order to use your camera as quickly and easily as possible.

4.1. Connecting the camera
• Connect the adapter cable to the DC connection of the camera

"Register success" is displayed.
• Click on "Cancel" to return to the "Login" screen.

• Click on "QRCode", the screen "Tips" shows C.
• Click on "OK" and carry out the associated following steps.

• Input the camera code at "Enter Device ID" and the camera
password at "Enter Access Password". You can nd both codes
on the back of the camera.

box next to "Password".

4.2. Settings for smartphone use
Attention! To use the Flamingo "Plug2View(iOS) &
p2pcamviewer(Android)" App, you need a smartphone with
internet access.
Attention! To scan a QR code, you need an APP that can scan
barcodes.
To set up your camera using Android, go to section 4.2.1. To set up
your camera using iOS, go to section 4.2.2.
4.2.1. Android
• Download the App: "p2pcamviewer" via Google Play and
install it.
• Start the App.
The "Login" screen of the App shows A. Here you can log in to
the App, you can register an account and you can download a QR
code scanner.
Registering an account
• Click on "Register", the screen "Register" shows B.

4.2.3. General
• For instructions on placing your camera go to section 4.7.
• For instructions on using your camera with the App go to
chapter 5.
4.3. Install your camera on your PC
• Insert the included CD-ROM into your computer.
• Launch "SYSM Monitor.exe" from the CD-ROM.
• To run through the installation, click on "Next" three times.
• Complete the installation by clicking on "Restart computer".
The IP camera tool is now installed on your computer. You will nd
the shortcut on your desktop.
4.2.2. iOS
• Download the App: "Plug2View" from the App Store and
install it.
• Start the App.
The "Login" screen of the App shows E. Here you can log in to
the App, you can register an account and you can download a QR
code scanner.
Registering an account
• Click on "Register", the screen "Register Account" shows F.
• Enter your username at "Username".
• Enter your password at "Password".
• Enter your password once again at "Please enter again".
• Enter your email address at "Email".
• Click on "Done". When the registration is successful, a message
"Register success" is displayed.
• Click on "OK" and then "Login" to return to the "Login" screen.
Scanning QR Code
• Click on "Scan QR Code" and then scan a QR code. This must
entirely t within the white square.
• Press "Cancel" to go back again without scanning.
Login to the App
• Input the camera code at "Username" and the camera

IP camera(s) connected to your network.
If you want to watch your camera from a remote computer that is
not connected to the camera via LAN, perform the following steps:
• Input the camera code at "User name" and the camera
password at "Password". You can nd both codes on the back
of the camera.
• If you want the App to remember your password, click on the
box next to "Save Password".
• Press the "Login" button. Your camera is shown in the WAN
window I.
• Double-click the camera which you want to use. The main
window H1 displays the camera image. You can manage your
camera and camera settings via this screen and control panel
at the bottom right H3 (see chapter 6).
4.6. Linking to your camera wirelessly
Please note! In order to set up a wireless connection, your
camera must be linked to your network via the included
ethernet cable during set-up.
Please note! You need a wireless router in order to establish a
wireless connection with your camera.
Please note! If your router is password protected, you will
need to know the password.
Please note! Do not remove this shortcut! You will have to
re-install the IP camera tool if you do.
4.4. Linking to your camera
• Start the IP Camera Tool via the "SYSM Monitor" shortcut on
your desktop. The IP camera tool automatically searches for the
IP camera(s) connected to your network.
Attention! All your IP cameras are displayed in the LAN
window H2 . If no cameras are visible, perform the following
operation:
• Right mouse click in the LAN window.
• Left mouse click on "Refresh" to refresh the list.
• Double-click the camera which you want to use. The main
window H1 displays the camera image. You can manage your
camera and camera settings via this screen and control panel
at the bottom right H3 (see chapter 6).
4.5. Connecting you camera from a
remote computer
• Start the IP Camera Tool via the "SYSM Monitor" shortcut on
your desktop. The IP camera tool automatically searches for the

