Congratulations on the purchase of your new product. You have

chosen a high-quality article. The instructions for use are part of

this product. They contain important information on safety and

use. Please familiarise yourself with the instructions and safety

information before using this product. Use the product only in

perfect condition, as described and for the speciﬁed area of

use. Please keep all packaging including this leaﬂet for as long

as you use the product and be sure to include them when

handing on the product to another person.

Scope of delivery

1 x textile wrap

4 x heating pads

1 x instructions for use

Intended use

Can be used to relieve back pains

Use:

• Open the sachet by hand (do not use scissors/knife) and

remove the warming pad.

• Place one warming pad in each of the two pockets of the

warming belt so that the printed side faces the body.

• Insert no more than one pad per pocket

• Position the pockets ﬁlled with the warming pads on the

painful area around the lumbar spine or hip.

• Wrap the warming belt exactly around the body and secure

it with the Velcro fastener.

• After use, remove the heat pads from the warming belt and

dispose of them.

• The warming belt is available for the next application.

• Since the warming pads are individually packaged, it is possi-

ble to use only one warming pad to relieve localised pain in

the lumbar vertebra or hip area.

Notes:

• The warming pads are activated by air

• Therefore do not open the sachet until just before using it.

• The warming pad will be activated within one minute and will

warm up within 5 minutes after the sachet has been opened.

• For external use only

• Every warming pad is designed for a single application.

• It is normal to observe a slight redness of the skin after use. If

the skin is still reddened after a few hours, the application

should be stopped until the redness has completely disap-

peared.

If used incorrectly, the product may cause burns

even at low temperatures.

Follow the instructions and check the application site re-

gularly.

Allow air to circulate over the warming pad and do not

apply pressure, for example by lying or sitting on the

warming pad or wearing a tight belt/clothes over the

warming belt or leaning against a hard surface.

Do not use longer than 8 hours per day (=24-hour period)

in the same place.

If the warming belt becomes uncomfortably hot or a skin

rash develops, stop use immediately.

Use only with careful supervision for persons who cannot

remove the product by themselves, such as elderly or

physically disabled persons.

If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical attention.

Do not use the warming belt while sleeping.

Do not use on any part of the body other than the

lumbar region or lower back.

For sensitive or mature skin, wear a thin garment under

the warming belt.

Restrictions on use

Please consult your doctor or pharmacist before using

this product if you:

• suﬀer from poor circulation or heart disease,

• suﬀer from diabetes,

• suﬀer from nerve damage or a disorder of the sensory

functions,

• suﬀer from a skin condition,

• suﬀer from rheumatoid arthritis or are pregnant.

Do not use:

• for children under 12;

• whilst sleeping

• for menstrual complaints or irritable bowel syndrome

• in combination with creams, lotions or sprays that are applied

to the skin and also not in combination with or near other sour-

ces of heat.

• in combination with or near other sources of heat.

• in places where redness, inﬂammation, skin cracks, bruising or

skin irritation may be present.

• in body parts where warmth is not perceptible.

• for patients who have experienced an allergic reaction to me-

dication or cosmetics in the past

• for bedridden patients and patients with a tendency to deve-

lop skin ulcers.

The product may not

• come into contact with water or other liquids.

• be kneaded, cut, ripped or folded.

• be re-warmed.

Ingredients of the warming pads:

iron, vermiculite, activated charcoal, sodium chloride, water

The ingredients can be harmful if swallowed or

come into direct contact with the skin or eyes:

• If contents have been swallowed, rinse mouth with water.

• If the contents come into direct contact with the skin or eyes,

immediately rinse with water.

• In both cases, immediate medical advice should be sought.

Storage/minimum shelf life:

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

• Use only until the best before date indicated on the sachet.
