Warning: Only use an IPX4 adapter with output

rating 5Vdc, 2W. It is recommended to use a

Philips power adapter; see the Philips website

for current information.

Getting started

Attaching the brush head

1 Align the brush head so the bristles point in the

same direction as the front of the handle.

2 Press the brush head down onto the metal shaft

until there is a small 1-2 mm gap. (Fig. 3)

Note: It is normal to see a slight gap between the

brush head and the handle (Fig. 3). This allows the

brush head to vibrate properly.

Charging your Philips Sonicare

1 Place the power toothbrush handle on the charger

(Fig. 4).

2 Connect the charger to a 5V USB wall adapter.

3 Your toothbrush continues to charge until it is fully

charged.

-When the toothbrush is charging, the battery

indicator pulsates green.

-When fully charged, the battery indicator will

light up solid green for 30 seconds before

turning o.

Note: It can take up to 10 hours to fully charge the

battery, but you can use the toothbrush before it is

fully charged.

Using your Philips Sonicare

toothbrush

If you are using your Sonicare toothbrush for the

rst time, it is normal to feel more vibration than

when using a non-electric toothbrush. It is common

for rst time users to apply too much pressure. Only

apply gentle pressure and let the toothbrush do the

brushing for you. Please follow brushing instructions

below for the best experience.

Brushing instructions

1 Wet the bristles and apply a small amount of

toothpaste.

2 Place the toothbrush bristles against the teeth at a

slight angle (45 degrees), pressing gently to make

the bristles reach the gumline or slightly beneath

the gumline.

Note: Do not turn on the toothbrush until the

brush head is against your teeth.

3 Press the power on/o button to turn on the

Philips Sonicare.

Note: Keep the center of the brush in contact with

the teeth at all times.

4 Gently keep the bristles placed on the teeth and

in the gumline. Brush your teeth with small back

and forth motion so the bristles reach between

the teeth. Continue this motion throughout your

brushing cycle.

Note: The bristles should slightly are. Do not

scrub. It is not recommended to scrub as you

would with a manual toothbrush.

5 To clean the inside surfaces of the front teeth, tilt

the brush handle semi-upright and make several

vertical overlapping brushing strokes on each

tooth (Fig. 6).

Note: To make sure you brush evenly throughout

the mouth, divide your mouth into 4 sections using

the QuadPacer feature (see chapter ‘Features’).

6 Begin brushing in section 1 (outside upper teeth)

and brush for 30 seconds before you move to

section 2 (inside upper teeth). Continue brushing

in section 3 (outside lower teeth) and brush for

30 seconds before you move to section 4 (inside

lower teeth) (Fig. 7).

7 After you have completed the brushing cycle, you

can spend additional time brushing the chewing

surfaces of your teeth and areas where staining

occurs. You can also brush your tongue, with the

toothbrush turned on or o, as you prefer (Fig. 8).

Note: To switch o the power toothbrush, hold

down the power button for 3 seconds or more.

Your Philips Sonicare toothbrush should be safe to

use on braces (brush heads wear out sooner when

used on braces) and dental restorations (llings,

crowns, veneers) if they are properly adhered and not

compromised. If a problem occurs, please follow up

with a dental professional.

Battery status

This Philips Sonicare toothbrush is designed to provide

at least 60 brushing sessions after fully charged for

10 hours, each session lasting 2 minutes. When the

battery is low, the battery indicator starts to ash.

Note: When the battery is completely empty, the

toothbrush switches o. Place the handle on the

charger to charge it.

Note: To keep the battery fully charged at all times,

you may keep your Philips Sonicare toothbrush on the

charger when not in use.

Note: Battery usage time is expected to reduce over

product life time.

Note: When you use the toothbrush for the rst time,

the default mode is ‚Clean‘.

To toggle between the brushing modes:

•Press the power button once to turn on the

toothbrush. Press a second time • within 3 seconds

to change the brushing mode. After the toothbrush •

has been on ve seconds, if you want to change

modes, you‘ll need to turn the toothbrush o, then on

and press the power button within 3 seconds.