4.7. Camera installation
Please note! Make sure that the camera functions properly in
the chosen location before starting installation.
You can choose to place the camera on a at surface, or to attach
the camera to the location of your choice with screws.
To mount the camera using screws, perform the following steps:
• Unscrew the camera from the base, so it does not get in the
way during installation 5.
• Open the screw holes in the base of the camera 6.
• Measure the distance between the centre points of the holes
in the base of the camera. Mark this distance on the desired
surface 7.
• Screw the screws into the desired surface and slide the base of
the camera on the screws 8.
Please note! If the surface is too hard for the screws (stone/
concrete), you will need to drill holes and use the screw plugs
which are included.
• Screw the camera back onto the base.
4.8. Adjusting the camera angle
• Rotate the casing at the ball joint loose 9.
• Then adjust the camera angle and tighten the casing at the ball
joint back on% 1%.
• Start the IP Camera Tool via the "SYSM Monitor" shortcut on
your desktop. The IP camera tool automatically searches for the
IP camera(s) connected to your network.
Attention! All your IP cameras are displayed in the LAN
window H2 . If no cameras are visible, perform the following
operation:
• Right mouse click in the LAN window.
• Left mouse click on "Refresh" to refresh the list.
• Right mouse click on the desired camera and choose "Set Wi-Fi
Connection". The screen displays the Wi-Fi settings.
• Press "Scan" to search for the correct Wi-Fi network.
• Enter the details that apply to your Wi-Fi network and press OK.
The camera will now restart.
• Disconnect the network cable from the camera during
the restart. The wireless connection to the camera is now
established.
• Double-click the camera which you want to use. The main
window H1 displays the camera image. You can manage your
camera and camera settings via this screen and control panel
at the bottom right H3 (see chapter 6).

On the WAN tab click on the camera you want to manage. The
camera image appears on your smartphone J.
Attention! If you do not have a picture it is possible that your
wireless connection is not fast enough. In that case change the
resolution of your camera image (see section 5.1.1)
The camera screen provides a number of options:
• Click the listen / speak J1 button, in the camera image
headphones and a microphone appear.
• Click on the headphones K to listen to the sound that the
camera is recording.
• Click on the microphone L to speak using the speaker of
the camera.
• Click on the headphones or microphone again to switch
o the aforementioned function(s).
• Click on the Snapshot button J2 to take a picture of your
camera image
• Press the Video button J3 to start recording a video, press the
video button again to end the video recording.
• Click on the PTZ button M to use the control panel. Here you
can mirror the image, you can zoom in and out and refresh the
camera image.
5. Managing your camera using
your smartphone
Make sure your camera(s) is/are connected to your smartphone
via the Flamingo "Plug to view" App (see section 4.1 and 4.2).
5.1. Viewing your camera image on your
Android smartphone
The home screen of the App consists of the following tabs D:
WAND1 : here you can see all the available cameras.
LAN D2 : here you can see all the available cameras that are
connected via a Wi-Fi connection.
File D3 : all "screencaptures" / photos and videos are saved
here.
Event D4: here you can see when your camera has been
online and oine and here you can nd alarm
reports when movement has been detected.
MoreD5 : here you can share les with friends, update the
app, learn more about the app, motion detection
and / or switch the Oine Push on or o, and
view information about the storage space on your
smartphone.

5.2.1. Changing the settings of your camera on your iPhone
• On the Remote Device page tab, click on the "Options" button
G5 . The "Setting the device" screen appears Q.
• Click on "Video parameter setting", the Video Setting

• On the WAN tab, click on the arrow button next to the camera
that you want to manage. The "Setting" screen appears N.
• Click on "Video setting", the Video Setting screen appears O.
• Click "Quality" on the grey triangle and then press the desired
setting. LOW is low quality, EXCELLENT is very high image
quality. With CUSTOM you can enter values for the camera
yourself.
5.2. Viewing your camera image on your
iPhone
The home screen of the App consists of the following tabs G:
Remote G1 : here you can see all the available cameras.
Local G2 : here you can see all the available cameras that are
connected via a WiFi connection.
File G3 : here all "screencaptures" / photos and videos are
saved. Here, the saved les can be sent via email
and / or can be removed. To do so, click on the
"Edit" button.
About G4 : here you can view more information about the App.
• On the Remote Device page tab, click on camera you want to
manage. The camera picture appears on your smartphone P.

