Requirements
Use certified HDMI 2.1 cables that support 40Gbps
bandwidth.
Installation
Switch off the HDMI devices before connecting.
• Connect your HDMI source to the HDMI port marked
‘Input’.
• Connect the HDMI ports marked ‘Output 1’ and
‘Output 2’ to your HDMI compatible display devices.
• Use the power adapter and USB-C cable to connect
the ‘DC 5V’ port to a power socket.
Notes on using the product
• The HDMI splitter has three EDID modes: Auto, Copy
and Scaler. These EDID modes dictate what video
resolution and audio format is being used.
• ‘Auto’: Automatically detects the highest possible
common image resolution and audio format that is
supported by both display devices.
• ‘Copy’: Only detects the image resolution and audio
format of the display connected to ‘Output 1’.
• ‘Scaler’: Down scales the resolution from 8K to 4K or
4K to 1080p. This ensures that all display devices
show video at their highest resolution.
