When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons,
including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they are closely supervised and instructed concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
3. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its
cord out of reach of children.

5. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put base, motor, cord,

order to avoid a hazard. Call the provided customer service number for
information on examination, repair, or adjustment.
10. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by Hamilton Beach
Proctor-Silex, Inc., may cause fire, electrical shock, or injury.
11. Do not use outdoors.
12. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces,
including stove.
13. Never add ingredients to container while appliance is operating.
14. Container must be properly in place before operating appliance.
