PER IL COLLEGAMENTO DI UN DIFFUSORE ACUSTICO

NEI SISTEMI ELETTROACUSTICI CON FUNZIONE D'EMERGENZA

ACCESSORY WITH CERAMIC TERMINAL AND A THERMAL FUSE

TO CONNECT A LOUDSPEAKER

IN SOUND SYSTEMS FOR EMERGENCY PURPOSES

AVVERTENZE :

–La RCF S.p.A. raccomanda vivamente che l’installazione di questo prodotto sia eseguita solamente

da installatori professionali qualificati (oppure da ditte specializzate) in grado di farla correttamente

e certificarla in accordo con le normative vigenti. Tutto il sistema audio dovrà essere in conformità

con le norme e le leggi vigenti in materia di impianti elettrici.

–La linea diffusori (uscita dell’amplificatore) può avere una tensione sufficientemente alta (es. 100 V)

da costituire un rischio di folgorazione per le persone: non procedere mai all’installazione o alla

connessione del diffusore quando la linea è in tensione.

–I diffusori devono essere collegati in fase (corrispondenza delle polarità +/- tra amplificatori e

diffusori) in modo da garantire una corretta riproduzione audio.

–Il cavo per il collegamento del diffusore dovrà avere conduttori di sezione adeguata (possibilmente

intrecciati, per minimizzare gli effetti induttivi dovuti all’accoppiamento con campi elettro-magnetici

circostanti) ed un isolamento idoneo.

PRECAUTIONS :

–RCF S.p.A. strongly recommends this product is only installed by professional qualified installers

(or specialised firms) who can ensure a correct installation and certify it according to the regulations

in force. The entire audio system must comply with the current standards and regulations regarding

electrical systems.

–Loudspeaker lines (amplifier outputs) can have a sufficiently high voltage (i.e. 100-70 V) to involve

a risk of electrocution: never install or connect this loudspeaker when the line is alive.

–To ensure a correct sound reproduction, loudspeaker phase is to be respected (loudspeakers are

connected respecting the amplifier polarity).

–The loudspeaker cable shall have wires with a suitable section (twisted, if possible, to reduce

inductive effects due to surrounding electro-magnetic fields) and a sufficient electrical insulation.

Refer to local regulations since there may be additional requirements about cable characteristics.

RCF AC 1503 – ISTRUZIONI INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fissare l'accessorio AC 1503 al diffusore (es. per controsoffitto) usando una vite

autofilettante passante per il foro dell'aletta.

1. Fix the AC 1503 accessory to the loudspeaker (e.g. for false-ceiling) by using

a self-tapping screw through the hole in the ear.

2. Collegare la linea 100 V ai terminali a vite (sul

lato interno dell'accessorio) tramite 2 cavi

(uno entrante ed uno uscente, in modo da

mantenere la continuazione e della linea, ad

eccezione dell'ultimo diffusore).

Il conduttore positivo va posto sul morsetto

centrale che fa capo al termofusibile.

2. Connect the 100 / 70 V line to the screw

terminals (on the accessory interior side) with

2 cables (in / out, to keep the line continuous, but

the last loudspeaker).

The positive wire is to be connected to the central

screw terminal that is linked to the thermal fuse.

3. Collegare i restanti morsetti (quelli sul lato esterno

dell'accessorio) al trasformatore del diffusore.

3. Connect the other screw terminals (on the accessory

external side) to the loudspeaker transformer.
