Installation Instructions

IMPORTANT - READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN

INSTALLER SHOULD LEAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS WITH THE HOMEOWNER

Some parts have sharp edges. Care must be taken when handling the various components to avoid

personal injury. Wear gloves when handling. The unit is heavy and awkward to move around. Two

people should work together to lift the unit into the cutout in your island.

TOOLS REQUIRED:

Work gloves

Safety glasses

Phillips screwdriver

Flat-blade screwdriver

7/16” wrench

Level

Tape measure

Inspect the product to verify that there is no shipping damage. If any damage is detected, call the shipper

and initiate a damage claim. Hestan Commercial Corp. is not responsible for shipping damage. DO NOT

discard any packing material (box, pallet, straps) until the unit has been inspected.

Remove all exterior packaging materials, banding, tape, etc. Remove all protective film from the inside of

your product. You may leave any exterior protective film on until after installation is complete.

CONFIGURATIONS

Your new Hestan Refreshment Center / Insulated Sink is offered in 4 different configurations, as well

as a separate Ice Bin accessory. Other accessories are available for purchase to further customize your

product. Please visit the Hestan website (www.hestanhome.com), or contact your Hestan dealer for

more information.

GIS30 GISHS30 AGIB

1. Consult the end of this instruction manual to determine the appropriate cutout dimensions for your

product. The Hestan Refreshment Center / Insulated Sink is designed for outdoor use and features

corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction. The faucet (GRC & GRCHS models) is also made of

stainless steel and is outdoor-rated.

Some provision must be made in the island for fresh water supply and proper drainage of the sink. It is

recommended that the product be installed by a qualified technician or plumber in accordance with all

local building and plumbing codes.

As seen in this typical installation, Hestan Access Doors are mounted underneath the Refreshment

Center & Ice Bin to allow access to the plumbing underneath. This is not a requirement and your

professional outdoor equipment designer or installer may find another way to access this area.

2. Installation instructions for the faucet are packed in the carton with the faucet itself. It may be easier

to mount the faucet before installing the sink. The large 3-1/2” hole in the sink can accommodate

a standard basket strainer (not included), or a food-waste disposer (not included). Your qualified

technician or plumber should install this item before mounting the sink.
