refractive index), increasing underwater field-of-view by 33%. The precision 2-element optical construction maintains the
camera’s native focal length and focussing range on land or underwater. It is compatible with all underwater housings with
52mm lens port or SeaLife DC-series UW housings. The lens can be attached/removed while underwater.

a) If your camera vignettes (dark corners) when using
the lens, slightly increase the zoom until vignette is
gone.

b) After each dive, soak the lens in fresh water for
about 20 minutes to remove any residual salt, sand
and dirt. Dry lens with clean cotton towel so water
drops do not dry and stain the lens.

c) Some camera models may need to be set to macro
auto focus. Do not set camera to infinity focus.

d) When using the 52mm DC Adapter, avoid
bumping/knocking the lens or it may dismount from
the housing lens ports.

e) Make sure the lens cover is free of sand/dirt/debris
before attaching it to the lens or it may cause
scratches.

f) The dome lens has a hard coating applied to prevent
scratches; however, proper lens cleaning care is
required. Brush or blow away and sand/dirt/debris
from the lens surface. Use lens cleaning cloth
provided to gently clean finger prints and smudges
from the lens. Moisten lens cloth with lens cleaner
or fresh water if necessary. Never use detergents or
chemicals to clean the lens.

g) Apply a small amount of silicone O-ring lube to the
52mm threads of the lens to prevent corrosion on
the thread surface.

h) After entering the water, remove the lens from the
camera to get rid of any trapped air. There must be
water between the lens and the camera port.

i) When the lens is being submerged in cold water, the
sudden change of temperature may cause fogging
inside the lens. Just before diving, immerse the lens
in the cold water for about 15 minutes to reduce the
chance of fogging from sudden temperature change.
