IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
3. Do not use a two-way socket with another appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced with
the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest authorized service center.
5. Do not place the unit near a gas stove, an electric burner, in a heated oven, or near a hot surface.
6. Place the unit on a stable surface; keep it away from the edge of the counter to avoid accidents.
7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
9. Extreme caution must be exercised when using an appliance containing boiling liquid in the multi-cooker.
10. Do not allow the cord to touch the hot surface of the unit.
11. For protection against electric shock, do not immerse the unit including the base unit in water or any other
liquid.
12. Remove the unit from the base unit before lling or pouring. Do not attempt to remove the unit from the
base unit until it is switched o. Use the appliance only with the supplied base. Do not use the base unit for
other purposes.
13. Always ensure that the lid is closed and do not lift it while the liquid in the multi-cooker is boiling. Scalding
may occur if the lid is removed during the cooking cycle. Do not touch the hot surfaces of the multi-cooker.
14. Allow the unit to cool down before moving or cleaning.
15. Not intended for outdoor use.
16. No parts are dishwasher safe.
17. Do not cook food below the recommended minimum ‘MIN’ level or above the maximum ‘MAX’ level. Boiling
water or liquid may come out of the multi-cooker. If the multi-cooker is overfilled, boiling liquids may spill out
that may cause accidents or injuries.
18. Carry or move the multi-cooker only by its handle.
19. In case of malfunctions, please bring the multi-cooker to the nearest Authorized Imarex Service Center.
20. Do not operate the unit without any water or liquid.
21. Do not touch the heating plate when the appliance is plugged into the convenient outlet.
22. Avoid water spillage into the socket, connector, cord, power base and alike.
23. Do not immerse the unit body and base unit in water or any other liquid.
24. Multi-cooker steamer may get very hot, be careful when handling.
25. Do not leave the appliance unattended while the unit is in use to avoid accidents or any damage to the unit.
26. Extra caution must be exercised when using the appliance for steaming, a large amount of steam will shoot
out of the steam hole
27. Unplug the unit every after use and before moving or cleaning the appliance.
28. Use of accessories or equipment not supplied by the manufacturer may cause damage or malfunctioning
of your appliance or result in injuries.
29. For household use only, not intended for any business purposes.
30. Do not use this unit other than its intended use.
31. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must
not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is
regularly switched on and off by the utility.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
FOR INITIAL USE:
1. Make sure that all the accessories are intact.
2. Clean the inner pot and steamer with a cotton cloth.
3. To disinfect the unit, kindly ll the pot with water up to the ‘MAX’ level and let it boil for about 20
minutes.
HOW TO USE
NOTE: Heat light indicator will light up indicating that temperature start heating up, when the
temperature reaches the set temperature, the power light indicator will turn o and will light up once
the temperature has decreased.
1. Place the unit on a at and stable surface.
2. Pour the ingredients into the inner pot.
Note: Do not cook food above the maximum MAX’ level.
3. Place the inner pot on the top of the unit, followed by its cover.
4. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
5. Select the desired temperature by turning the temperature control switch. The heat light indicator
will light up and the unit will start heating up.
6. Once cooked, pour the cooked food in a separate bowl.
7. Turn OFF the unit and unplug from the convenience outlet after every use.
Boil Water
1. Place the unit on a at and stable surface.
2. Pour water into the inner pot.
Note: Do not cook food above the maximum MAX’ level.
3. Place the inner pot on the top of the unit, followed by its cover.
4. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
5. Turn the temperature control knob to ‘MAX’, the heat light indicator will light up and the unit will
start heating up.
6. When it’s done, turn the temperature control knob to ‘OFF’.
7. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet every after use.
Porridge / Soup
1. Place the unit on a at and stable surface.
2. Pour liquid into the inner pot.
Note: Do not cook food above the maximum MAX’ level.
3. Place the inner pot on the top of the unit, followed by its cover.
4. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
5. Turn the temperature control knob to ‘MAX’, the heat light indicator will light up and the unit will
start heating up.
6. When the liquid starts boiling, put the necessary ingredients into the inner pot.
Note: To avoid burning the pot and mixture, lower the temperature to ‘MED’ level or according to
the desired temperature.
7. Wait until the food is cooked well.
8. Once cooked, turn the temperature control knob to OFF’.
9. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet every after use.
Steam Food
1. Place the unit on a at and stable surface.
2. Pour water into the inner pot.
3. Place the inner pot on the top of the unit, followed by the steaming basket.
4. Put the desired ingredients inside the steaming basket.
5. Put the cover on the top of the steaming basket.
6. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
7. Turn the temperature control knob to ‘MAX’, the heat light indicator will light up and the unit will start heating
up.
8. When it’s done, turn the temperature control knob to ‘OFF’.
Note: Be careful in handling the steaming basket after cooking, it may get extremely hot.
9. Unplug the unit from the convenient outlet every after use.
Rice
1. Put the rice into the inner pot, measure the desired amount of rice.
2. Wash the rice several times until the water is relatively clear.
3. Measure water on rice for cooking.
Note: Do not cook food above the maximum level (8 cups). Boiling water may come out of the rice cooker.
4. Wipe the bottom part of the inner pot and put it inside the unit, turn it slightly from left to right to ensure that
the pot is properly t into the heater plate, and then level the rice.
5. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet when you’re ready to cook rice.
6. Turn the temperature control knob to ‘MAX’, the heat light indicator will light up and the unit will start heating
up.
7. When the water starts boiling, turn the temperature control knob to ‘LOW to MED level.
Note: The unit will not stop cooking once it’s done. Please make sure to check the rice from time to time.
8. Turn OFF the unit after the cooking cycle.
Shabu-shabu / Hotpot / Stew
1. Place the base unit on a at and stable surface.
2. Pour liquid into the inner pot.
3. Note: Do not cook food above the maximum ‘MAX’ level.
4. Place the unit on the top of the base unit, followed by its cover.
5. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
6. Turn the temperature control knob to ‘MAX’, the heat light indicator will light up and the unit will start heating
up.
7. When the water starts boiling, put the desired ingredients into the inner pot.
8. Wait until the food is cooked well.
9. Once cooked, turn the temperature control knob to OFF’.
10. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet every after use.
Warm Food
1. Place the base unit on a at and stable surface.
2. Pour food into the inner pot.
3. Place the unit on the top of the base unit, followed by its cover.
4. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
5. Turn the temperature control knob to the ‘LOW to MED’ level, the heat light indicator will light up and the
unit will start heating up.
6. Wait until the food is warm.
7. When it’s done, turn the temperature control knob to ‘OFF’.
8. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet every after use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
1. Always unplug the appliance after use and allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning.
2. Do not use metal spoons, spatulas or scoopers because the pot may get damaged.
3. Do not use abrasive sponges, scouring pads, or stiff brushes to clean your multi-cooker.
4. The inner pot, may be cleaned with mild soapy water using a sponge of soft cloth then wipe the surface with
a damp cloth.
Note: Do not immerse the bottom part of the unit in water or any other liquids.
5. You may clean the tempered glass lid and steamer with soap and water.
6. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth.
Note: Do not immerse the unit and base unit with water or any liquids.