"Zoom in": by pressing this button the camera zooms in.
"Zoom out": by pressing this button the camera zooms out.
"Capture": by pressing this button, you can take a picture of
the camera image.
"Record": Press this button to start recording a video, press
the button again to stop the video recording.
"Listen": by pressing this button you can listen to the sound
that the camera is recording.
"Talk": by pressing this button you can talk through the
speaker of the camera.
"Vertical ip": by pressing this button, you can ip the image
horizontally.
"Mirror": by pressing this button, you can ip the image
vertically.
"Settings": by pressing this button, you can control the
settings of the camera.
6.2. Managing your camera's settings
• Press the "Settings" button, the "Device Properties" screen
appears. Here you can set the settings for the colours and the
resolution.
• When you have set the desired settings, click "Apply" to save
the settings and then click on "Close" to return to the start
window.

the PC
When you have camera image in the main window, you can
change and set up the aforementioned using the control panel.
The control panel contains the following buttons:
"Refresh": by pressing this button the camera image is
refreshed.

4.1. Anschluss der Kamera
• Schließen Sie das Netzteilkabel an den Netzteilanschluss
der Kamera 3 an. Verbinden Sie daraufhin den Stecker des
Netzteils mit einer Steckdose.
• Schließen Sie das mitgelieferte Ethernet-Kabel an den
Netzwerk-Port der Kamera 4 an. Verbinden Sie das andere
Ende des Ethernet-Kabels mit Ihrem Router. Wenn die Kamera
mit dem Netzwerk verbunden ist, leuchtet die grüne LED des
Ethernet-Ports auf. Die LED an der Vorderseite der Kamera wird
ebenfalls blinken.
Sie können Ihre IP-Kamera mit Ihrem Smartphone oder mit Ihrem
PC bedienen. Gehen Sie zu Abschnitt 4.2 zur Verwendung über Ihr
Smartphone und zu Abschnitt 4.3 für die Installation auf Ihrem PC.

4.2. Einstellen für Smartphone-
Nutzung
Achtung! Um die Flamingo "Plug2View(iOS) &
p2pcamviewer(Android)"-App zu nutzen, benötigen Sie ein
Smartphone mit Internetzugang.
Achtung! Für das Scannen eines QR-Codes benötigen Sie eine
App, die Barcodes scannen kann.
Anweisungen für die Einstellung Ihrer Kamera über Android
nden Sie in Abschnitt 4.2.1. Anweisungen für die Einstellung Ihrer
Kamera über iOS nden Sie in Abschnitt 4.2.2.
4.2.1. Android
• Laden Sie sich die App "p2pcamviewer" über Google Play
herunter und installieren Sie diese.
• Starten Sie die App.
Der "Login"-Bildschirm der App erscheint A. Hier können Sie sich
bei der App anmelden, Sie können ein Konto registrieren und Sie
können einen QR-Code-Scanner herunterladen.
Konto registrieren
• Drücken Sie auf "Register", der Bildschirm "Register" erscheint
B.
• Geben Sie Ihren Benutzernamen bei "User name" ein.

QR-Code scannen
• Drücken Sie auf "Scan QR Code" und scannen Sie dann einen
QR-Code. Dieser muss vollständig in das weiße Viereck passen.
• Um ohne Scannen zurückzukehren drücken Sie auf "Cancel".
Anmelden bei der App
• Geben Sie den Kameracode bei "Username" ein und das
Kamerapasswort bei "Password". Beide Codes nden Sie auf
der Rückseite der Kamera.
• Wenn Sie wollen, dass sich die App Ihr Passwort merkt,
schieben Sie das Feld hinter "Remember Password" nach
rechts, damit "I" sichtbar ist.
• Drücken Sie die Taste "Login". Der Bildschirm "Remote
Device" erscheint G. Sie können darin sehen, ob die Kamera

