install and use this appliance.

This wood heater contains a catalytic
combustor that requires periodic
inspection and maintenance for
proper operation. See this manual
for specific maintenance information.
It is against federal regulations to
operate this wood heater in a manner
inconsistent with the operating
instructions in this owner’s manual, or
if the catalytic element is deactivated
or removed.

Provision for outside air may be required by your local building
codes.
Theoutsideairkitincludesa3inchadapterusedtoconnectan
airductdirectlytothestovecombustionchamber.Thefollowing
additionalmaterialswillberequired:
A. Theappropriatelengthofmetallicflexpipeforaconduitofthe
outsideair.
B. Arain/weatherresistantcapfortheoutsideofthehouse.
C. Arodentscreen-thatisnolargerthan1/4”(6,4mm)mesh.
Followtheinstructionsprovidedwiththekit.
Pleasebeawarethatprovisionofoutsideairtosupport
combustionwillnotnecessarilyeliminateperformanceissues
associatedwithnegativepressurewithinthehomeorchimney
system.
