MC size lever has (2) size options: "Standard MC"
1. Slide lever to appropriate size.
2. Clamping stud should be fully pushed out for
"Standard MC" and fully pushed in for "Small MC".
Cable Clamping and Cutting
1. Insert the cable into the channel.
2. Squeeze auto-clamping lever until clamping stud
reaches bottom of cable groove.
3. Hold tool near cutting head and squeeze until
blade makes contact with cable.
The blade MUST NOT nick a wire
after adjusting the depth of the cut.
A nicked wire can result in an arc that leads to a re.

Do not apply too much pressure while

Blade Storage and Replacement
The blade storage cartridge in the knob holds up to
six replacement blades. Refer to the assembly sec-
tion for installation instructions. To extend blade life,
lubricate the blade after replacing.
Keep tool clean, dry and free of oil or grease. Use
only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean, since
certain cleaning agents and solvents are harmful to
plastics and other insulated parts. Some of these
include gasoline, turpentine, lacquer thinner, paint
thinner, chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia and
household detergents containing ammonia. Never
use ammable or combustible solvents around tools.

Préparation de la taille du câble
Le levier à taille MC comporte (2) options de taille :

Serrage et coupage des câbles
1. Insérer le câble dans le canal.
2. Presser le levier à serrage automatique jusqu’à ce
que le goujon de serrage parvienne à se mettre
au fond de la fente du câble.
3. Tenir l’outil près de la tête de coupe et la presser
jusqu’à ce que la lame soit en contact avec le
avoir ajusté la profondeur de la coupe. Un câble
ébréché pourra causer un arc électrique, ce qui

1. Utiliser une clé hexagonale de 2 mm (3 / 32) pour
faire tourner à gauche la vis de xation dans le
boîtier supérieure d’un quart de tour.
2. Eectuer une coupe d’essai et régler la vis de
fixation jusqu’à ce que la lame parvienne à

de graisse. Le nettoyage doit se faire avec un linge
humide et un savon doux. Certains nettoyants tels
l’essence, la térébenthine, les diluants à laque ou à
peinture, les solvants chlorés, l’ammoniaque et les
détergents d’usage domestique qui en contiennent
pourraient détériorer le plastique et l’isolation des
pièces. Ne laissez jamais de solvants inammables
ou combustibles auprès des outils.
