Installing the Homeplugs

Step 1: Connect one power

adapter to your ADSL or

cable modem’s Ethernet port

and plug the adapter into the

nearest mains socket

Step 2: Plug in the second

mains power adapter next

to your PC and connect the

Ethernet ports

Step 3: You can now acces

the internet from any mains

socket in your home

Mains power

ON Mains power network activity.

OFF Search or no mains power network activity.

Ethernet

ON Ethernet connection is OK.

Flashing Data transfer.

OFF No link to Ethernet.

POWER

ON Power on.

ON Red light indicates standby mode*.

OFF Mains power off or failure.

* Standby mode: This mode is the energy saving mode that complies with EuP standards.

The homeplug will automatically enable standby mode when there is no

Ethernet activity.
