instrucons below.

7) Do not aempt to cut produce larger than the surface of the blade assembly.

Cleaning and Maintenance

1) Remove ring pin and use handle to li push plate o of the guide rods.

2) Remove hold down clips and remove the blade assembly from the frame.

3) Use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe down the frame. Clean the push plate and blade assembly

thoroughly.

4) Make sure frame, blade assembly, and all other components are dried thoroughly.

5) Replace blade assembly, and then re-aach hold down clips.

6) When necessary, lubricate guide rods with mineral oil, food grade grease, or paran. Do not use

cooking oil.

7) Replace push plate then return handle to down posion. Replace the ring pin for safe storage.
