Introduction
The compact, powered stage monitors of the LD Stinger G2 Series are suitable for all mobile applications. Spe-
cially developed coaxial speakers with an integral 1“ HF driver and powerful ferrite magnets stand out because
of precisely symmetrical dispersion over 75° x 75° and attain a high sound-level pressure with maximum
resitance to feedback. They are driven by Class AB power amplifiers.
Dependable operation of the LD Stinger G2 stage monitors is ensured by a limiter that prevents overloading of
the speaker and a protection circuit that guards against short-circuiting.
The input is a XLR-jack combo socket, an XLR output permits looping through of the signal. Other connector
panel features include a volume control, IEC power socket, and indicators of various colours for power, signal,
and the limiter function.
The elegant looking bass-reflex cabinets of the LD Stinger stage monitors are fashioned from 15-mm thick mul-
tiplex covered with a rugged coating. A sturdy metal grille guards against speaker damage, and ergonomically
milled handles make transport easier. The monitor angle is 35°.