Smartimer

The Smartimer indicates that your brushing cycle is

complete by automatically turning o the toothbrush

at the end of the brushing cycle.

Dental professionals recommend brushing no less

than 2 minutes twice a day.

Note: The timer for Refresh mode is 1 minute.

Quadpacer

The Quadpacer is an interval timer that has a short

pause every 30 seconds (15 seconds in the Refresh

mode) to remind you to brush the 4 sections of your

mouth evenly and thoroughly (Fig. 7).

Cleaning

You should clean your Philips Sonicare toothbrush

regularly to remove toothpaste and other residue.

Failure to clean your Philips Sonicare toothbrush may

result in an unhygienic product and damage to it may

occur.

Warning: Do not clean brush heads, the handle

or the charger in the dishwasher.

Warning: Do not clean with boiling hot water.

Toothbrush handle

1 Remove the brush head and rinse the metal shaft

area with warm water (Fig. 9). Make sure you

remove any residual toothpaste.

Caution: Do not push on the rubber seal on the

metal shaft with sharp objects, as this may cause

damage.

2 Wipe the entire surface of the handle with a damp

cloth.

Note: Do not tap the handle on the sink to remove

excess water.

Brush head

1 Rinse the brush head and bristles after each use

(Fig. 10).

2 Remove the brush head from the handle and rinse

the brush head connection with warm water at

least once a week. Rinse the travel cap as often as

needed.

Charger

1 Unplug the charger before you clean it.

2 Wipe the surface of the charger with a damp cloth.

Storage

If you are not going to use the product for a long

time, unplug it, clean it (see chapter ‚Cleaning‘) and

store it in a cool and dry place away from direct

sunlight.

Replacement

Brush head

Replace Philips Sonicare brush heads every 3 months

to achieve optimal results. Use only Philips Sonicare

Gentle White or Mini Soft brush heads compatible

with Philips Sonicare 3200 or 3900 Series handle.

Recycling

•This symbol means that electrical products and

batteries shall not be disposed of with normal

household waste (Fig. 11). Follow your country’s •

rules for the separate collection of electrical products

and batteries.

Removal of built-in rechargeable battery

Li-ion rechargeable battery

The built-in rechargeable battery is non-replaceable,

and must only be removed by a qualied professional

at the end of its life. Before removing the battery,

make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the

wall socket and that the battery is completely empty.

Take any necessary safety precautions when

you handle tools to open the appliance and

when you dispose of the rechargeable battery.

When you handle batteries, make sure that

your hands, the product and the batteries are

dry.

To avoid accidental short-circuiting of batteries

after removal, do not let battery terminals

come into contact with metal objects (e.g.

coins, hairpins, rings). Do not wrap batteries in

aluminum foil. Tape battery terminals or put

batteries in a plastic bag before you discard

them.

1 Remove the inner body from the handle.

2 Remove the rechargeable battery from the inner

body.

开始使用

使用指南

安裝刷頭

1 將刷頭對齊，使刷毛朝向刷柄正面。

2 將刷頭下壓到金屬軸上，直到只剩 1-2 mm 的間

隙。 (圖 3)

