HoMedics vende sus productos con la intención de que están libres de defectos de fabricación y
mano de obra por un período de dos años a partir de la fecha de compra original, excepto como se
indica a continuación. HoMedics garantiza que sus productos no tendrán defectos de material ni de
mano de obra bajo condiciones de uso y servicio normales. Esta garantía se extiende únicamente a
consumidores y no a distribuidores.
Para obtener servicio de garantía en su producto HoMedics, póngase en contacto con un
representante de relaciones con el consumidor llamando al 1-800-466-3342 para obtener
asistencia. Asegúrese de tener a mano el número de modelo del producto.
HoMedics no autoriza a nadie, incluyendo, pero sin limitarse a, distribuidores, posteriores
consumidores compradores del producto a un distribuidor, o compradores remotos, a obligar a
HoMedics de forma alguna más allá de las condiciones aquí establecidas. La garantía de este
producto no cubre daños causados por uso inadecuado o abuso, accidente, conexión de accesorios

Esta garantía es válida únicamente si el producto es comprado y operado en el país en el cual
se compró el producto. Un producto que requiera modificaciones o adaptación para habilitar su
funcionamiento en cualquier país que no sea aquél para el que fue diseñado, fabricado, aprobado
y/o autorizado, o la reparación de productos dañados por estas modificaciones no están cubiertos
bajo esta garantía.
LA GARANTÍA AQUÍ ESTABLECIDA SERÁ LA ÚNICA Y EXCLUSIVA GARANTÍA. NO HABRÁ

• DO NOT operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it
has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return it to the HoMedics’ Service Center
for examination and repair.
• Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• DO NOT drop or insert any object into any opening unless specifically directed in this manual.
• An appliance should NEVER be left unattended while plugged in.
• DO NOT carry this appliance by the supply cord or use the cord as a handle.
• DO NOT use outdoors. This appliance is designed for household use only.
• DO NOT operate where aerosol spray products are being used or where oxygen is
being administered.
• DO NOT apply the paraffin near eyes or other sensitive areas.
• DO NOT allow the level of paraffin wax to fall below the “MIN” line inside of the tub.
• NEVER use sharp instruments to remove solidified paraffin wax from
the unit.
• Use appliance on a sturdy level surface only.
• ALWAYS store this product in a cool, dry place.
• DO NOT use an extension cord with this product

SPECIAL WARNINGS:

• This product is not intended for medical use. It is intended only to provide a
luxurious paraffin bath.
• Not recommended for use by people with diabetes.
• Use bath only when seated. DO NOT stand on or in the tub unit.
• DO NOT apply paraffin wax on open cuts or wounds, warts, inflamed
skin, or when the sensation of any extremities is decreased.
• Consult your physician if you have any questions or concerns about
acute inflammation and peripheral vascular disease or decreased
sensation of any extremity before using.
• Discontinue use and consult a physician if the paraffin wax feels too
warm or if it does not feel warm enough. This may indicate a possible
physical problem.
• Discontinue use and consult your physician if dermatitis, discomfort,
irritation, or pain occurs from continued paraffin treatments.
• Test the paraffin wax on the inside of your wrist to make sure the
temperature is comfortable.
• DO NOT overfill the unit and always keep the paraffin wax level about
2 inches from the top of the bath.
• NEVER operate the unit without paraffin wax.
• DO NOT melt paraffin wax in its plastic packaging, nor melt it over
an open flame, on a range, stove or in a microwave.
• DO NOT pour the melted paraffin wax from the tub/unit.
• Unplug unit before filling with paraffin wax.
• DO NOT use accessories or wax not recommended or sold
by HoMedics.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by HoMedics‘
Service Center.
• DO NOT put water into the tub/unit.
• DO NOT add oil or any other additives to the paraffin wax.
