Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Der AS-i Repeater dient zur Leitungsverlängerung eines AS-i Netz-

werkes um weitere 100 m. Die ankommenden Daten der AS-i Linie 1

werden aufbereitet und an die AS-i Linie 2 weitergeleitet. Die Daten

aus AS-i Linie 2 werden ebenfalls aufbereitet und an die AS-i Linie 1

gesandt.

• Verlängerung des AS-i Netzwerkes um 100 m

• galvanische Trennung des ankommenden und des abgehenden AS-i

Netzes

• ein zusätzliches AS-i Netzteil erforderlich

• Anschluss der AS-i Linien erfolgt über Combiconklemmen (Zubehör)

Montage

Klemmen Sie das Modul auf eine 35 mm Profilschiene.

Elektrischer Anschluss

Verbinden Sie die ankommende AS-i Linie 1 mit den Klemmen A+ und

A- und die weiterführende AS-i Linie 2 mit den Klemmen A+ und A-.

Beachten Sie, dass für die weiterführende AS-i Linie ein zusätzliches

AS-i Netzteil benötigt wird.

Ankommende und weiterführende AS-i Linien dürfen nicht mit-

einander verbunden werden, da ansonsten die galvanische Tren-

nung des Repeaters aufgehoben wird!

Betrieb

Prüfen Sie, ob der Repeater ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. Anzeige

durch LEDs:

• LEDs grün: AS-i Spannungen i.O.

• LEDs rot: Keine Kommunikation auf der AS-i Leitung

Ist in Linie 2 nach dem Repeater kein aktives Modul angeschlossen,

gilt:

• wurden keine Slaves erkannt = LED 2 Fault leuchtet rot

• wurden nur Slaves erkannt, die nicht aktiv sind (nicht oder falsch im

AS-i Master projektiert) = LED 2 Fault blinkt rot

Fonctionnement et caractéristiques

Le répéteur AS-i permet de prolonger le réseau AS-i de 100 m supplé-

mentaires. Les données qui arrivent au faisceau AS-i 1 sont traitées et

transmises au faisceau AS-i 2. Les données du faisceau AS-i 2 sont éga-

lement traitées et transmises au faisceau AS-i 1.

• prolongation du réseau AS-i de 100 m

• séparation galvanique des faisceaux AS-i amont et aval

• une alimentation AS-i supplémentaire est nécessaire

• raccordement des faisceaux AS-i via des borniers débrochables

(accessoires).

Montage

Fixer le module sur un rail profilé de 35 mm.

Raccordement électrique

Raccorder le faisceau AS-i 1 amont aux bornes A+ et A- et le faisceau

AS-i 2 aval aux bornes A+ et A-. Raccorder une alimentation AS-i sup-

plémentaire sur le faisceau AS-i aval.

Les faisceaux AS-i amont et aval ne doivent pas être intercon-

nectés, sinon la séparation galvanique du répéteur est annulée !

Fonctionnement

Vérifier le bon fonctionnement du répéteur. Affichage par LED:

• LED vertes: tension AS-i correcte

• LED rouges: aucune communication via le câble AS-i

Si aucun module n'est raccordé sur la ligne 2 en aval du répéteur :

• Si aucun esclave n'a été détecté = LED 2 rouge Fault allumée

• Si tous les esclaves détectés sont inactifs (non projeté ou projeté

incorrectement dans le maître AS-i) = LED 2 Fault clignote en rouge

Function and features

The AS-i repeater is used to extend the cable length of an AS-i network

by another 100 m. The incoming data of the AS-i line 1 are processed

and transmitted to the AS-i line 2. The data of the AS-i line 2 are also

processed and transmitted to the AS-i line 1.

• Extension of the AS-i network by 100 m

• Electrical separation of the incoming and outgoing AS-i network

• Additional AS-i power supply required

• Connection of the AS-i lines via Combicon connectors (accessories).

Installation

Fix the module onto a 35 mm rail.

Electrical connection

Connect the incoming AS-i line 1 to the terminals A+ and A- and the

outgoing AS-i line 2 to the terminals A+ and A-. Consider that an addi-

tional AS-i power supply is required for the outgoing AS-i line.

Incoming and outgoing AS-i lines must not be connected to each

other, otherwise the electrical separation of the repeater is elim-

inated!

Operation

Check whether the repeater operates correctly. Display by LEDs:

• LEDs green: AS-i voltage ok

• LEDs red: no communication on the AS-i cable

If no active module is connected in line 2 beyond the repeater:

• If no slaves have been detected = LED 2 Fault lights red

• If only slaves have been detected which are not active (not or incor-

rectly projected in the AS-i master) = LED 2 Fault red flashing
