Owner’s manual

Thank you for purchasing the PowerPort Slim Portable Battery & Charger. Take the compact, lightweight

PowerPort with you wherever you go and have a handy charger or rescue battery that works anywhere!

The PowerPort charges your PDA, mobile phone, MP3 player, game system, or any device that can be charged

via a USB cable connection.

Included in the package you have purchased:

• PowerPort Battery / Charger

• USB charging cable

• Adapter Tips for various mobile devices

• User Manual

Caution

- Do not overcharge the PowerPort. This will shorten the life span of the device.

- Disconnect the PowerPort as soon as it is practical after the charge is complete.

- Recycle or dispose of the PowerPort properly. If disposed of in re or short–circuited, the PowerPort

may leak or explode, causing personal injury.

- When not in use, unplug the PowerPort from all cables and devices.

- Do not drop.

Note: Prior to initial use, fully charge your PowerPort before connecting

to your device.

Attach the Mini USB adapter tip to the small end of the cable (B). Plug the Mini

USB connector into the top of the PowerPort’s mini USB jack labeled “IN.”

Plug the USB end of the cable (A) in to any powered USB port.

While charging, the LED Battery Status Indicator will light up red. When the

charging process has been completed the LED will turn blue. Once the charge

indicator shows the charge has completed, disconnect the battery from the

USB power source. Your PowerPort is ready to go.

With the built in ON / OFF button, you have the option of using the PowerPort when

you need it. When you need an extra charge in your device, just push the button once

to turn it “ON” and you will see the LED status indicator light and charging will

proceed. Once your device is charged, just press the button again and the PowerPort

will turn “OFF.”

Blue status LED – A blue light indicates the PowerPort is in use, or OK for use.

Red status LED – A red light indicates the PowerPort is recharging or

needs to be recharged.

Flashing status LED – A ashing light indicates the

PowerPort’s battery is running low.

Lenmar product is warranted to be free of defective parts and workmanship for stated period from the original date of purchase. Warranties are not transferable.

The warranty excludes damage resulting from accident, misuse, modication, delay or loss of use, damage to equipment or by normal wear and tear.

- Send back the product freight prepaid (we recommend insuring the package as Lenmar will not be responsible for shipments lost or damaged in transit).

Charging your PowerPort

On/Oﬀ Button - LED Status

1. Plug the USB end of the cable (A) into the top of the

PowerPort’s USB slot labeled “OUT” (see diagram).

2. Choose the appropriate adapter tip for your device

and attach it to the small end of the cable (B).

3. Connect the adapter tip to your device.

4. Press the “ON / OFF” button to activate the PowerPort; the PowerPort’s LED should illuminate blue. Your

device should now indicate that it is receiving power. You must press the status indicator button to fully

utilize the PowerPort. Some devices will appear to be charging as soon as they are connected to the

PowerPort, even if the status indicator button has not been pressed. The PowerPort will emit a small amount

of power upon connection to the device, however, this is not enough current to deliver a full charge.

5. If you are using the PowerPort to recharge your device, be sure to disconnect as soon as possible after

your device is recharged to conserve the power in the PowerPort, and to avoid overcharging your device’s

battery.

Mode d'emploi

Merci d’avoir acheté le produit Pile et chargeur portable mince PowerPort. Apportez le PowerPort compact et

léger avec vous partout et vous aurez un chargeur pratique ou une pile de secours qui fonctionne n'importe

où! Le PowerPort permet de charger votre ANP, votre téléphone mobile, votre lecteur MP3, votre système de

jeu ou tout autre appareil pouvant être chargé à l’aide d'une connexion de câble USB.

L'emballage du produit contient :

• Pile et chargeur portable PowerPort

• Câble de chargement USB

• Fiches d’alimentation pour divers appareils mobiles

• Mode d’emploi

Mise en garde

- Ne surchargez pas le PowerPort. Cela réduira la durée de vie de l’appareil.

- Débranchez le PowerPort dès que possible une fois la charge complète.

- Recyclez ou jetez le PowerPort de la manière appropriée. S’il est jeté au feu ou s’il est court-circuité, le

PowerPort peut couler ou exploser et causer des blessures.

- Lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé, débranchez le PowerPort de tous les câbles et de tous les appareils.

- Ne l’échappez pas.

Remarque : chargez le PowerPort complètement avant de l'utiliser pour

la première fois et de le brancher sur l'appareil.

Fixez la ﬁche d'alimentation Mini USB à la petite extrémité du câble (B).

Branchez le connecteur Mini USB sur la prise IN mini USB dans le haut du

PowerPort.

Branchez le bout USB du câble (A) sur un port USB sous tension.

Pendant le chargement, le voyant d'état DEL pour la pile s’allumera en rouge.

Une fois le chargement terminé, le voyant DEL deviendra bleu. Lorsque le

voyant de charge indique que le chargement est terminé, débranchez la pile

de la source d'alimentation USB. Votre PowerPort est prêt à utiliser.

Le bouton marche/arrêt intégré vous permet d'utiliser le PowerPort lorsque vous en avez

besoin. Lorsque l’appareil a besoin d'une charge supplémentaire, appuyez sur le bouton

ON (marche) et le voyant d'état DEL s'allumera, indiquant que la charge a commencé.

Une fois l’appareil chargé, appuyez sur le bouton de nouveau et le PowerPort s’arrêtera.

Voyant d’état DEL bleu – Une lumière bleue indique que le PowerPort est en cours

d’utilisation ou qu’il est prêt à utiliser.

Voyant d’état DEL rouge – Une lumière rouge indique que le PowerPort est en charge

ou qu’il doit être rechargé.

Voyant d’état DEL clignotant – Une lumière clignotante indique que la pile du

PowerPort est presque vide.

Charger votre PowerPort

Bouton marche/arrêt – Voyant d’état DEL

1. Branchez le bout USB du câble (A) sur la prise OUT USB dans le

haut du PowerPort (voir le schéma).

2. Sélectionnez la prise d’alimentation appropriée pour l’appareil

et ﬁxez-la à la petite extrémité du câble (B).

3. Branchez la prise d’alimentation sur l’appareil.

4. Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt pour activer le PowerPort; le voyant DEL du PowerPort devrait

s’allumer en bleu. L’appareil devrait maintenant indiquer qu’il reçoit l’alimentation. Vous devez appuyer sur

le bouton indicateur d’état pour pleinement utiliser le PowerPort. Certains appareils sembleront être en

charge aussitôt qu'ils sont branchés sur le PowerPort, même si le bouton indicateur d’état n’a pas encore été

appuyé. Le PowerPort émettra une petite quantité de puissance au moment du branchement sur l'appareil,

cependant cela ne représente pas un courant susant pour pleinement charger l’appareil.

5. Si vous utilisez le PowerPort pour recharger l’appareil, assurez-vous de le débrancher dès que possible

après que l’appareil est rechargé aﬁn de conserver la charge dans le PowerPort et pour éviter de surcharger

la pile de l’appareil.
