Im Jahre 1958 begann die Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) mit
der Indienststellung von dieselhydraulischen Mehrzweck
motiven der Baureihe V 100. Sie hat eine Leistung von

1350 PS ausgeliefert. Die Lokomotiven sind 12,3 m lang und

diesel-hydraulic, multi-purpose locomotive class V 100. It has
an output of 1100 PS. A more powerful version with an output
of 1350 PS was delivered beginning in 1962. The locomoti

Railroad’s high safety standards, in practice these trains are
however used mostly just for exercises.
