1. Use the mat on a suitable surface:

Lay out the mat on a ﬂat, dry and clean surface to prevent it from moving during exercise.

2. Be careful with a damp mat:

A damp mat can become slippery. Make sure the mat and your hands and feet are dry before you start

exercising.

3. Clean the mat regularly:

Aer each use, wipe the mat with a damp cloth and allow it to dry. Avoid using aggressive detergents that

may damage the material.

4. Do not use a damaged mat:

If you noce cracks, holes or other damage, replace the mat with a new one to avoid accidents.

5. Store your mat properly:

When you have ﬁnished exercising, roll the mat and store it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and

high temperatures, which can weaken its structure.

6. Avoid loading the mat with sharp objects:

Do not place sharp objects or shoes with hard soles on the mat to prevent damage to the mat.

7. Exercise in a safe environment:

Make sure there is enough space around you to exercise to avoid collisions with other people or objects.

8. Select a mat for the type of acvity:

Use the mat according to its intended use (e.g. a yoga mat is not suitable for strength training).

9. Warm up before exercising:

Perform a warm-up before exercising to avoid straining your muscles and joints.

10. Keep away from children:

Do not leave the mat within the reach of children unsupervised, especially if it is an acupressure mat that

can be misused.

11. Consult your doctor:

If you have health problems or concerns about using the mat (e.g. for acupressure mats), consult your

doctor before you start exercising.