Ihre Kamera ist nun Ihrem Telefon hinzugefügt worden und die
Startseite der App sollte erscheinen.
4.2.3. Allgemeines
• Für Anleitungen zum Aufstellen Ihrer Kamera gehen Sie zu
Abschnitt 4.7.
• Für Anleitungen zum Gebrauch Ihrer Kamera mit der App
gehen Sie zu Kapitel 5.
Ihre Kamera ist nun Ihrem Telefon hinzugefügt worden und die
Startseite der App sollte erscheinen.
4.2.2. iOS
• Laden Sie sich die App "Plug2View" über den App Store
herunter und installieren Sie diese.
• Starten Sie die App.
Der "Login"-Bildschirm der App erscheint E. Hier können Sie sich
bei der App anmelden, Sie können ein Konto registrieren und Sie
können einen QR-Code-Scanner herunterladen.
Konto registrieren
• Drücken Sie auf "Register", der Bildschirm "Register Account"
erscheint F.
• Geben Sie Ihren Benutzernamen bei "Username" ein.
• Geben Sie Ihr Passwort bei "Password" ein.
• Geben Sie erneut Ihr Passwort bei "Please enter again" ein.
• Geben Sie Ihre Email-Adresse bei "Email" ein.
• Drücken Sie auf "Done". Wenn die Registrierung erfolgreich
war, erscheint eine Meldung mit "Register success".
• Drücken Sie auf "OK" und dann auf "Login", um auf den "Login"-
Bildschirm zurückzukehren.

Achtung! Im Fenster LAN sind all Ihre IP-Kameras dargestellt
H2 . Wenn keine Kamera angezeigt wird, führen Sie die
folgenden Schritte aus:
• Betätigen Sie die rechte Maustaste im Fenster LAN.
• Drücken Sie mit der linken Maustaste auf "Refresh", um die
Liste neu anzuzeigen.
• Doppelklicken Sie auf die Kamera, die Sie verwenden wollen.
Im Hauptfenster H1 erscheint das Kamerabild. Über den
Bildschirm und das Bedienfeld unten rechts H3 können Sie
Ihre Kamera und die Kameraeinstellungen verwalten (siehe
Kapitel 6).
4.5. Verbindung herstellen mit Ihrer
Kamera von einem externen
Computer
• Starten Sie die IP-Kamera-Software über die Verknüpfung
"SYSM Monitor" auf Ihrem Desktop. Die IP-Kamera-Software
sucht automatisch nach sämtlichen IP-Kameras, die an das
Netzwerk angeschlossen sind.
4.3. Ihre Kamera auf Ihrem PC
installieren
• Legen Sie die mitgelieferte CD-ROM in Ihren Computer ein.
• Starten Sie die Datei "SYSM Monitor.exe" auf der CD-ROM.
• Führen Sie die Installation durch dreimaliges Drücken auf
"Next" durch.
• Zum Abschluss der Installation klicken Sie auf "Computer neu
starten".
Die IP-Kamera-Software ist nun auf Ihrem Rechner installiert. Sie
nden die Verknüpfung auf Ihrem Desktop.
Achtung! Entfernen Sie diese Verknüpfung nicht! Sollte dies
dennoch notwendig sein, müssen Sie die IP-Kamera-Software
neu installieren.
4.4. Verbindung herstellen mit Ihrer
Kamera
• Starten Sie die IP-Kamera-Software über die Verknüpfung
"SYSM Monitor" auf Ihrem Desktop. Die IP-Kamera-Software
sucht automatisch nach sämtlichen IP-Kameras, die an das
Netzwerk angeschlossen sind.

Achtung! Wenn Ihr Router mit einem Kennwort gesichert ist,
müssen Sie dieses Kennwort kennen.
• Starten Sie die IP-Kamera-Software über die Verknüpfung
"SYSM Monitor" auf Ihrem Desktop. Die IP-Kamera-Software
sucht automatisch nach sämtlichen IP-Kameras, die an das
Netzwerk angeschlossen sind.
Achtung! Im Fenster LAN sind all Ihre IP-Kameras dargestellt
H2 . Wenn keine Kamera angezeigt wird, führen Sie die
folgenden Schritte aus:
• Betätigen Sie die rechte Maustaste im Fenster LAN.

• Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf die gewünschte
Kamera und wählen Sie "Set Wi connection". Der Bildschirm
Wi settings erscheint.
• Drücken Sie auf "Scan", um nach dem richtigen WiFi-Netzwerk
zu suchen.
• Tragen Sie die Daten ein, die für Ihr WiFi-Netzwerk gelten und
drücken Sie auf OK. Die Kamera wird jetzt neu gestartet.
• Entfernen Sie während des Neustarts das Netzwerkkabel von
der Kamera. Es ist jetzt eine kabellose Verbindung mit der
Kamera aufgebaut worden.
Wenn Sie Ihre Kamera von einem externen Computer betrachten
wollen, der nicht über eine LAN-Verbindung mit der Kamera
verbunden ist, führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus:
• Geben Sie den Kameracode bei "User name" ein und das
Kamerapasswort bei "Password". Beide Codes nden Sie auf
der Rückseite der Kamera.
• Wenn Sie wollen, dass die App sich Ihr Passwort merkt, klicken
Sie auf das Häkchen "Save Password".
• Drücken Sie auf die Taste "Login". Im WAN-Fenster erscheint
die Kamera I.
• Doppelklicken Sie auf die Kamera, die Sie verwenden wollen.
Im Hauptfenster H1 erscheint das Kamerabild. Über den
Bildschirm und das Bedienfeld unten rechts H3 können Sie
Ihre Kamera und die Kameraeinstellungen verwalten (siehe
Kapitel 6).
4.6. Eine drahtlose Verbindung mit
Ihrer Kamera herstellen
Achtung! Um eine drahtlose Verbindung herzustellen, muss
Ihre Kamera während der Einstellung über das mitgelieferte
Ethernet -Kabel mit Ihrem Netzwerk verbunden sein.
Achtung! Um eine drahtlose Verbindung mit Ihrer Kamera
herzustellen, benötigen Sie einen WLAN-Router.

• Drücken Sie auf das Mikrofon L, um über den
Kameralautsprecher zu sprechen.
• Drücken Sie erneut auf Kopfhörer oder Mikrofon, um die
obengenannte(n) Funktion(en) auszuschalten.
• Drücken Sie auf die Taste Schnappschuss J2 , um ein Foto von
Ihrem Kamerabild zu machen.
• Drücken Sie auf die Taste Video J3 , um eine Videoaufnahme
zu starten, drücken Sie die Taste Video erneut, um die
Videoaufnahme zu stoppen.
• Drücken Sie auf die Taste PTZ M, um das Bedienfeld zu
verwenden. Hier können Sie das Bild spiegeln, können herein-
oder herauszoomen und das Kamerabild aktualisieren.
5.1.1. Einstellungen Ihrer Kamera auf Ihrem Android-
Smartphone ändern
• Drücken Sie auf der Registerkarte WAN auf die Pfeiltaste
neben der Kamera, die Sie verwalten möchten. Der Bildschirm
"Setting" erscheint N.
• Drücken Sie auf "Video Setting", der Bildschirm Video Setting
erscheint O.
• Drücken Sie bei "Quality" auf das graue Dreieck und drücken
Sie dann auf die gewünschte Einstellung. LOW bedeutet
niedrige Qualität, EXCELLENT bedeutet sehr hohe Bildqualität .
Mit CUSTOM können Sie selbst Werte für die Kamera eintragen.
File D3 : hier werden alle "Screenshots" / Fotos und Videos
gespeichert.
Event D4: hier können Sie sehen, wann Ihre Kamera
online und oine war und hier nden Sie
Alarmmeldungen, wenn eine Bewegung erkannt
wurde.
More D5 : hier können Sie Dateien mit Freunden teilen, die
App aktualisieren, mehr Informationen über die
App ansehen, die Bewegungserkennung und/
oder Oine-Push ein- oder ausschalten und
Informationen über den Speicherplatz auf Ihrem
Smartphone ansehen.
Drücken Sie auf der Registerkarte WAN auf die Kamera, die
Sie verwalten wollen. Das Kamerabild erscheint auf Ihrem
Smartphone J.
Achtung! Wenn Sie kein Bild sehen, kann es sein, dass Ihre
Funkverbindung nicht schnell genug ist. Verändern Sie in
diesem Fall die Auösung des Kamerabilds (siehe Abschnitt
5.1.1)
Das Kameradisplay weist eine Reihe von Optionen auf:
• Drücken Sie auf die Taste Hören/Sprechen J1 , im Kamerabild
erscheinen ein Kopfhörer und ein Mikrofon.
• Drücken Sie auf den Kopfhörer K um den Ton zu hören,
den die Kamera aufnimmt.
