Congratulations on the purchase of your new product. You have

chosen a high-quality article. The instructions for use are part of

this product. They contain important information on safety and

use. Please familiarise yourself with the instructions and safety

information before using this product. Use the product only in

perfect condition, as described and for the speciﬁed area of

use. Please keep all packaging including this leaﬂet for as long

as you use the brace and be sure to include them when handing

on the product to another person.

Proper use of the cold compress:

Cooling compress for external use

Applications:

• To soothe headaches and migraines

• To treat hematoma and bruises

• To ease the pain of sprains and burns

• For fever reduction

• For the alleviation of tooth aches

• For the treatment of insect bites

Use of the cold compress

Prior to use, the gel cold compress will have to be placed into

the refrigerator or freezer for about an hour (1). When cold,

place the cold compress into the designated protective cover

(2) and then on the area that hurts (3).

Usage restrictions

Do not use the compresses under any circumstances

if you:

• Have circulation problems

• Your temperature sensitivity is limited

• Are taking prescription pain medication

• Have open wounds or damaged skin

Warnings

These compresses are designated for external use only and thus

have to be stored out of children’s reach. They must not be used

on children who are less than three years old. Prior to any use,

please check the compress for damages and do not use it if you

ﬁnd any. In this case, please dispose of it along with your

household waste. Keep away from naked ﬂames. Do not use

this compress outside of its protective cover under any

circumstances, as this will expose the patient to a risk of freezing

skin burns!

Care Instructions

Use a mild soap and rinse the compress under warm water (do

not use any other cleaning products or disinfectants). Dry the

compress with a soft towel.

Instructions for disposal

Please dispose of the product in an environmentally-friendly

way through an approved disposal centre or your local waste

facility. Observe currently applicable regulations.

3-year warranty

The product has been created with great care and under

constant monitoring. You will receive a 3-year warranty for this

product from the date of purchase. Please keep the receipt. The

warranty is valid only for material and manufacturing faults and

lapses in the event of misuse or improper handling. Your statutory

rights, particularly the warranty rights, are not restricted by this

warranty. If you have any complaints, please contact the service

hotline below or contact us by email. Our service staﬀ will

discuss how to proceed further with you as soon as possible.

In any case, we will personally advise you. The warranty period

is not extended by any repairs under the terms of the warranty,

statutory warranty or goodwill. This also applies to replaced

and repaired parts. After expiry of the warranty, incurred

repairs are chargeable.
