1. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to

• Never leave the empty carafe (7) on the warming plate (12) when the
maker is
on. Otherwise the carafe (7) is liable to crack.
• Do not set a hot carafe on a wet or a cold surface.
• Do not use a cracked carafe or a carafe having a loose or weakened handle.
• Do not clean carafe with cleansers, steel wool pads, or other abrasive material.
• To reduce the risk of or electric shock, do not remove the warning cover on the
appliance. No user serviceable parts inside.
