1. Range of Uses forYour GARDENA UVC Pressure Filter Set

The UVC Pressure Filter Set is intended for private use in

domestic gardens and allotments and should only be used

out of doors for cleaning garden ponds with and without fish.

PF 10000 S: PF 15000 S:

for ponds with a volume of for ponds with a volume of

up to 10000 l without fish / up to 15000 l without fish /

5000 l with fish 7500 l with fish

The GARDENA UVC Pressure Filter Set cleans the pond water

biologically and mechanically and reduces the growth of algae.

Algae is bound together and pathogens (particularly in fish ponds)

are destroyed.

The UVC Pressure Filter Set is not suitable for industrial use

or in combination with chemicals, food, easily combustible

and explosive substances.

Pond and Filter Tip

Garden ponds are not as deep as natural water features. The

lack of depth means that a garden pond heats up and cools

down much more quickly. These changes in temperature and

environmental factors such as fertilisers, plant residues etc., are

among the main causes of excess levels of nutrients and hence

of growth of algae.
