MAVOMAX 60, RK1, RK2/RK5

Interior Light Monitor . 4/12 21

The MAVO room light monitor is used wherever a constant illuminance has to be ensured. This applies, in MAX

particular, to compliance with the room classes according to DIN 6868-157 of diagnostic rooms, examination

rooms with immediate diagnostics, dental diagnostic workstations and in teleradiology, where diagnostic monitors

and light boxes for medical applications are used. For universally usable rooms with dimmable lighting, it supports

the setting of the permissible illuminance for diagnostic.

During the transitional period for the quality assurance of image reproduction devices according to DIN V 6868-

57, the MAVO can be used in order to extend the interval of constancy testing of image display devices for MAX

veiling luminance maximum contrast to 6 months. In the case of repeat measurements within the framework and

of acceptance or constancy testing, veiling luminance need not be measured again and the 60-minute waiting

time until the image display device has reached a stable state is eliminated.

Initial Start- Up

The MAVO is attached to the front edge of the monitor with the help of the double-faced tape at the bottom. MAX

The front of the MAVO must be ush mounted to the front of the monitor. Please note that the MAVO MAX MAX

can no longer be removed after attaching it to your monitor. Forcible removal of the monitoring unit will

destroy the base plate of the MAVOMAX!

The MAVO is supplied with electrical power by connecting it to either an available USB port or the included MAX

mains power pack via the permanently attached USB cable. The MAVO is designed for continuous operation MAX

and is now ready for use.

The indicates that ambient light is within the permissible range for the interpretation of ndings. The green LED

red LED indicates that the brightness is not within the permissible range.

Maintenance

The instrument does not require any special maintenance if used in accordance with the operating instructions. If

the instrument becomes contaminated during use, clean the surface of the housing with a slightly moistened cloth.

Avoid the use of cleansers, abrasives or solvents. If at any time your MAVO does not function to your full MAX

satisfaction, please contact our service department.
