remove from SFP ports. Do not use the cable.

strap and attach the clip end to a metal
surface (such as an equipment rack) to act
as ground during installation.
INSTALLATION
Remove the SFP Module from its protective packaging
Gently insert the SFP Module into the SFP port of the Luxul switch
until it clicks into place. The SFP Modules are keyed to prevent
incorrect insertion. A tab on the bottom of the SFP Module locks it
to the front panel of the switch
Remove the protective covering from the port connectors of the SFP
Module and store the covering for future use
The SFP Module is now ready to receive the compatible cable
n NOTE: SFP Modules are hot swappable.
n NOTE: When connecting to devices that will require a
SFP Module, the same module must be used on
both sides of the connection (EX. a 1G-RJ45 SFP
Module on one side of the connection requires
that a 1G-RJ45 is used on the other side of the
connection). The exception is the 10G-SM-SX-LC,
which comes as a pair of compatible modules—
one for each side of the connection.