注意：如果刷頭和握柄之間有些微空隙，此屬正常現象

(圖 3)。這樣一來，刷頭才會順暢震動。

為 Philips Sonicare 充電

1 將電動牙刷握柄放在充電器 (圖 4)上。

2 將充電器連接到5V的USB電源轉換器並插上牆上

插座。

3 您的牙刷會持續充電，直到電量充滿為止。

-牙刷充電期間，電池指示燈會閃爍綠燈。

-充飽電後，電池指示燈將持續亮綠燈 30 秒，

然後熄滅。

注意：牙刷充滿電需要長達 10 小時的時間，但

是在充滿電之前即可使用。

使用Philips Sonicare 牙刷

如果您是首次使用Philips Sonicare 聲波震動牙刷，通

常會感覺其振動幅度比非電動牙刷更強烈。用戶首次

使用時通常會用力過度。只需要輕輕用力即可實現良

好的刷牙效果。請按照下方的刷牙說明操作以獲得最

佳體驗。

刷牙方法

1 沾濕刷毛，擠上少量牙膏。

2 將牙刷刷毛略呈傾斜 (45 度) 放置於牙齒表面，稍

微下壓使刷毛接觸牙齦線或牙齦線稍下方。

注意：等刷頭接觸牙齒後，再開啟牙刷電源。

3 按下電源開關按鈕，開啟Philips Sonicare 牙刷。

注意：隨時讓牙刷中央與牙齒保持接觸。

4 輕輕讓刷毛置於牙齒表面及牙齦上，以小幅動作

在牙齒表面來回刷動，讓刷毛能深入牙齒間細

縫。刷牙週期當中，請全程持續此動作。

注意：刷毛應稍微展開。請勿過度用力。我們不

建議您以手動牙刷的方式用力刷牙。

5 如要清潔門齒內側表面，請直握刷柄，使其呈半

傾斜，在每顆牙齒 (圖 6)上反覆垂直震動。

注意：為確保牙刷能均衡地清潔整個口腔，請利

用四分象限計時器 QuadPacer 功能將牙齒劃分為

4 個區域 (請參閱「功能」章節)。

6 從第 1 區 (上方外側牙齒) 開始刷牙，刷 30 秒，

再移到第 2 區 (上方內側牙齒)。繼續在第 3 區 (

下方外側牙齒) 刷牙，並刷 30 秒，再移到第 4 區

(下方內側牙齒) (圖 7)。

7 完成刷牙週期後，可多花些時間刷洗牙齒咬合面

及齒垢堆積處。也可隨個人喜好 (圖 8)，在牙刷

電源啟動或關閉之下刷洗舌頭。

注意：若要關閉電動牙刷電源，請按住電源按鈕

3 秒以上。

若您的口中有牙齒矯正器 (如果裝有矯正器，牙刷刷毛

會較快磨損) 或牙齒補綴物 (填補、牙套、牙面鑲嵌)，

只要這些裝置牢固附著且未鬆脫，您就可以安全地使

用Philips Sonicare 牙刷刷牙。若發生問題，請與專業

電池狀態

本飛利浦 Sonicare 牙刷完全充滿電後，可供應至少 60

次刷牙時段的電力，每階段持續 2 分鐘。電池電力不

足時，電池指示燈會開始閃爍。

注意：電池電力完全耗盡時，牙刷會關閉電源，這時

若要切換刷牙模式：

次即可變更刷牙模式。若要在開啟牙刷電源5秒後變•

更模式，則需要先關閉牙刷電源後重新打開電源，然後

在 3 秒內按下電源按鈕。

Smartimer

Smartimer 智慧計時器能在刷牙週期結束時自動關閉

牙刷的電源，表示您的刷牙週期已經完成。

牙科專家建議，每日應刷牙兩次，每次 2 分鐘以上。

注意：清新(Refresh) 模式的計時器為 1 分鐘。

時段計時器 (QuadPacer)

時段計時器 (Quadpacer) 是區間計時器，每隔 30 秒

會很快暫停一次 (清新 (Refresh) 模式下為 15 秒)，可

提醒您平均且充分 (圖 7)地刷洗您口腔的 4 個區域。

清潔

Philips Sonicare 牙刷應定期清潔，以清除牙膏和其他

殘留物。若未善加清潔Philips Sonicare 牙刷，可能導

致產品不衛生或損壞。

警告：請勿將刷頭、握柄或充電器放入洗碗機中

清洗。

警告：請勿用煮沸熱水清洗。

牙刷握柄

1 取下刷頭，用溫水 (圖 9)沖洗金屬軸部分。確實

去除殘留的牙膏。

注意事項：請勿使用尖銳物品按壓金屬軸的橡膠套，

2 用濕布擦拭整個刷柄的表面。

收納
