DASH DISASSEMBLY KIT PREPARATION

1. Remove the covers from the (4) “radio

removal tool holes” in the factory radio.

(Figure A)

2. Using Metra’s 86-5618 radio removal

tools, pull the factory radio from the

dash. (Figure B)

3. Remove (1) 10mm bolt from the center

rear of the metal radio support and (2)

Phillips screws from both sides of the

support then remove it from the sub

dash. (Figure C)

Continue to Kit Preparation

1. Trim the area at the bottom of the sub

dash opening to allow for clearance of

the

radio housing

. (Figure A)

2. Secure the

radio housing

to the sub dash

with the factory hardware. (Figure B)
